I was just laying in my bed thinking about about how disappointing some meals are when you go out. I was also thinking about how boring some menus are. The restaurants in my area aren’t overly reliable, and rarely do you find anything to get excited about. This got me thinking to what I’d put on the menu if I owned a restaurant. Then it occurred to me, “ why don’t I just learn to cook exciting meals?” This pork belly would excite me. I love sticky food. I’m cooking this ASAP.

In Denmark we have a very traditionel dish called "æbleflæsk" which literally translates into apples and pork belly. It's a thick and chunky apple sauce with fried pork belly eaten on rye bread! Very lovely, very traditionel
I made this last night and it was so good!! I did have to pour out some liquid and raise oven temp a bit to get nice colour on pork though. This is my fifth attempt at a Marion dish and they never disappoint!
Sticky BBQ pork bowl with rice, what a tasty meal for breakfast, ! I would love to have this dish in the morning before work starts... this dish satisfies my craving .

super duper yummy (everyone in my family loves it!) and it's quite an easy recipe (though I took quite a while because I don't have a stove-top safe oven pan and I have twice more pork lol)
We’ve just had some tonight and OMG! It was delicious. Our pork belly was not as brown as yours in the video 🤔 but everyone loved it… with a bit of Tanguy and sweet chilli jam 🌶
Hi Marion I picked up all the ingredients to make this delicious looking dish. I have a problem I don’t have a pan like this to use on the stovetop. I only have glass pans. What can I use instead.thank you
For me I like to line up my “fatty rind” meats side by side, skewer them together so they’re able to stand upright with the rind resting on the pan to render/colour the fat so it’s not wobbly white fat then take them out, separate then cook as normal.
Every weekend in our house I cook a Marion recipe and the family love it!

I have a glass top stove and i worry it would cook this unevenly. Any ideas or tips for doing this on a glasstop?
