  • Nourish LA was started during COVID19. Founder Natalie Flores has connected the dots between those in need of food, those with excess and supermarket waste. Feeding the community with food donations from all round the local area. Excess food from farms, community trees, gardens and food that would have otherwise been thrown out by supermarkets.
Founder Natalie Flores is a passionate gardener, activist and urban farmer. Following her heart and nourishing her community.
In partnership with Demetrios Mavromichalis, owner of The Wood restaurant (which has been closed due to COVID19). Together Natalie , Demetrious and their team of volunteers have repurposed the restaurant and feed over 1000 people a week at their weekly food drive (Sunday 1:30-3:00pm). They also pass out organic seedlings to encourage more food security locally every Friday from 10:30-12:30pm.

This was the first film I ever made and I made it because their story needed to be told. They are both so inspiring. ❤
