I have never seen a band blow on alumni. It was like a heat seeking missle. Detecting anything that had to do with State on this song. How the directors know to blow on them I do not know.

Human Jukebox sets the bar HIGH. SU has had some of the coldest arrangements dating back to the 80's. Section leaders, assistant band directors put in work.
And a SERIOUS a*s pedigree because every band director was once a member of the HUMAN JUKEBOX. No outsider, at least from 1969 has ever held a position w/the band. Only Jukebox graduates are hired to work w/band. I often notice how Southern's band members react differently to their band directors. Almost familial.
But REAL TALK! I Don't Care, what school you Went to, Marched in, high school or College, Spectated games/Bands, you KNOW YOU Rocking when, when you're at an"Away" game, and the whole stadium rocking to every song the away band plays and not your own💪🏽💯😳............ That's the Reason why, "WE" (Band as a whole, from Directors as the way down to Instruments, and auxillary), Play .
I can't believe that someone filmed this and left the building w/it. ASU should have seized & destroyed this recording. There's a lot to say but I'ma limit myself to talking about the Hornet Mascot. That right there what he does, how long he stands in front of SU while they are BLOWING. He's mesmerized, hypnotized by their awesomeness. He lost his way home. Forgot his identity. He was stuck in the honey-trap of The Human Jukebox. Poor thang! He reminds me of Mr. Bean the way he kinda hung around like he couldn't decide what to do about the shame being rained down on ASU. BEFUDDLED! He notices them @ 1:30, @2:46 he turns around to see what the ASU band is about, & then he tries to leave @3:35 but then got trapped again.
I just found out that SU band is being brought up on 1st degree Murder charges for the Murdering of Alabama State band & their student section. I think the video is clear they are guilty.lol😂😂
