  • How to you make the most of your money when going to the casino? The answer is simple, sign up for their player's club card. With these cards you will earn points that can earn you some kind of reward. These rewards are things like freeplay, comped hotel rooms, discounted dining, invitations to slot tournaments, and much more. For this video I use MGM's Mlife program as an example and explain some of the rewards for each tier of the program. To see a complete list of the tiers and their rewards click the link below,

Thank you for watching the video, have a great day!
I have been going to casinos since the day I turned 21, and have a huge love for playing slots. Every time I go to the casino I take with me a specified amount of money based on my budget. While slots can be fun and provide a good payday, the casinos always have the advantage and that must be kept in mind. If you like to gamble as well, please remember to budget wisely, and to play responsibly!

You know before I found Vegas about 2 years ago I would run marathons to get away. Then I would go to beaches in Florida and found that I was just sitting around. As you said I was spending about 500 to 1000 dollars, food hotels etc.. Then I found Vegas. Great place for me to go solo. Always great for people watching. Weather so far for me has been exceptional. Can't complain. Next trip in a few months.

Great informative vlog! I got a tier match from my Caesars Diamond card to MLife Gold a couple of months ago. Before that I was Pearl as I am a veteran so I got upgraded through that. I got about 30,000 tier points in two trips but if I go next month there is no way I can gamble enough to get the additional 45,000 points to make Gold.
Is the MLife program like Caesars in that my Gold card expires the end of January and my tier points go back to zero?
An interesting point to me anyway is that years ago I had a very good run on dollars slots and gambled quite a bit at Bellagio. Now when I get my offers unless it is a very busy period, my room comp offers at Bellagio are a lesser price than Aria, Vdara, etc..it will be interesting to see what happens when Cosmo is in the mix. Those balcony rooms are really something.
I just got back and it is interesting how the Gold status works at the restaurants. At Primrose they were actually quite rude in stating the card means nothing and having to wait about 45 minutes. At LaLa noodle they were quite nice and it was all "yes sir" we will get you right in. The food there is quite fantastic by the way.
    Thanks.

Hey, thanks for the kind words! As far as using your card to get into restaurants, it can be really hit or miss if they will put you further on the list or not. I am sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience at Primrose though. The MLIFE Program earning period is between January 1st through December 31st, and whatever tier level you earn enough points for during that time will take place on February 1st and last till January 31st of the next year. If you are currently gold and you end up with more than 25,000 points but less than 75,000 points when the earning period ends on December 31st then you will be a pearl member starting February 1st 2022 and your points will reset to zero. You will then have from January 1st 2022- December 31st 2022 to earn points for 2023. If during that time you earn more than 75,000 points you will be able to move up to Gold again for the remainder of the 2022 year as well as all of 2023. I hope this helps you out! Also I am super excited to see how they throw in offers at Cosmo, those rooms are very nice and it will be awesome if we can get comped offers for those too!

@@TravelWithParker Thanks for the info. I thought that was how things worked as it is like the Caesars program except that Diamond members don't pay the infamous resort fees. Good luck on your next trip. Keep that long hair! I have been losing mine since college and am very envious. Hah!

M Life has tier matching with World of Hyatt so if you currently have M Life Gold status, you can status match with Hyatt and then do the reverse in Feb when M Life starts over. The same thing can be done with Caesars and Wyndham as well.

When I spend money In mgm restraunts do I give them my mlife card too?

I always do. Depending on the restaurant, they will sometimes give a discount depending on the teir you are. Also, if you save your receipts and take them to the mgm rewards desk at the end of your stay, they will add points to your account for the money you spent there. (Unless you used an mgm rewards Mastercard to pay, then the points get added automatically)

Even better would be to charge it to your room and speak to a host when you check out to see if there are any charges they can take care of

Card level really means nothing at mlife I’ve been platinum for about 5 years it’s nothing special, everything is based on your most recent play , there’s no special treatment I can’t even get my host to respond to text or emails, as far as the gift shop that has to be redeemed in person within a 2 week period usually last week of November- 1st week of December, the free cruise is not free you pay taxes and port fees about $450 per person for a 5 day cruise, there’s comp rooms , free play , and casino credit , for your play , I would say once you reach 75,000 gold level at mlife get a Cesar’s card to expand your options

Hey, im sorry to hear that you haven't noticed differences on card level, or that your host doesn't reply to you. I dont have a host so I have no experience with that, I did however just hit platinum and I noticed a difference in checking in they offered to bring me drinks while I waited, they were more friendly and helped my family and I all get nice rooms for little to no fees each. They also gave me some free passes to the roller coaster or a couple other attractions of my choosing which was nice because I go with some family members that aren't 21 yet. It's not like they are handing me money and bottles of alcohol, but they do seem to take me more serious and try harder to make sure I have a great stay. I expect that the cruise will still have fees as it's comped rooms, just like how some of the deals for comped rooms in the casinos will still have resort fees. Personally I stick mainly with mlife because for the amount of money I spend I find that I receive more, and better offers than when I have played at other properties. To each their own though. I just made this video to inform about what their website says about each level and why everyone should use a players card.

@@TravelWithParker I’m also platinum.. but m-life- now mgm rewards has went to complete 💩. They just removed all dedicated lines unless you are Noir …they’ve taken away way too much. Caesars diamond status treats me SOOOOO MUCH BETTER. I’m so done with mgm rewards. I’ll maintain a gold status for free valet and comped Bellagio stays, being my favorite rooms… but yea!, they’ve totally taken too much away at this point. It’s sad

@@raqueladauto7309 Yes, there have been alot of changes. I have not been going to vegas as often because the deals aren't the same as they used to be. This video is from when they were mlife, but mgm rewards is completely different. I will have to make a updated video going over how the new program works and what my thoughts about it are in the near future.
