A couple of those neighborhoods were definitely seedy looking. The first few were really nice though. It’s sad they act a fool instead of just enjoy living in a place as beautiful as AK.
Yeah, the first group of neighborhoods were the ones with the most murders last year. Murders don't always mean bad neighborhoods like in Chicago.
true story man
As a life long Alaskan who lives in Anchorage, you can go downtown at night, by yourself, and be fine. These numbers are just scary because how small our population is.
That’s the same thing I was thinking. One crime and your numbers turn to a** because of the small pop.
Most of anchorages crime stuff, is revolves around illicit drug trade. If you mind your business you can go just about anywhere with out any issue. If your hanging around thugs that’s when your going to find trouble.
@@AkPacerPilot yea exactly.
Facts
These are actually some of the nicer neighborhoods here lmao. The city is sketch but numbers don't tell the full story.
Miami dade county is a 3rd world country compared to alaska
I’m out side
Wow, who would have thought a place as cold as Alaska would be suprisingly sunny.
We have regular seasons like anyone else. It's only cold during the winter. Alaska is known as the land of the midnight sun. Because in the summer, the sun does not go down.
Good only send their street view cars here during the pleasant months
I live in between Russian jack and north east
Whats that like?
Algorithm is a dancer.
Was that ABBA or Ace of Base?
@@davidvonkettering204 I think it was, KC and the Sunman band.
@@simoncolton3654 "Rhythm Is a Dancer" is a song by German Eurodance group Snap!, released in March 1992. I think I recognized the line from Ace of Base "Had another Daydream". (This is what makes Google useful)
@@davidvonkettering204 Google is the enemy of sarcasm. Also it is racist.
@@simoncolton3654 Calls me "Kracker" all the time! I hate that!
Present
Mr. Presentdent!
I haven't been downtown in 11 years.
I went to koladi brothers cafe in Alaska
Usa made car in omiya city. Damoso
How can you live in a place so beautiful and be so violent? The environment in itself is majestic with magnificent and extreme landscapes.
That's how I feel about fresno and the rural area around it. Both cities are actually very peaceful. They just have lower populations
So us usa car in Tokyo
Big problem in AK are Samoan gangs and Jamaicans bringing that stuff up to Anchorage. It’s a huge problem. Ruined parts of Anchorage and terrorizing whole schools and established meth labs in the beautiful Valley.
Its a shame. The state of Alaska is beautiful
I’m not saying that people aren’t victims of random crime, but most of the gang problems in Alaska stays pretty much around just that. Ie if you hang with thugs, there’s a good chance you’ll be a victim of crime. For the average person in Alaska, even in “Los Anchorage” if you surround yourself with good people, don’t partake in the illicit drug trade, don’t go shutting the bars down, don’t hang out with thugs… you’ll find yourself not being a victim of anchorage crime.
The problem is white trash tweakers and alaska natives getting drunk LOL dont blame Samoans or Jamaicans for anchorage being garbage
The meth problem was brought up by the whites and Jamaican and Samoan gangs is a joke sounds like some racist propaganda you spewing out there bud
