  • Annie Marie was a toy maker when she realised that the work she was doing was degenerating our planet. The daughter of a tailor, moving into fashion was a natural move for her combining her curiosity for creating colour naturally and her ability on the sewing machine. She has been collecting pigments from the landscape around her and creating all sorts of beauty. I'm looking forward to sharing more of her process and her work with you.
My garden has become a playground and an excuse to follow my own curiosity. Inviting friends and plant people to share their process and what they have learned. We grew so many marigolds, so making a pigment and dyeing some fabric was a wonderful use for the abundance of flower heads. I've dried lots of flower heads for future use. The Indigo plant was a gift and I believe she's a perennial, so I'm hoping to have another crop of Indigo to play with next year.
This storytelling is ever-evolving. I was a photographer for many years, I never intended to go into film, it's just kind of happened this way, so keep feeding back. I value your comments and feedback and any help you can provide along the way. I'm also open to story ideas and meeting new plant people, so please make referrals too.

I haven’t tried but you could. You’ll get a greeny colour.
