Truly Italy and France are big players if it comes to beautiful landscape and city culture. But i feel like germany is highly underestimated. There's way more than just Berlin... from cute little medieval towns and castles, to stunning lakes surrounded by majestic mountains. Just take a stop here :)
Northern Europe wins when it comes to put professional life, convenience, order/corruption, accessibility and networks. Less depts and healthier economics
Germany is not underestimated, it has just enormously less preserved monuments because of WW2.
i totally agree and i am dutch..LOL
My favourite is Spain
@@bjorgcarlson without any doubt, me personally just can't talk much about Spain compared to the other countries. It's still on my travel to do list :)
Spain is by far my favourite country in Europe and maybe un the world. Loving and learning Spanish language as well
Me too
You would probably not think so when you actually live there. The economic struggles are always there, the enormously time-consuming bureaucracy and the fact everybody is napping in the afternoon makes it almost impossible to ever achieve something fast. But I guess if you like to relax and have a: let's think about it tomorrow-mentality, it can be great.
@@thejason347" the fact everybody is napping in the afternoon..." sorry but this is the most famous myth about Spain
@@alvarpalenciadieguez9724 Well, they might not actual nap but they sure like to close the shops.
@@thejason347Nobody in Spain takes a "siesta" except on vacation. The shops close from 2 in the afternoon to 4 because people go home to eat with their families. It's called "labor rights" and living for something more than earning money to spend on stupid things ;)
I think that there is not only Berlin to visit in Germany. There are also many other things like castles, the Alps and many other beautiful cities like hamburg or munich.
the alps in germany??
@@slmz_ilkan He meant the Himalayans...of course the Alps!! Just use google for 5 seconds and search for it the next time?! (Nationalpark Berchtesgaden, Eibsee, Königssee/Obersee, Zugspitze, Schloss Neuschwanenstein, Weissensee to name a few beautiful locations)
Yes the alps are in Germany as well
We should start a fund raiser for the German woman to travel Germany 😂
@@slmz_ilkan _Koenigssee_ for example is very beautiful. It's almost like a fjord in the alps
Bro Spain is amazing and it’s making me mad that the Spanish girl keeps understanding it and saying it should be in a worse position.
Too humble
Way too humble
we spanish people tend to be kinda humble. But actuallly Spain it's not that beautiful compared to most of european contries, it's just that we have a lot of monuments but normally they are sorounded by ugly newer buildings. In belgium that dosen't happens for exepmple, all buildings are beutiful.
Spain is NOT in a good spot !
There's more to a good tourism experience, than the sun and some old buildings.
So firstly, Spain is losing its youth thru migration to northern cities like London, Paris or Berlin, and low birth rates (very low birth rates).
And secondly, feeling safe and embraced is important too.No tourist wants to be stolen or harassed every step of the way. On a final note, Spain is poor : low GDP, low wages.
@@goofygrandlouis6296 you are generalizing waaaay too much. It just feels like you are angry because you are the poor one 😅Keep whining on the internet if that makes you feel better. What a joke.
The Italian and French girls contained their anger well, if it wasn’t a video they would start fighting seriously 😂
Too arrogant both
I stick to Spain. Spanish people are much humble even having the best country in Europe
@@sheermershk7364 Spain is poor.
They haven't been relevant since the destruction of the Golden Armada by the British Royal Navy, several centuries ago.
@@goofygrandlouis6296 Not relevant? Spain is a relevant country for a lot of people living and traveling there. Just being rich is far from the only thing that makes a country interesting. There are a lot of countries that have very rich history, culture, architecture, beautiful nature, wonderful people, etc. If you think a country has no worth just because it might be poor (compared to what?), is just a very, very sad way to view the world. But you do you.
@@Baalaaxa But Spain WAS rich.
Just like Austria, it's the perfect example of a country with potential, which empire went all wrong.
Spain should have the population size and industrial base of Italy by now, but it does not.
Same holds true when it comes to olympic medals, seats at international institutions like G7 or the UN,..etc etc
Finally you mention culture. Which literature or painting movement came out of Spain in the last 2 centuries ? Maybe Almodovar for the cinema.
Italy and Germany are two of the greatest football national team in world , but both in the last world cups , 2018 and 2022 , had the same fate : Germany only in group state and Italy didn't even go to the world cup , this year Germany will be the host of Eurocup , this can change eventually
Italy won Euro 2020
@@linkvos8151 Yes , but losing against NORTH MACEDONIA playing in Italy was too much , basically the worst result of Italy's history in football
Pff Germany and Italy may have the most World Cups. But current ranking says otherwise. They’re falling. That was all in the past.
France is one of the Greatest National as we speak. Lost their remaining World cup Champion back in 2022 against Arfentina. They’re still top 2 FiFa ranking
Even England is catching up
They both have the most World Cup wins in Europe (tied at 4 wins), but Germany was runner-up more than Italy and more than any other country in history.
I know where they based their ranking on. They basically just followed the most recent FIFA rankings. Actually what Andrea said is very true, it's all seasonal and the rankings can fluctuate a lot. But nevertheless all these European countries are good football nations.
Spanish fashion brands are nowadays leading. Zara, Mango, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Desigual, Stradivarius, Springfield, Balenciaga. I don't know anyone with a closet full of Dior, Gucci, Chanel or D&G
Right
I love Spanish fashion brands
My closet is full of Spanish fashion clothing 💜❤️💜❤️
I'm a fan of pull&bear
Where do you think all the stuff you buy in these cheap spanish brands are comming from? All these styles are copied from big french and italian brands.
I think a lot of these countries get ranked lower because even if they have many important fabulous cultural places to visit they are not well-known internationally.
Just assume the Mediterranean countries are on top of these subjects
So true, these videos would be much more interesting if the person rating them really knew all those countries well. (And if it was more countries than just the same 6 ones)
Please, have in mind that the ranking was made by the average american people and they don't know Europe very well. In fact, I'm surprised that they know there is a continent called Europe 😂
I just love Spanish fashion brands. Mostly ZARA and Mango.
omg lizzie mcguire went to italyyy to confuse it with spain is hilarious in this case
i don´t even know how NO ONE said anything

the german girl lowkey dont know a lot about german beauty. she just mention berlin in every sentence 😂we have also really beautiful destinations like hamburg, munich, cologne, the alps, the black forest, bodensee, really old small towns with the typical german fachwerkhaus
Pretty sure she is from Berlin. Well known for low education an ignorance.
Consider all of them are still pretty young and might not have seen much of their own country yet. Indeed Germany has a lot to offer for tourists. There are several beautiful larger and smaller cities - even some fairytaile style villages, that show off history, like 25000 castles spread all over the country, many museums, cultural differences and various landscapes from state to state.
But like I said - the girls are still so young and have left their countries to study/work in Korea, so they obviously haven't had much time (and probably not much interest either) to learn about their own countries.
@@endless-nimu Yeah you are right. But knowledge doesnt just come from things you saw. You also need some interest for this topic. I dont blame the girl. But its sad that she knows so little about whole german landscape 😅 as foreigner I would think Germany is ugly as hell when you just can flex with berlin
Like Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber: loved that place
I’m French and I work in a Coffee Shop. It always pisses me off a little bit when the world says French people are rude. French people aren’t rude, people who lives in Paris are rude.
I had a French client who explained this to me. I have been treated like shits in one particular city and have been having the silence treatment in Paris. I think the silence treatment is due to my lack in French speach, so I am fine with that. My client also explain that the French think Dutch people are loud, so my apologies, I belong in that category. And i have met so much lovely French people in the less touristy places like Thurry. She explained it all for me ❤
In the Netherlands, it is reversed. The city are the places people are used to it and try their best to speak french and the rest.. You have to give them some time to warm up (and they will).
Rude? For us Italians you are elegant and kind. Maybe some people seem that but no
The kindest people I know are from Paris though. It's only depending on who you meet, there is twats and rude people everywhere
See, it pisses you off when the world says french people are rude, and it pisses *me* off when the world says the people from Paris are rude x)
Because putting everyone in the same basket of ''rude people'' is just so unfair... Seems just like an excuse to shit on us
(Not talking about you of course but generally speaking)
No dude, even Parisian aren't actually rude, and as a parisian it pisses me off to have to explain this but that's life. Truth is, Parisian aren't that many. Most of the people you will cross on the street are either surburbeans, tourist or thoses who call themselves Parisian of adoption. And since this city has this image, you can actually see a lot of theses people acting like jerks, pretending to be theses "arrogant parisian" they heard about. I worked at a Bistro for a long time, you can't believe how many non-locals where acting like they belong and calling people name, sometime with the little french they had.
Most of the time, the real parisian is that ignorant guy that ask for a farmer chicken when in a restaurant on the countryside. The one that is absolutely blown away just to see an animal that isn't a cat, a dog or a rat. Thoses who, even without having time to stop or even the knowledge to speak in english, still tries to help whenever they can when they see someone lost. (By the way, most of us will redirect you to the kiosque people as they generally are the most available and knowledgeable among us)
Hell, i even saw some of my neighbours jumping throught hoops to call a cab / call an uber or even print a map to someone they had just crossed, knowing well enough that doing so will make them late for work.
And the worst people i have ever met in my life, where former countryside men and women alike from wherever, acting like they were superior because, and i quote "In paris, it's better, we have this and that..." but everytime you ask them, they originate from somewhere else.
Parisian loves you, and hate them profoundly.
I am from Germany and I agree. I drove a lot of tiny towns in France and the people were so nice. I tried to speak I French a little and they supported me so much, but could immediately switch to English, if I didn't know the French words
Every one of these countries is unique, really its not a competition. Also, these young ladies are wonderful ambassadors for their countries.
Andre defend Spain 😂 lol we are the second most visited country. There are plenty of things to see in Spain. Granada, Sevilla, Madrid, Basque Country etc etc

When it comes to culture, Germany was rated far too poorly. Just the number of castles and palaces. The sights in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and the North and Baltic Seas should also be noted. Traditional costume festivals, carnival, Oktoberfest and thousands of museums to visit.
Y, Germany has the most castles in the world and there are great cultural locations everywhere. It has such a rich history and I feel place 4 does it no justice. I personally would only see Italy and Spain above it.
WW2 has destroyed most of the cities and the Soviet era didn't help. It's very unfortunate but you can't compare the Frisian region with low Saxony 🤷🏻♂️ just to give you one example
As a German a agree to a point - Germany has a lot to offer but come on - In comparison to Italy and Spain, we're not even close!
@@peterfunfstuck8094 I can agree with Italy but not with Spain.
I think Spain is much more beautiful, diverse and exciting than Italy @@De_URO
Another most beautiful place to visit in France in my opinion is Alsace .Imagine strolling through charming, storybook-like towns with colorful half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets, and flower-filled balconies. Picture yourself surrounded by rolling vineyards, where world-class wines are produced. Experience the warm hospitality of the locals as you indulge in mouthwatering Alsatian cuisine , with its unique blend of French and German influences. Explore fairytale castles, visit picturesque wineries, and immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of this enchanting region. From the vibrant city of Strasbourg to the quaint villages of Colmar and Riquewihr, Alsace is a place that will capture your heart and leave you with unforgettable memories. 🏰🍷
and all that just to eat fried pescado and bad pan with olive oil. I'm joking
it's fake, also take into account that france has many islands that receive many tourists
@@jermr8311 It's true, Spain has some of the worst and toughest breads I have eaten in the whole of Europe, like their very popular barras. You buy one fresh and in a couple of hours it becomes rock-hard.
@@GholaTleilaxu It "s like everything in life. There are bakeries and BAKERIES. You can find very good bread in Spain, but those cheap loaves that are sold come frozen.... Try Galician bread, village bread!

My two countries Spain and Germany should be ranked higher in terms of tourism. Spain is more than just Barcelona, Ibiza and Mallorca. The north of Spain is a real hidden gem. And Germany has many touristy spots with millions of tourists visiting them every year (among them many Asians as well as AMERICANS and yet the American girl didn’t know that). German has beaches and islands, mountains (i‘m not referring to the alps), medieval towns, thousands of palaces and castles, beautiful river valleys, and lakes. 15:12 Ria, you should know better. That was very disappointing. And that American girl really needs to look at a map of Europe.
Btw I also think Belgium is really underrated. Incredibly beautiful cities, beaches and mountains. Italy on the other hand is overrated. Run-down, overcrowded, impolite locals and not that spectacular. France is neither overrated nor underrated. I mean, the touristy spots are overrated but the less touristy spots are very underrated
Italy overrated ? Are you out of your mind? Have you ever been to the Dolomites, Amalfi coast, Lake Garda,Tuscany ecc… ? The best country in the world by far.
I agree with you with Spain and Germany. Besides Barcelona and Madrid, the architecture and the culture. So many differences from the North (Catalonia) than from the South (Andalusia). And for Germany, it's more than Berlin wall and Brandenberg Gate. Bavaria! Munich, Mad King Ludwig's Castle. Take a boat ride down the Rhine and you see old castles. The beauty! Go off the beaten path the tourist traps. Ronda in Spain. Freiburg in Germany. These are two examples.
Yes, north of spain: the pretty well-known Camino de Santiago Francés 😇 and regarding food: Spanish wine and cava are excellent 😋
Ria mentioning the Berlin wall is reasonable. It's (sadly) kind of a unique building, I think you as a resident got just used to it, but for a foreigner it is special. Btw also a very exotic building would have been the Palast der Republik (Palace of the Republic) but there was no will to repair and keep it..
Asturias and cantabria are amazing
It would be really hard, and unfair to rank these countries in many of these categories, because while it's true that some of the countries are more represented or well known, it doesn't necessarily make them better. Every one of these countries are beautiful and have a lot of interesting and worthwhile things to experience. The least well known for me would be Belgium, but would love to visit there as well.
exactly!
well i guess the same way safety is taken from criminality rate, the cultural atractions are taken from the amount of world heritage sites
Belgium is certainly the country of all those represented where we have the most humor, even a little grain of madness. I think if you like to laugh, you should visit Belgium as a priority...
@@mfcq4987 yeah, everyone laughs at Belgium
the original origin of a Schnitzel is in Venice in Italy.
In the 16th century, Italian chefs fried meat in breadcrumbs. Various sources report that the schnitzel entered Austrian cuisine around 1857
so you know.
That's true and the best Schitzel you can eat in Milan (cotoletta alla Milanese)
northern italy was also controlled by germans so thats not a good point
@@gustavworbs6866 not in those times.
@@gustavworbs6866 Northern Italy was controlled by the Germans when? Lombardo Veneto was controlled by the Habsburgs for just 45 years, between 1815 and 1860. Cotoletta alla milanese has been around since the 16th century. Cotoletta alla milanese is much more tender and thinner - that's the original, the Wiener Schnitzel is almost like chewing gum in comparison
Piccata milanese dates back to the 13th century. At that time, it was part of the HRE, so technically ruled by a German but it was still Italians who created the dish.

First proof yourself: could you tell every state in the U.S. including details like food, culture and habits?
@@hnrccaahaha you can't compare states of the US with countries in Europe. The cultural diversity between countries is in a whole other league compared to the States in America. And Belgium and the Netherlands contributed considerably a lot to world history, something which can't be said about every state in the USA.
@hnrccaabro I could point most of US states on the map, with some mistakes in mid America...but US states are not comparable to European countries. if you asking to name US states then equivalent for you would be to name all the provinces in France 😅
Italy is the first placed country by number of Patrimonial Monuments according to UNESCO, and for me is clearly the winner in cultural interest.
Spain was the 1st and largest global empire in history besides the lies from the black legend created by the British
Italy doesn't care about anything. Infrastructure are poor and monuments are not looked after. France is in between and Spain beats both if them. I fiend everything perfect in Spain
@@bjorgcarlsonbeing the largest doesn't necessarily mean there's more to see or that there are "better things" though. Italy is a mess
i'm in love with the spanish girl
She will take your money as fast as all the others.
Which money lol is your money in the room with us
So as a fellow spaniard I would say that Spain's cuisine is always ranked high because of our products, not because we have super well known and appealing dishes (at the end of the day I feel like the vast majority of spanish dishes are post-war kitchen and utilization kitchen insted of over the top colorful cuisine like France or Italy) but because of the raw products, being considered as the orchard of Europe. Best olive oil, best fruits and veggies, best meats and fish, best everything😂
When it comes to the cultural attractions part, in addition to the grat UNESCO world heritage sites we have, I would also say it's because of our landscapes. Like, Spain is the most bio diverse country in Europe. You have everything from your typical mediterranian landscapes like Italy does on every eastern spanish coast + the Balearic islands, to the most cloudy green hills and forests in the north like you would see in Ireland just before the Pirinees (our Alps) to a dessert in the south where many western movies have been filmed to volcanic landscapes with the Canary Islands...🤓👆
But every country in the world is beautiful! Wish I had the money and the time to visit them all😂
Really Spain have one of best cuisine in the world in every sense, products, restaurantes and dishes. Indeed Spain always is in the top5 in every ranking, and the very best chefs in the world. Is a classic to listen a spaniard undervaluing himself. We have Paella, Cachopo, Tortilla española, Jamón Ibérico, Fabada, one of the best Wines and cheeses and much more.
The quality of the ingredients is the best I've ever tasted
La comida está española es increíble en todos los sentidos y no tiene nada que envidiarle a la francesa que por otro lado se adueña de cosas que no son de ella como la creme brûlée que es la crema catalana de toda la vida.
I love Spain 🇪🇸
Everthing is deep fried in olive oil. Thats it.
I LOVE this kind of videos!! Super engaging!!
But, personally, I don't know whether to be sad or proud of my Spanish sister feeling our country is the worst most of the time. It's a shame that many natives have such an inferiority complex T.T.
On the other hand, I miss Portugal and some Balkan countries that would have a lot to contribute :).
They were talking about how each one was very proud of themselves, but in reality Spaniards are a lot more humble compared to Italians and French, and they pack a lot more than you think. For one Spain is a *huge* country only behind France in size, it can compete easily in all of the categories, and it has a lot of brands you might not expect to be spanish (Mango, Zara, Pull & Bear). French and Italian brands are fancier but Spanish brands are more common. Keep in mind that spain and france are also in the lead of visitors yearly, there is a big reason for that. Although Italy is very popular, Spain has just as much history in it and it's coasts are very popular aswell as the Canary Islands (which a lot of people forget)
The point ends up being that Spain is underestimated a lot, it has a lot more to offer than one thinks. (Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Valencia, Andalucía, Cataluña,...)
i am not italian, i’m polish but i totally agree with italian and spanish girl, Italy should totally be at the first place if it comes to cultural attractions, like you have a colloseum there, the leaning tower in pisa, venezia, firenze where renaissance had started, milano - the capital of fashion, cinque terres and many many more iconic places, Italy is literally full of culture, everywhere you go.
spain in my opinion is really beautiful but the third place should be better for it, i cannot tell any iconic building in spain, except of sagrada familia. france have eiffel tower, le corbusier, luvr, notre dame so i think the it should be second.
Omg, u don't know nothing about Spain jajajajj Spain has the only mosque-cathedral in the world, the alhambra, the modernism in Barcelona or the only roman lighthouse that still works after hundreds of years, we had in sum more iconic builds than France
Spanish fashion: Loewe, Balenciaga, Manolo Blanhik, Paco Rabanne (all Spanish) + Mango, Inditex group (ZARA, PULL&BEAR, MASSIMO DUTTI, BERSHKA, STRADIVARIUS, OYSHO and ZARA HOME). I guess we don't spend too much money in promoting ourselves as French or Italians do hehe
My opinion on football today 2024:
1) France
2) Spain
3) Germany
I'm italian and now i can go to cry 😓
Spain used to have a better football team, as Italy. Now Germany is the best (Bayern, Borussia...).
France only have Paris Saint Germain, so Italy is better in football. Milan, Juventus, Napoli...
In Spain the Barça is going down nowadays, and we have the Real Madrid.
And England nowadays IS the best as Germany
Real Madrid has won 14 champions league
It's not complicated because the question was about the actual Fifa ranking @@DiotimaMantinea-gr6rx because of course in football history Germany and Italia are first and second.

Fashionable and Food you have a hard choice , since you have two of the best of all , which is Italy and France , i prefer Italy , but France's food and fashion is also great

Italy and France have identity crisis. They are not fun countries to visit unless you are rich and can stay away from tourist traps. Spain is such a fun and easy county to visit. The people are so nice in every region, it’s very easy to get around and has great experiences no matter your budget. I also think the food in Spain is very underrated. I would go back to Spain again and again but the few times I visited France and Italy was enough for me. It’s stressful to visit those places.
Couldn’t agree more on your comment. I’m French and not much proud (I don’t look like one)
Not to mention, French people are not really friendly and nice.

Because you probably visited places only tourist goes, if you immerse yourself in those countries they are AMAZING. But if you go to Paris, Roma, Venise, Florence it’s cool but it’s not representative of the actual country. And of course if you visit only the capital like Paris it’s of course more expensive.

The football ranking is probably based on the national ranking right at the moment. Because historic wise germany is the most successful country out of them and the second most successful overal after brazil. There's no way Spanish food is better than French food overall. I'm a French bloke living in Valencia and I love everything about Spain but French food is way more diverse and subtle.
I don't know who made this ranking, but if it's young people, it's not surprising. Italy and Spain have an almost "street" food culture, which can easily be eaten on a terrace like pizza or tapas. French gastronomic culture is more "sophisticated" and often requires going to restaurants and spending time there (with a sometimes expensive bill).
Personally, as a French person, I love the traditional French dishes that I cook at home for my family or friends, but I don't like going to French restaurants at all which I often find stiff and pretentious...
@@mfcq4987 I could not agree more with your last statement. It is so stiff that I find the experience of dining in a French restaurant rather unpleasant. I was just talking about the sole quality and diversity of food, though.

@@asdfasdf-mn8iu She is a very young girl who has probably traveled little in her own country, but whenever she can travel she goes abroad. It happens a lot among all Europeans. When she knows more about Spain she will change her mind.
When I saw the “good for tourism” I thought that Spain was gonna be high, and you know the tourist don’t come for the sights… they love Spain for the “party vibes”. Spain has a lot of beautiful places but is being ruined by low cost tourism that only comes to drink, party and be annoying. Like most places by the sea is full of drunken tourists even if we have a lot of cultural places (in my city we have 2 castles, and a lot of roman deposits) but people come to the beach and to get drunk and they are pretty rude and also kind of make you feel less safe.
Like in my city we have a way to know if the tourist are “good” or “troublemakers”, like if they visit in winter probably they come because they are actually interested in the culture, but if they come in summer is just to get drunk. This is not the tourist fault (well a little) but mostly the way the government likes to present our country as to outsiders.
Is really a same, I wish we could have more than just the drinking and parting slogan for tourists 😢
Very well explained. The government is interested in money and they promote Spain for beach tourism. However, Spain is in the Top 5 of countries with the most world heritage and cultural cities. Landscape places are the richest in Europe and are considered the most diverse, from the cherry blossoms of the Jerte Valley, the marrows of León, the snow-capped mountain ranges, the Almeria desert, the islands, the northern forests, the olive trees of Jaen, the vineyards of La Rioja, etc etc...
For Cultural attraction I don't understand, really: France is the biggest country represented here, with more than 45000 castles (more than the number of cities) a huge number of monuments like cathedrals, historical places like battle fields of first and second World War, natural places like mountains, seas, oceans, a huge number of museum like the louvre museum, the orsay museum, they are restaurants from all over the french territory and even more, from all over the world, like african, asian, italian, spanish, and more, restaurants. If you think about french overseas territories, there's beautiful islandes, like Taïti and Bora-Bora or la Réunion. A lot of places are made for tourism, like caves, museums, cruises, ... This is not for nothing that France is the most visited country even if the services are not as good as in Italy or Spain... I must admit that sometimes when a french doesn't have the time to speak with you, he will speak to you in english or get upset because he lost time trying to understand you... It happens in very visited places like airport or stations (In the monuments, the tourist guides are paid to help you so normally, there's no problem) I think for the "good for tourism", the fact that there are too much people in visited places makes France down the leaderbord. really for tourist attraction i don't understand...
Even if Spain and Italy are really beautiful countries with Netherlands Germany and Belgium but not made as much for tourism as France (there is like two times more tourists in France than in Italy)
Very interesting video by the way! I liked it very much!
Actually this depends on the way tourists are counted in France, that make them overrated. You can compare the presences of Lyon and Florence or Venice and you'll realize that something doesn't work. @@anthonyg9938 For football, that can be argued. Spain has won the UEFA European Championship (Euro) three times, while France has won two times. Spain also has two of the most successful European clubs of all time, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. France is the most visited country in Europe and the world, with Spain trailing second in Europe, and Italy third. I still gave the edge to Italy because Italy has the most UNESCO World Heritage Sites of any country in the world, and France's tourist industry is very Paris-centric, whereas Italy seems to have a greater variety of larger cities that still attract tourists like Rome, Florence, Venice, and even Pisa, Milan, Naples. Maybe that's because it's just not true. In fact, the crime rates dropped massively in Europe in the last 20-30 years: The homicide rate in Europe dropped by almost 2/3 since is peak in 1994. The general crime rate in Germany peaked in 1993 and dropped by 25% since then. And that's despite the fact that we (thankfully) tightened the laws since then, especially those surrounding sexual violence. Things we count as crime today where considered legal 20 years ago.
In the same time, the fear of crime rose, because social media made crime much more visible and certain media and right-wing populists try to scare the hell out of the people for their own benefit.
I love Andrea but I hate she underrated our country and think France and Italy gonna be better, that's can show you we aren't like italians or french people who think their things are the best ALWAYS. In the opposite you could see the french and the italian girls surprised cause they aren't higher in some rankings They lack a little humility like Andrea.
Well, for a french it will seem natural to be confident on some of those rankings.
France is the most visited country in the world, and has been for decades, we are litteraly invaded by tourists in summer. Spain is following behind France, but with a larger portion of tourists simply being europeans going for the beach in summer rather than international tourists coming for the culture.
France has always been big on cuisine (a french word), even the ranking is coming from France (the Michelin). Now this is mostly haute cuisine, and anybody would agree that Italy has a clear lead when it comes to accessible cuisine (pizza, pasta etc...).
As for luxury and fashion, there are tons of brands, and France is leading purely from a financial perspective here. One of the richest men on the planet (was even the richest man on earth for a time last year) is the owner of LVMH for example.
For football, it also makes no sense to be humble, the french team is factually doing good these days.

Let's face it, Germany is really, really bad at self-promoting.
That is extremely on purpose. Germany is like the kid in class who used to be a bully, but is actually really smart and rich and has left that behaviour behind, and is now just taking a backseat while the more temperamental Italy, France and Spain stand in the spotlight. Also like a cousin of France and they had lots of beef in the past because their parents fought over grandpa's inheritance. But after changing grade last summer they noticed they aren't that different and hang out more.
Germans want to keep it that way. No need to be in the spotlight.
@@De_URO I get that, but tourism is a lot of money...
@@Captainumerica can be printed.. is just paper.
@@HappyBeezerStudios I love Mediterranean countries, specially Spain. It offers everything you need to feel good and be happy
The 2 american girls they get are so out of touch its crazy
What culture attractions spain in front of italy ? 😅 italy have the most heritage sites in the whole World
You should question your sources because most of these rankings were absolutely not based on true facts
Don’t bother. She’s American. Everything she said is not accurate
Agreed. Tourism is wrong (It's France, Spain, Italy...). Safety is wrong (Netherlands, Spain, Germany...). Food is right (Italy, Spain, France...). Tourist sites is wrong (Italy, France, Germany...). Fashion is eye of the beholder.
Im not into football tbh. But why is Netherlands the worst? I thought we did pretty good last world cup
If they had someone to represent England in this recording, so that England (yes england not the entire the entire United kingdom because at football, England is his own edentity, not representing Wales, Scotland or north Irland) would be a part for the ranking choices but it’s highly likely that then the US-American girl would probably rank the English Football somewhere on top between the second of even as the highest in ranking, and based on what i have noticed and learned in the last couple of years, watching British football themed YT videos, reading the comments, and interacting trough online conversations directly with Brits, is that the majority of the English football fans believe and would rank the same as the US Girl.
Even when everything logical as well as simple math immediately contradict this delusion of the Brits to be better as germany, the Netherlands or france, and their handling of this information usually reach almost the same levels of delusional denial, aggressivity triggered through ignorance, patriotism and stoic exceptionalism the US citizens are well known for.
Most of them acutely really believe that the English Football league would be equal, if not even better at playing Football in general compared to the different European countries, especially the Top 4! Which is factual extremely far from the actual realty.
Because the official ranking (based on the success at the UEFA matches, since the start in 1955/56)is:
1. Real Madrid 🇪🇸, 2. Barcelona 🇪🇸 , 3. Benfica 🇵🇹 , 4. Bayer Munich 🇩🇪, 5. Juventus 🇮🇹, 6. Ajax 🇳🇱; followed at the 7th place Manchester United, being literally the only English club in the entire UEFA top10 ranking, also Britain/England was able only one time till this day to win one of the the football cups, winning the 1966 world cup but not even once a UEFA cup like alle the other countries in the top10 ….
Now I just want to go to Spain even more lol. Been wanting to go to Barcelona since Cheetah girls 2 :).
Be careful then, Barcelona is the most dangerous city in Spain, especially for a tourist.
When the Cheetah Girls went to Barcelona the city was much safer. Now with mass immigration it has become a very unsafe place, so be careful if you go.
I assume you're probably not from Barcelona and vote right winged parties just by this coment lol Barcelona is just fine, a big city with big city things just like any other big city in the world (and yes I live in Barcelona😂) @@Albens00

Barcelona is very nice and wonderful city, but If you want to know Spain not just stay there, visit Seville, Toledo, Granada, Madrid and the north of Spain and then you could say you were in Spain and feel the real spirit of my country.
