In my experience, those headsets (the original model JBL Quantum 100) after half a year broke in the parts where they can be rotated, so yeah, they are not that resistant, but the microphone is very good compared to other headphones, the audio quality is not that bad and improves a lot if you use an equalizer. I was able to fix them with glue and even after 1 and a half years I still use them and they still work. I would recommend them for the price, but they need to be taken care of to make them last longer.
For me, even though I attach the mic and all, my computer doesn't seem to accept the mic itself for some reason as if it never was attached. I don't know why it does that

same. find out any fixes? mine picks up the microphone but not the actual headphone part
@supersleezy I tried using an adapter and it didn't work well at all. Bought another headset and I'm fine now
