George has to be the most straightforward skater on youtube, with the most genuine content as well as some of the best styles in every aspect skater and not. his videos always get to the point and even though there are some side thigs, they never seem to bother me bc i genuinely love his content. i know it ain't much coming from some 15 yo shitty Chicago skater, but keep it up, you're killing it.
I'm 33 years old with a wife and a baby and you inspired me to skate again last year. I graduated in Computer Science too, haha. It's been about 12 years and relearning tricks again ain't that bad :) Keep the gnarly content up, dude!
Bro! I swear these old videos are like some of my core memories!!! How UA-cam skate content used to be is just so hard to imagine now because we would never do things like this anymore. It's hard to explain to people that didn't participate in early youtube skate content.
9:17 that’s so true I’ve been trying to land a pop shove it for 1 month from help then I kept practicing and tried it my own way and almost landed it then I shoved my friend who’s better than me and told me to put my toes hanging it works better for him and I tried it and landed it I was so happy now I can land them like 50% of the time
That's some crazy commitment *Young Wheezy?!* It's a beautiful thing to see. It was amazing seeing your progress through the years and hearing you talk about it. 5* Would watch again!
I want this to go viral SO bad! So many tips, good commentary and great progression. Steezy Tre and steezy video today George, you're the man. If this isn't inspiring you to skate then idk what will🙏
keep up the work bro, I always enjoy watching your videos and learning out of them and just having fun watching them, I bet you‘re such a nice dude✌🏻:)
Fun fact, in physics and mathematics there’s something called the ‘right hand rule’ where if you take your right hand, pretend you’re holding a can and point up with your thumb, your fingers represent orientation of rotation and your thumb represents the direction it will go if the object rotates in the orientation of direction (your fingers). That’s probably why (as I’ve noticed) tre flips sometimes seem easier for people in goofy stance and people in regular stance find it easier switch
I wish i would of stayed with it. I had no encouragement or friends that skate so I lost motivation, but since the quarantine I've picked it back up again
Little George skating in his pjs is definitely me this whole week with not being able to leave the house due to quarantine and stuff ive just been practicing in my pajamas in the garage 😂
damn i remember those old UA-cam times. late 2000's. i used to watch elementskater, fallenskater0, sk8rat (alex), Ellis Frost and many more "7 seconds" video youtubers just skating in their garage. and yes nike zoom tres were the shit. didn't know you were one of them
Haha yeah,I remember watching those. I started watching those videos kinda later (2010 or so?) But I definitely remember watching a lot of Elias frost and the revive team member videos.
I am a 14 year old girl and I landed my first tre in november (it was a 270 one) and I had times when I could do them alright now I'm always loosing them on flat but I can do them way better on ramps (to fakie), out of a ramp or down boxes and it is always way more fun
Makes me real disappointed in myself that i quit skating back in the day. I had such a passion for it as a kid and I got into the wrong group in highschool amd there went that passion. Starting over again at 23 isnt easy makes me just wish I stuck with it
5 days ago i started learning this trick i landed the first one 3 days ago (notice ive been skating for 2-3 years) and i my flip and scoop is amazing the only problem is the commitment. I push my self to land one everyday since the day i got the first one and well it takes me to 1-2 hours to land it just bc my low commitment level
I’m trying to land tres right now. I can only get my back foot on and the board won’t do the full flip. Any help? Update: I can get the full rotation but only land 1 foot UPDATE 2: I landed it but with a big fat toe touch
The Best well for me, what’s helped me a ton with Tre flips is weirdly enough, just try to be funny conscious of the board’s rotation if that makes sense. Rather than just trying them out of muscle memory and trying to land them, try to be fully aware of what you are doing and what the board is doing. Also don’t bend DOWN too much using your spine and back, because then you lean forward too much and won’t land over the board, so when you bend down keep your head centered over the board.
George can you make how to videos and in them say what makes it easier for you. I know you made shove it, Ollie and kickflip but maybe you could do some others thanks
that was a nice progression! Hope I could have the same... idk why but I cannot tre like the board is always doing a varial double or triple flip when I commite and I just don't know why it's so frustrating! Plz guys help me on that on...
5:09 prolly the cleanest tre ive ever seen
Vasco Grãos naaa
Ui!!

Bandaid Branders that people can comment like more than that zYayagaha
I don't get it
This video reminded me of the good old days growing up skating being care free. It really took me away from my panic of corona. Thanks George
No problem. Stay safe
5:20 Smacking the fish eye sounds like a gross euphemism for rubbing one out
Yung Weezy... I’m dead 😂😂

Bro! I swear these old videos are like some of my core memories!!! How UA-cam skate content used to be is just so hard to imagine now because we would never do things like this anymore. It's hard to explain to people that didn't participate in early youtube skate content.

"Hello my name is Young Wizzy" 😆😆
That's some crazy commitment *Young Wheezy?!*
It's a beautiful thing to see. It was amazing seeing your progress through the years and hearing you talk about it.

Consistent practice will get you there, and think about the trick before each new attempt to do something different every time.
You’ll get it eventually
Thank god theres vid versions of the podcast now!
keep up the work bro, I always enjoy watching your videos and learning out of them and just having fun watching them, I bet you‘re such a nice dude✌🏻:)
I literally landed my first tre flip yesterday it only took me about 1 month of trying
How much did sb dunk lows cost back then?
It's good to see this. Really shows how long it takes to really 'get' a trick. Particularly a tough trick like this.
Stay safe everyone!
Wow dude great video glad to see your doing fine stay safe :)
Really inspiring! Reminding me to actually stop and document my current level in skateboarding
I was watching this and realized I 100% watched one of your treflip videos back in early high school. Woulda been around the 2010 timeframe.
This is an awesome video, keep it up! Also you should make a review on your ace trucks
Can't wait to learn this trick. First want to learn the frontside flip tho
This video was 22 min well spent keep up the good work😀👌😆

anyone asking them self what his homie from the beginning of the video does now? I mean he basically had tre flips down gaps at that time xD
love the new videos george! ❤️
12:24 nice Habitat t-shirt George :)
Okay the 2010 trick tip is actually better than Braille’s ( actual tips wise) if I saw that trick tip I think I would have gotten them so much faster
I dont know why but george lookin steezy as fuck today 😎
So cool to remember many of these, next treflip will go out to you 👊
Love this video's keep doing what your doing broooo💪
*whooii* *puuh* like Mario jumping on a Yoshi.
It's crazy seeing lil pre-pubescent, tiny George to big grown up steely tre-flip George, effortlessly.
I wish i would of stayed with it. I had no encouragement or friends that skate so I lost motivation, but since the quarantine I've picked it back up again
your so inspiring i’m trying to start youtube like you george 💝
Little George skating in his pjs is definitely me this whole week with not being able to leave the house due to quarantine and stuff ive just been practicing in my pajamas in the garage 😂
another sick video dude!
How many hours a day did u skate as a kid
damn i remember those old UA-cam times. late 2000's. i used to watch elementskater, fallenskater0, sk8rat (alex), Ellis Frost and many more "7 seconds" video youtubers just skating in their garage. and yes nike zoom tres were the shit. didn't know you were one of them

I just got back into skating after quitting two years ago . Wish me luck!
I wished you luck lol
The switch tre down the stairs was crazy
Was that clip in 2016 at Rockwell in Bristol CT?
This motivated me to go out and try them
I am a 14 year old girl and I landed my first tre in november (it was a 270 one) and I had times when I could do them alright now I'm always loosing them on flat but I can do them way better on ramps (to fakie), out of a ramp or down boxes and it is always way more fun

I've been waiting for you to post for too long

George I can’t get the kickflip in my tres any advice?
do you go to wesleyan?
I want to get better at skating but all the parks around me are just shit what should I do
Interesting you say about the equal pressure on each foot
my kickflips keep coming and going like your tres. but I’m trying tre flips now and I’m getting one foot constantly
Holy fuck, that tre flip trick tip video is a memory i didnt even know i had lmao.
Makes me real disappointed in myself that i quit skating back in the day. I had such a passion for it as a kid and I got into the wrong group in highschool amd there went that passion. Starting over again at 23 isnt easy makes me just wish I stuck with it
Bro 51 and maplewood skatepark are technically my local skateparks!
Tuned in💯❤️
I don’t know how to tre and it almost feels impossible to learn tres with an 8.25 board and 149 indys
i got my tres after a long time of learning them, on an 8.25 board. learn 3 shuvs and varial flips, and they will be easy. message me for tips
I learned tres on an 8.3 it’s definitely doable
Good video man❤😻
5 days ago i started learning this trick i landed the first one 3 days ago (notice ive been skating for 2-3 years) and i my flip and scoop is amazing the only problem is the commitment. I push my self to land one everyday since the day i got the first one and well it takes me to 1-2 hours to land it just bc my low commitment level
I'm still trying to learn treflips. I cant get the scoop right.
George i want back Fortune Skateboards te chris piere the one you Used last time kn Deck setup where it was end senior year
I’m trying to land tres right now. I can only get my back foot on and the board won’t do the full flip. Any help? Update: I can get the full rotation but only land 1 foot
UPDATE 2: I landed it but with a big fat toe touch

Clayton Kavaloski thanks
i don't usually watch videos longer than 10 mins but damn I just watched this whole thing without realizing how long it was
That mic is nice damn!
What shoe size are you?
Haven't watched through yet, but is that George without a helmet in the thumbnail?
Correct. I started wearing a helmet determinately around 2017
@@georgepoulos Oh, that makes sense. Only started watching you about 5 months ago.
How old are you when you learnt the Varial flip
hey do u use more loose or tight trucks
I'd say they are right in between
Okay

Lmfao Young Weezy
You face right when you said that tells me you completely forgot about that persona haha
I’m struggling with tres right now actually
Keep trying!
George Poulos yeah I can flip the tre every time but I just need to work on trying to shove it forward
You’re the goat George
Can anyone help with my heelflips, they keep doing the rotation, but going behind me. PLEAEE HELP!!
George can you make how to videos and in them say what makes it easier for you. I know you made shove it, Ollie and kickflip but maybe you could do some others thanks
Tre Flips are such a weird trick. Learning them is hard and long but once you get them their super easy
Can you show us your book collection? Pls 😊
that was a nice progression! Hope I could have the same... idk why but I cannot tre like the board is always doing a varial double or triple flip when I commite and I just don't know why it's so frustrating! Plz guys help me on that on...
