Been really enjoying playing online. Mostly Charizard and Gardivour decks. I miss playground pokemon though. Decks weren't good, let alone optimized, we just played for fun.
Love the dragapult variants, but I've had most success playing dragapidgeot. How do you feel about its position in the shrouded fable format/the current format? Would love to hear your opinion!
I bought gard and lugia vstar (and a bunch of extra cards to play/test out in those 2 decks), and imo the winner will prob be lost box, gard, or charizard.
Bro, I like your channel, but hear me out. Even though there are results in Japan already, you can't just take it as a meta for the whole world, it's a totally different format, just see what happened in NAIC. Dragapult was so hyped and didn't perform so well, of course a sniping deck would dominate a best of 1 format. I like to test with proxies ahead of the new sets to see the potential of new strategies, but it's too early to predict performance, we don't even have the confirmation of the entire list of cards yet. I know hype is something natural, but this is just overhyping.
putting miriadon on B tier is strange considering its worst case cenario 50/50 matchup against garde and chari and favorable matchup about 70/30 against lugia...
@@elizabetho7580 it seems pretty consistent and overall matchup spread is good except for Garde. Can be won if highroll early tho or just tech in jam tower and vacuum
@@ricecake1814 Gardevoir is a terrible matchup for Raging Bolt, almost unwinnable in a Best of 3 especially vs Worlds-caliber players on Gardevoir. It's also not great into Charizard, and mirror match is a coinflip which never feels good. But it's probably the fastest and most consistent deck in the format so you can win games through that
I LOVE Dialga! Personally, I think it’s control/Snorlax matchup that makes it suffer unfortunately. Maybe a switching pokemon like Gengar PAF or Minior PAR could work
Gardevoir is a Tier S deck and will be at the top 2 this Worlds 100%, unless another expansion with something crazy is launched by then. Garde + Box + Raging Bolt will be the top tier ones
Garde and LB will definitely stay very relevant, however I feel like Garbolt is very overhyped. When it runs well, it is definitely strong, but if that opener is bad it can be tough to catch back up against a lot of the control variants in the meta. Deck is definitely fun, but has felt very inconsistent and the NAIC only had one break top 16 iirc.
It’s so dumb how they clearly are designing cards to perfectly hit the right numbers for an OHKO. Charizard + Dusclops = turn two 340 damage. It’s so painfully obvious what they’re doing and it’s stupid that any card should be allowed to hit 340 turn 2.
My boy is disrespecting the Hourglass! Anything with discarding energy now gets an energy back with the new tool. This helps Raging Bolt and Chien Pao keep more energy on the field. Dialga and Greninja ex also benefit but I don’t think it suddenly fixes those decks.
Yeah but those decks have sufficient energy acceleration already. Chien has Bax which can burst unlimited energy into play and Bolt can burst 4-5 energy into play in one turn.
Hi Joshua~ Just wanted to ask how to win against a control with raging bolt, I'm suuuuuuper scared. I'm not going to worlds and I could 100% change my mind on what to play, but that's just something I was thinking about
I don't think it's that bad of a matchup. Purely because the Raging Bolt deck is super fast. The one prize Sandy Shocks is a nice addition to help against Mimikyu from the Control deck. Also be sure to play Super Rod as well so you can recover the Sandy Shocks. Tip of the day: Try to hunt after the Pidgey before it has the chance to evolve 😉
Snorlax has troubles with Lugia. Also the new Pecharunt ex will be included in Zard lists making the matchup unwinnable. It's just a theory but I think Snorlax block will not do well at Worlds.
@Abdelkader-xf2ey There are very few scenarios where you wanna use Scoop Up over the other two Ace-Specs. You also don't get those situations in which you want to use Iono/Boss while also needing a way to recycle your mon. You could just play Collapsed Stadium so it doesn't take up your ace-spec. Going against the meta doesn't mean you gotta play suboptimal cards.

Placing Dipplin at the Don't' Play just because of Zard is kinda weird when it can pretty much handle a lot of the A-C decks
It's because of Flutter Mane and this is from someone who was hyped for Dipplin before its release

Great list! I would like to see new archetypes pop off, I'm tired of gardy and charizard dominating
Lmfao, came here after buying my first deck knowing you'd slap it in 'dont play this' .
This thorns disrespect is too much here. If the room is ability rulebox heavy the deck just waltzes through...
right, he said matchup dependant, but in the top 10 maybe 2 decks don't mind. But you are a control deck on top of that to hammer the beat down decks
i think gardie takes a step back because of zard. i think zard with the dusknoir line will farm gardie
The list is fine I guess. But there's two things I would change: 1. I don't think United Wings will do too much.. 😅
2. You forgot Dragapult Pidgeot!
He's so blinded by his own hype that he forgot Dragapult also gets support, and that united wings even with new cards is still a pile.

at 8:02 - What card does he say can one shot special energy?
Chien pao is a tier s as people with zero skill can win with it.
Where are you seeing these Japan list, I see no results on limitless
Limitless isn't the only place to look. Google "pokecabook" and "pokecardlab" for Japanese tournaments.

Raging bolt looks super good for worlds
With the new ursaluna for sure, I don't know why japanese players are not using it more.
Why do you say that?

kingdra should be here A or B it did win a gym league
super curious on how well a zard with dusknoir will do at worlds 👀

Btw just sharing this video with my team 💪😎
Love the content
People sleep on future hands for real, definitely with the integration of iron Thorns! But I love it 😂
I’m missing lost zone dragapult
what is the number of the haxorus he mentioned?

I don't think it will see play in Bolt, you really need the extra HP, and you have so much energy acceleration with ogerpons and Ursaluna.
Wings 🥳

I’m feeling unfair stamp for gardy

We need a new poke rap song 😤
How is garde c
He will be dar
I think scoop up cyclone in gardevoir
😊
That doesn't sound very good, only mons I would use Scoop Up on are Gardevoir and Greninja. At that point just play Turo's Scenario.
But sometimes you have to play an iono or a boss and you can’t use turo I just like going against the meta

Dude you're so handsome I could watch you talk about TCG all day.
I play future iron thorns ex deck and it’s solid build overall, very few match ups I struggle against unless I brick which is rare.
Tierlists are so overrated, every channel does it.
Constantly having recent ones is nice
