Today was the last day at home and Alyssa spent most of the day packing. Delilah is having surgery for her Chiari Malformation. We also light a few fireworks since she will be in the hospital for Independence Day. I also share some super easy vegan meal ideas for kids.

I love how she is so articulate with how she's feeling and you are such an amazing mommy. I'm not sure how you held it together when she said she was scared bc I was losing it over here. Xo

She really is so brave. She has been such a trooper and very calm about everything. It's amazing seeing the changes after surgery too. I definitely had my moments and cried often, but those last few days were very hard and she did see me cry, which is okay because it's all very scary.
