Ah yess been trying to find this guy for the past two weeks. I remember last year i watch this guys early draft picks best strategy. I had the first pick and i followed this guys strategy and i was predicted to come last with this strategy and i ended up winning it and being in first place since week 4 only losing one game. I trust this guy all day every day
Watching this makes me feel good because it shows that my drafting instincts aren’t awful, but in areas they can definitely improve Started a 1.01 draft w/ CMC, Moore, D. Smith, Lamar and ETN. Prolly should’ve taken Andrews for the stack, but I felt ETN was undervalued as a 5th RP imo. Still getting used to the concept of WR>everything in Underdog, but I’m having fun building unique teams based on ADP falls and taking risks
London is being over-valued imo, Cousins is coming off an Achilles injury and that offense will run through Bijan. Its also a completely different system than Minnesota which was pass heavy with O'Connell. I guess I'd rather just take someone like Deebo who has already produced in an elite offense as opposed to an unknown that could be a bust.
Aiyuk possibly leaving would improve deebo. London is good but man I'm nervous. He hasn't had even mediocre QB play... At the same time, G Wilson hasn't either and is a fantastic wr, and his o line isn't nearly as good as ATL. I'm more confused on London than before I started comment.
@ravenx25 all those 2nd rd receivers are a toss up honestly. I'm not high on London but I'd definitely take him over deebo. Deebo gets hurt alot and with cmc the RB it takes away those points deebo use to get. Honestly I'm taking Taylor or or Gibbs in the 2nd if they fall to me.
@@richierich4330 agree with all takes. All the LATE second rounders are iffy wr. I've been off the deebo train for a while, but shanny offense is a good one to buy into... Someone is ending up in the end zone.
Thank you for this video. I am in a 10 man league and with your strategy, I could get josh jacobs and Ken Walker in the 4-5 turn while taking CMC and 2 wr in the first 3 rounds. I still think the rb in 2-3 turn is better value than wr though.
A few reasons. One is that all WRs starting in that range come with more unknowns. Adams is old, Olave hasn’t put it all together yet and has more QB concerns. Deebo and Aiyuk eat into each others workload. Nico has 2 other stars to contend with. MHJ is a rookie. So it’s not like there are other locked in options. Also, when you project out the offense, he can only have so low of a target share given how condensed things are. So when you add in the massive increase in passing, and likely increase in efficiency, he does grade out at the top of that second tier of WRs
@@FantasyFootballAdviceFFA I would also add in that Zac Robinson was the QB coach and WR coach for the Rams when Kevin O'Connell was the OC, then became passing game coordinator after O'Connell left and both developed under Sean McVay. Obviously different guys inherently have different levels of skill and intelligence and just because they come from the same system doesn't mean they are interchangeable, but I think we can see a lot of similarities in what they are likely going to want to do on the football field, especially since the HC is from the Rams as well. London is too talented with the potential positive changes going on to dismiss. Obviously he isn't a lock and I wouldn't draft him on a ton of teams, but I feel you need some exposure to him.
@@matthewdennis1739 right, there’s the shift in play calling identity that we’re expecting. No guarantee that Robinson is even close to as good as McVay, but there’s a high likelihood he’s a big step up from Arthur Smith
@@FantasyFootballAdviceFFA Yeah, not saying he'll be as good as McVay, or even O'Connell but similar concepts and principles and just being 75% of either of those guys would be a huge boost for the Falcons passing offense.
Probably not...but that would depend on a lot of factors, what WRs are available, what RBs are available, what are the replacements you can find later on, etc. PPR obviously encourages WR...but if you're getting a high catch RB like McCaffrey or Gibbs and then getting guys like Tank Del or Diontae Johnson later in the draft it could work out pretty well. Every change in factors involved will change the equation as far as what is optimal.
I love watching these strategy videos, and I know we need to adjust to our specific situations. But I just know that all of my hometown leagues will throw these situations out of the window immediately lol
Yeah me too, but I think the lesson I've learned is to take advantage of other people's weird choices and the values that open up for me. If everyone wants to take QB in the first round, I'll happily go Lamb/CMC at the turn haha.
You are definitely stacked at RB with McCaffrey and Henry but the problem with that build is it cripples you at WR. London is good but his success hinges on the health of Cousins and Diggs is going to be playing second fiddle to either Nico or Tank. Way too many mouths to feed in Houston...
Agreed on Diggs. I don't know there are any WRs at the spot where he took Henry I'd be confident in being elite at WR though. Might just be better to take the chance on Henry going crazy and being a top-5 RB and patching the WR spot with later WR options with upside than trying to take a WR in that range that is going to likely give you less than Henry. That of course will also potentially be dependent on whether it's full or half PPR.
When I first started drafting I was able to get CD,Wilson,Puka & Aiyuk or London on several teams but each draft is getting tougher now. Even my RBs are good to above average with either Richardson or Murray at QB some teams both.✌️Latley been getting like Chase,AJ & Kupp or Flowers.

He’s not. Nobody is taking Drake London, Pittman, Deebo over King Henry.

I won my competitive 12 man PPR league last year because of your knowledge. Thank you!
Do these strategies apply to ppr leagues, generally?
Excited to see the ADPs of redraft leagues in a few weeks. I think it's going to be very telling
I'll never take Diggs.I own zero shares in best ball mania..
I’d maybe try not to get 0%, but I’m underweight there as well
Is there any other WR on Atlanta that cousins could potentially get a better connection with?
The Moo brothers Moo-ney and Moo-re 🤣🤣🤣💀
Last year I drafted a kicker first round.. I only won 2 games I need help..
You gotta switch your strategy up my guy. Defense wins championships!

Quick question, why is the industry ranking drake london so high? I feel weary, drafting him anywhere in the second or third round.
I kind of feel the same, then look at the other WR going in the same range and honestly I don't feel much better about most of them.

Did a draft where I went team Balt. Ended up with Henry , Lamar, Flowers, Balt. def. and mother Tucker.
I have all access on the website where is this feature that tells you optimal position to pick and are you filling this out as you draft
It’s under the “draft content” tab. I believe it says Draft Strategy App
Would the RB/WR/RB strategy still be optimal in a PPR format?

Optimum “optimality” bro! 😂 Love your analysis.

Derrick Henry & Stefon Diggs makes me cringe as the starters on this roster.

Henry is good value in 3rd. Diggs in 4th isn’t bad eithwr
