The best interview with Chet I've come across and he appears to be completely sober and lucid. I like that his mind was not polluted with pop music. He's pure jazz!

Chet had a chance to meet and play briefly with Jaco Pastorious formerly of Weather Report. Chet was pretty shocked at Jaco's overindulgences and was concerned for Jaco's well being. Coming from Chet that means something.
