I like to compare them like Eminem is a pin point laser guided nuclear missile, Extremely complex and technical, a pinnacle of modern science that would obliterate anyone he took aim at but Tupac was a Volcano, an unstoppable force of nature and no matter how clever your weapon systems get (Eminem) they simply can't match mother nature (Tupac)
Crazy fact about this song. During the Sierra Leone civil war, the militia played this song heavy. Tupac was a big inspiration to the rebels. They played his music, wore his shirts, and used his attitude to attribute to their worldviews. This man was powerful.

I am from the uk and listend to Tupac for 18 years. Since I was 17 years old. And still blasting this track. I never heard any rapper mc with a voice and lyrics and just meaning every word he says. Like that last verse oh my god. A mean Tupac was a speaker standing up for the poor and the forgotten man in society. He just got through to you with his voice and energy its like he sucks you. The song that both 2Pac and Nas sampled this beat from is the song 'Friends' by the rap group Whodini (1984). Both Nas' song and Pac's song were recorded in 1996 but Pac's was not released until 1998, 2 years after he died. Dope reaction by the way.
