The last non-2 night Wrestlemania (for now) was Wrestlemania 35. I was there. It, was sooooo lonnnnnggggg. It was around 7 hours (including the pre-show like 8 but I'll include it bc that's when Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins won the tag titles to a hug pop especially for a pre-show match) but they paved the show great. Brock and Seth started it, Kofi Bryan was in the middle and the women's Triple threat was at the end. Crowd was kinda dead for the main event until Becky won which was crazy. But now I'm goin to Wrestlemania this year and I'm really hype about it.
No it wasn't, at least the match was decent, had a finish, and was a reasonable main event considering the status of the three man involved, WM 27 had none of that

I watched it twice and it was perfect. This man was born to be a heel. He just destroyed Undertaker in The Shield and less than a calendar year later, he's a "I can do no wrong" babyface? They wanted him to be visually aesthetic by telling him to wear colored prescription contacts. He looks, sounds, and walks like a badass, but was a cheesy babyface. 2017 should've been the year to turn him heel or at least plant seeds. After his Mania match with Drew, should've kept planting those malicious seeds. In his feud with Corbin leading into the original match with Goldberg, he talks his shit to Corbin and cuts the same promo he did to Goldberg at the beginning of the pandemic. He leaves, comes back as a heel like he did. By planting those seeds, you can tell it's coming; a moment where Reigns finally snaps and make everyone that boo him suffer until they acknowledge his greatness. He's a true megastar now and if there is a face turn down the line, he shouldn't be all smiles like in 2014-15. He needs to carry the same energy into feuds when he's a face again so it's an organic face reaction.
Fun fact about the Main Event of Mania 32: I skipped it. Like, I watched the whole show until the entrances, and then I turned off my computer and went to sleep, because I had seen everything I was interested in. I've never seen this match, and I never will.

Hot damn. I just realized what could have been added to this year's Lesnar/Reigns #3 match - Imagine if it was an I Quit match. For all of the buildup that's gone on these past few months for this feud, the stipulation feels like it could be right at home, even more so than a possible First Blood stipulation. Maybe it doesn't necessarily need a stipulation, but the past two meetings at 'Mania between the two didn't have stipulations either. 31 had the Rollins cash-in to be sure, but straight 1v1 at 34. Just feels like perhaps a 3rd Normal match could be boosted up with something a bit more than unifying the titles. Let's just hope that the title belt gets a makeover because for fucks sake am I tired of 4 near identical Championships between the Raw/Smackdown Men's/Women's belts.
On the WrestleMania being too long deal, yes, two nights is better, but is 13 matches necessary? You have a stacked high roster, yet there are 4 matches include two matches with non industry celebrities in them, one with an announcer, and one involving someone who hasn't been in the ring in 17 years, in what will nothing more than a confrontation & two minute? fight. I enjoyed Austin and Roddy Piper, but why this??

And no one at the time wanting Roman to go over. But he did and they tried to make it his crowning moment but it was met with massive deafening boos 👎
