High Elves were a great looking army but I always preferred their darker cousins the Dark Elves and I will probably do a Druchii army in the Old World. That and a Chaos army since I also loved these since 6th edition.

Great channel & vid. I played one of the main enemies of the High Elves; Dwarfs 😅. Had a small army for 7th/8th WHFB. Favourite model is surprisingly not Dwarf but the Empire Steam Tank.

I got into Warhammer through Total War so I missed out one every single one of these models and I'm so sad I did. Really hope with Old World's release they start re-releasing these models so I can make an army of them. Would be immensely sad if they don't, Imrik on the dragon is so cool
Total War has breathed some life back into WHFB. I feel like if there is enough interest over launch GW will start rereleasing most armies kits and eventually new armies (Chaos dwarves 🤞🤞🤞). I have a feeling they will rerelease most of the 7th and 8th edition plastic kits which were great!

I just hope it's not overpriced like it was in 8th ed. If you comparedd the prices then to 40k you'd see End TImes weren't the only thing that killed Fantasy, it was the price.

Great stuff! I did the same kind of process last year but with the Vampire Counts (couldn't afford an army as a kid), still working on them to prep for the old world and also started playing 8th ed with few friends. Looking forward to your next videos!

I had a an earlier version of Prince Imrik and Dragon. I couldn’t get the wings to stay on! I’d like to see a video of you paint that model so I can see how I should of done it. Great channel.

I love the Lion Chariot of Chrace and Korhil. In 8th you could take a chariot as his mount! I only have one of each however, so I can’t glue Korhil down to either an actual base or the chariot, I have to keep swapping him. Hopefully he’ll be re-released with the Old World (along with the chariot) so I can finally get permanent positions for him!
My personal favourite High Elf model would have had to be the Merwyrm! (If that counts.) Only one I've painted is the Teclis you showed, and I have the Island of Blood set on sprues. Lovely collection!

I have 2x the original Imrik - somehow the second rendition doesn't do it for me - I think it's the big horn, but glad you are in love with it!! I was so stoked when I got my Eltharion on Griffon as that was my 'It' model from the day. Feel for you with your Tyrion though, thankfully mine never broke it's sword, though I did have to get a replacement Teclis as his staff top and sword have been lost to the mists of time. You've made me think I need that elven hero with bow though!

Nothing a bit of glue and green stuff can’t fix 😎 The Elven hero with a bow is a beautiful sculpt, looking forward to getting some paint on it 🙌
I think late 6th edition and 7th edion white metal minis were the pinacle of miniatures design and 6th edition imrik and tyrion are some of the best. I just bought some of the Last Iteration of plague censer bearers out of metal (which are quite hard to find) and was struck in awe Just of degree of details and overall worthyness.

It’s so weird because I feel like your Warhammer life mirrors my own so closely, similar age, into fantasy, prefer 90’s sculps etc. I always wanted a high elf army as a kid but couldn’t afford it, and was always daunted by painting them. Got back into the hobby after 20+ years a year or two ago and am collecting my childhood dream army. Your vids have helped really getting me back into high elves specifically. So Thankyou! (They’re still a bugger to paint though!)

The new HE Sculpts, which came out in the 7th or 8th Ed fit so perfectly to the old Range. All in all, the HE are one of the most beautiful armys in the Warhammer World ❤ Your Paintjob is great and give them the respect they deserve. What's the name of the cool song?

You can’t go wrong with both of those armies! Especially the Druchii. I always loved their cold one mounts and assassin models 🙌
Have you considered doing any conversions to make your own high elves? For example, make a dragon out of dinosaur models and add an elven rider?
Hey mate! No not just yet, but that is a great idea! I have been looking at doing a pretty silly conversion to an old dwarf mini for the channel.

Base size. Old World said infantry are going to be on 25mm bases, no more 20mm. Looking good though!

HE were my childhood army but as I grew up and became a man I became a man of the Empire.
