- If you’re looking for Biblical teachings on how to overcome religious OCD (aka scrupulosity), you’re in the right place. I’m a follower of Jesus Christ and I’ve struggled with religious OCD myself. I have three degrees in theological specializations, so I approach this topic purely from a spiritual perspective, but I recognize that religious OCD has a considerable amount of overlap between spirituality and psychology. While I support and strongly recommend medical/psychological interventions, it is outside the scope of my expertise to offer psychological counseling of any kind. The information provided on my channel is not intended to be used as a substitute for professional diagnosis and treatment, but rather for educational and informational purposes only.

Good word!!!
Thank you for your work, Jaimie!! Your blog posts and videos are helping me through a hard time right now :)
Thank you so much for consistently posting these and putting all the thought and effort into making them so valuable!☺
Amen, Jaimie! ❤❤❤
Great video!
1) You know I'm a big fan of the Jacob-Esau meetup for its insights on emotions in personal interactions, so I was excited to hear you discuss it!
2) The trouble with love, like most elementary concepts in one's native language, is that we usually hear it first from caregivers before getting its definition - and then it's used to describe God. So we can say "God loves me" while subconciously, emotionally carrying everything our caregivers are (because we're told it before we know what it is).
Separating those out can take so, so long.
