I love the fact that there is a timer in the corner! It really puts into perspective how long things ACTUALLY take. When you watch hermitcraft, you are always like “How does he have an elytra after 20 mins of playing??” but in this series, you can see that it in fact takes more like 20 HOURS.
If you focus your resources on only getting an elytra it doesn’t take that long, but yeah I definitely can’t do it in 20 minutes. Maybe 2-3 hours if I am OK with dying several times lol :)

I don't know what the odds are, but it had to roll enchanted pick and then each of those enchantments at max level and not decide to stop the enchantment process when making that pick. All i know is that those odds are go buy a lottery ticket right now low.
Don't honestly, prot 4 without chestplate is op on its own, having a elytra ready means that you won't forget that you have ur chestplate on expecting to fly n falling flat, it also ensures you can fly out of danger at any moment

Tip: Piglin brutes are one of the few mobs that never spawn back after they are killed. Normal piglins do though.

Grian just a tip for the future, i dont know if you did this but calcite spawns much more comonly in stony peaks biomes so they are better for large scale collections of calcite then geodes.
Thank you for telling me this because I’m over here ripping apart geodes for their calcite.

i found otherside in my world becase my stronghold portal didnt link correctly so it teleported me into a cave with a dungeon and in the chests was otherside

I love how they all had the same exact reaction to the god pickaxe it was just a "WHUAAT" of disbelief
Yea, I don't get that. In each new world I start, one of my early priorities is to make a large villager trading hall with to make top-tier weapons, tools, and gear.
I was shocked as well. All those individual enchants on different pickaxes as loot was normal, but that's a god pick resting in a chest!
@@WanderingYankee its not that they are shocked by a pickaxe, its that the litteral perfect pickaxe spawned as chest loot.
I don't know what the odds are, but it had to roll enchanted pick and then each of those enchantments at max level and not decide to stop the enchantment process when making that pick. All i know is that those odds are go buy a lottery ticket right now low.
As an normal minecrafter, there is one thing you need to know about hardcore. A common sense rule that is. When ur not flying WEAR YOUR CHESTPLATE!!
Don't honestly, prot 4 without chestplate is op on its own, having a elytra ready means that you won't forget that you have ur chestplate on expecting to fly n falling flat, it also ensures you can fly out of danger at any moment

@@germans_lol7259 that's true, however to me I don't really see the use to it anymore when I find my elytra, I mostly just put it on for wither fights when I need more beacons. Then again I don't play hardcore but I don't recall dying in the past couple of weeks, thx 4 the tip tho
@@rio4651 i can see ur point, it does get risky however which is why i think grian should do this. Actually if anything this advice needs to be passed on to scar bc now he has an elytra.
