this playlist came at a perfect time for me... i'm 24 now and staying at my parents house for vacation. it's been a few years since i moved out, and sometimes the burden of being an adult is just too much and i want to go back to how it was in 2011... playing pokemon white on my ds while sitting in the back of the car, not having to worry about anything in the world. being on vacation has given me some time to just be a kid again; doing stuff like going shopping with my mom, visiting the aquarium... it's nice to just be a kid again sometimes. even though my life and the world has changed quite a bit since i was 10/11, listening to this playlist and being on a family vacation has let me experience some of that childhood joy and peace again, even if just for a few days. 💞
