nintendo adding a "lap mechanic" to the submerged castle was a stroke of genius. having the waterwraith instantly activate each floor makes for a very stressful but fun gimmick, even if it does take a lot of pratice to get down

I always liked that, if you decided to do Lap 3, the Waterwraith would come and chase you for the rest of the level. It was stressful, but a great addition nonetheless.
