Valie Export Society "Touch Cinema"

Remake of VALIE EXPORT'S 'Touch Cinema' by Valie Export Society, 2000.
Valie Export Society (VES) borrowed its name and numerous performances from the feminist performance and media artist VALIE EXPORT. Their Touch Cinema refers to EXPORT's Tapp-- und Tastkino (Tap and Touch Cinema) (1968), which criticised cinema as a realm of male projections.

Why such a poor copy? And why copy her in the first place? Surely you did it at night for fear of arrest, she did it in broad daylight. So why do it at all?
