Tank is coming along veryyyy nicely! Btw, I spied a few Space Invader Pectinias frags in Lazy's Frag House tank... if you want something superrrr bright, those are the ones to get. One of my all time favorite corals.

Its an diy aquarium controller looks neat but wanted more info before decision as I'm ordering new toys for my 120 and taking down my 80. Me being a truck driver it's hard to be on UA-cam at times so I miss videos and having to catchup. As always be well
I’m not in the hobby as of now. Taking a bit of a break for half a year or so (though I’m certainly tempted to go back) Take this from my experience, when zoas grow on the base of Acros, or any SPS, they WILL kill them. Keep the zoas isolated in their own place. Some will overgrow eachother but for the most part, they’ll be intact

I recently found a nudibrach so I need to find something to take care of that problem first. Curious on your lighting schedule how long do you run the white lights?thanks and keep them comin

You should try viewing the aquarium with a tfton ( yellow) gel with blue lights on . Can show some cridders With biofluorescence. I have taken a couple of cool shots this way. Not that you want to sit around wearing yellow goggles all night lol, but can be interesting ..
At this point the 120g is starting to look like the JBJ CJ. As soon as them SPS starts to take off, then it'll look different. But none the less you're doing great! Much love to them candy! Stay Reefing and high 5! Mel

Like the lobo garden idea. Not a lot of places carry nice ones for godd prices like back in the day. Everyone is into making money off frags so that type of lps is less popular and way more expensive now. When I first got in the hobby You could get all kind of huge lobos for $70 at most now those same corals are hundreds of dollars on all these sites and the Los doesn't even get em unless someone is breaking down a tank.
The blues are slowly growing on me but it's just another milestone on the LED road to Skittle Land. Slowly isolating and fixing all variables so there's only one remaining ideally... But which of the one or two remaining can be as different as the Aquartist running the system. lol ;-) SKITTLES.
Can't wait to see everything grow in..just started working at my LFS and I love seeing how all those tiny frags end up looking in big tanks like this! (Skittles for the contest btw, SKiTTLES if we're being picky on capitalization ;) )
You should space out the euphyllia a little more. Once they start growing they gonna run out of room fast. And instead of calling it a torch garden...I used to call mine a "Torch Forrest" sounds way cooler lol👍

Quick question why do my torch and frogspawn coral retracts when my blue lights come on at night?
