I just got a friends old 1050 ti and I was having FPS issues until I turned off the Dynamic Lights setting on 117HD and it immediately stabilized to 60 FPS.
This is cool. I've been playing osrs here and there but you know what I would love to see. If they had an option to move to RuneScape 2 graphics (2008) if I'm not mistaken. Those were the good days.
For those giving this a try, I found xbr looked much better than anything else. I am playing on stretched mode, 55% with modern resizable and xbr is best option
Nice video bro, i have also made tons of HD runelite vids in spanish,,, but i have a 6800xt 16gb ' large version" which has a bit higher fps then the 3080 and a i5 9600k and lately the fps are dropping to 30 idk what is happening :/
Great tutorial, quick and straightforward. Tip for anyone on a super budget setup: when deciding what to turn off to improve performance shadows and liquid detail are THE most taxing settings on your GPU. Start with those. 9 times out of 10 you can turn off just those 2 and reach your fps target. I'm fortunate enough to have an up to date setup, but not everyone is and that's okay.
I prefer using the regular HD plugin in RuneLite. I believe the 117HD makes OSRS look too polished and takes away from its unique charm. However, if it suits your preferences, then it is a good option for you.

they do. it’s a different client called OSHD. it’s also approved by jagex but doesn’t have as many plugins as runelite.

After years of playing normal osrs graphics it blows my mind how much upgraded graphics bring whole new life to the game
I get around 30 fps with these settings at G.E. in a low pop world w/3070 ti
i wish somebody would add a plugin for pre eoc soundtracks. That would make runlite hd feel like a close recreation of 2010 scape

Took me a while to figure out that winter theme is not just a seasonal bs and can be switched off manually.
How are you getting such high fps I have a 3060? i was getting 90-120 then it drop and stayed at a solid 60fps also what about fps control?!?!?

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but that option is no longer there, 117's hd plugin seems to be gone now. Was there yesterday but it's gone now.
