Just wanted to throw up this "up to date" (no pun intended), raw vlog for three reasons:

Not all filipinos celebrate monthsaries mostly younger ones they are doing it but still many filipinos celebrates anniversaries just as you do in canada and yes kulas it will be a great idea about your plan of doing inspirational stop there so many will learn about what you are doing travelling in the Philippines i hope it will become a reality and that will be one of your major contribution here in the Philippines aside from making us happy 😀

Yes kulas. Me and my wife still celebrating monthsary. Feb 25 when she said yes to me to be my girlfriend. So every 25th of the month we celebrate our monthsary. Then we got married after 9 yrs. its april 25 so every april 25 we celebrate our wedding aniversary and monthsary. And we still counting our monthsary aniversary which is feb 25 because still part of our life. We will never get to this point in our relationship if not because of that day. Celebrate love.

I used to have that endearment before with one of my ex's since she started calling us with that "Gang" thing. It came from "Palangga" or "Pangga" which means he/she is your most treasured possession. I think what they were trying to say about "Gang" ang "Ginang" is you turn your "Gang" into a "Ginang" since "Ginang" means a married woman. When a woman still single and unmarried she is called "Binibini", Kulas.

Monthsary exists in the Philippines since 90's. I think either TGIS (Thank God it's Saturday) or Tabing ilog show dati ang nagpauso ng monthsary.

One of my exs celebrated monthsaries. I added one rose every month, so it went from 1 rose (first month) to a dozen roses (1 year). I thought once we hit a year, we didn't have to do monthsaries anymore.... I was wrong.
