By far my favorite Blaxplotation film of that era. Saw this one when it first came out in the movie theater of my hometown. Great storyline, great soundtrack, production value was good, not great, but better than what had been expected, and most of all, GREAT acting by some of our finest during this time. I also have a copy of the soundtrack (hard to find) on the original lp and download from itunes. The best 1972 had to offer next to Super Fly.
