Wish I could afford it .man I'm disabled and in a wheelchair I live off $790 a month. It's killing me cause I really want this course just can't afford it I pay house payment and bills then I'm broke send it to me free lol
I love that you often mention the word “fun” in your videos. You’re all about enjoying the guitar at any level of mastery. I like that attitude a heck of a lot.
65 years young Nana here, I had lessons for 12 months, gave it up for another 12.....I decided to give it another try and I found you, Steve Stine. I've learned more in your first 10 lessons than in 12 months with a "teacher". Thank you so much for making my guitar lessons so easy, understandable and it gives me hope that I will play my guitar very soon and I will be able to listen to me lol so thank you!!!
I’ve tried to learn guitar for almost 30 years! I’ve learned more in 3 days and 4 videos than the in the past, where have you been all my simple life, thanks for everything, simple explanations, great positive attitude, all in all, the best teacher ever, Cheers mate, Don’t stop teaching!
The brilliance of Steve is that he knows the theory like a jazz guy, but rocks like a rocker (lots of jazz guys won’t or can’t play or teach rock, and call open string chords “cowboy chords!” ) Well, know what, most of us are cowboys or cowgirls at heart, learned to play on open string chords and always will! Then teachers that don’t sing don’t always at least talk the lyrics (for us singin’ strummers) so we can connect the lyrics to the playing! And Steve does this! So he’s the “Perfect 10” teacher! I’m so happy I found you, Steve! So many of your videos are exactly right where I’m at. I’m sure tons of players say that which makes your teaching universal! Suited for any level! 👏🎸😍
Steve is an excellent guitar teacher . I love how he says " it doesn't matter how you do it" He makes learning fun. Too many teachers out there seem they want you to know how good they are but can't get the point across.
excellent. so many you tube vids brag about easy 3 chord songs but usually end up with a few sections with hard chord progressions so you end up with bits of songs. great job.
Steve, I think what you have illustrated here is that, in the case of these simple three chord songs, the music is really made with your strumming pattern and dynamics. So this is more proof of the old adage that says your left hand shows what you know and your right hand shows who you are.
THIS is years after the fact BUT YOU sir are one of the first internet teachers that I started with 10 years ago on my guitar journey. You and Marty Music has changed my world let's be honest. I've went on to have some amazing musical experiences and it wouldn't have happened more than likely had I not found you cats in the beginning. ANYWHO, that said. I feel that I've gotten a pretty solid grip on my craft now and I still find myself coming back to you as a "reset" at times. Good stuff Steve and I personally very much appreciate you and your style.

I put it in the Portuguese/English translator, because I don't speak English... I'm from Brazil, and this was the most fun class I've ever seen in my life, simple but wonderful songs, thank you so much for helping me!
Thanks! This is exactly what I need right now. I’ve been a drummer for 30+ years and have always played simple piano and super simple guitar- in the closet. This year I’m going to book some vocal/guitar gigs on my own... and this is great coaching for me... Thanks again... And I like the G- sandwich term.. 😂

Man... it's so enjoyable to watch your videos. Good mood, straightforward lessons! For me, i'ts clear that you LIKE whar you do! THANK YOU and keep up this excellent work!
i know many channels on youtube, but when i see your videos it makes me put my game-controller away and pick up my guitar. you are a good inspiration for me and motivation.
Dude this was so awesome particularly for beginners like me who's kinda late to pick up that guitar. I always thought that playing the guitar was more like a brain surgery operation in the process. I realized after few attempts that discovering to try to strum some of your favorite sings on your own was a fantastic moment of fun. Guys, leave those gadgets on the shelf and start rockin'. Cheers Steve.
I consider myself as an amateur rythem guitar player. I had a very hard time finding easy guitar lessons of songs with a few basic chords. Thank you so much. I can finally pull out the guitar and actually play a whole song :)
Youre the most amiable teacher in here, you respect and understand every step of guitar player's. I dont want to get art education as a doctrin like everyone else does... Cheers from Turkey. Thanks God art has no nation! :>
Just played Hound Dog your way, Picked it my way, strummed it bluesy way, and jazzed it up after a few beers way. IT WORKS. May your beacon of "Keep it Simple and Have Fun" Shine forever.

Thanks for this great lesson. I began playing guitar late in life and do not have the time or the desire to learn from the beginning with scales, etc. I just want to learn how to play some easy songs which is what you do a great job doing. I will continue to follow your lessons as they are just what I was looking for. Thanks again, you are a great teacher.
Steve Stine, I've been looking at quite a few Guitar Teaching Videos on UA-cam and yours do feel very much like the Best Ones. Very Clear and Explained Precisely what a Beginner Guitarist has to do and should do to enable them to Learn about Playing Guitars. I've had a look at some of your Video's and you do Cover a Lot more than other Guitar Training Videos do. The only thing I haven't been able to find yet amongst your Video's. Is Videos teaching the Guitarist how and the Correct and Best way to Change Guitar Strings, both on Acoustic and Electric Guitars and the Correct way to Clean & Maintain your Guitar. My question is have you made any Videos concerning the above subjects.? Thank you in advance for your reply.! Best Wishes.!
Steve I’m not a guitar player I’ve been a drummer for 38 years , I picked up the guitar the other night and started learning Pink Floyd wish you were here , took me all about four hours to get the whole song now I’m hooked on the guitar thanks for the simple chords sometime song’s seem a little harder than they actually are !

Steve thanks again The elves song when you change the Keys What's is that ,another dodo question How do you know, when ur gonna Use . And on what fret. Highly appreciated Thanks again Steve.
Thanks for watching, Kris! To answer your question, first let's review what's happening when Steve puts the capo on the 5th fret. First, let's look at a G chord. The tab below is for a guitar with no capo, just playing a G chord: e - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - B - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - G - - - - 0 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - D - - - - 0- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A - - - - 2- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - E - - - - 3- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The root note for the G chord is G, and you can find the lowest G note in the chord on the 6th string, 3rd fret. Now, let's look at that chord again with the capo on the 5th fret. It looks the same in the tab, but all the notes are 5 frets higher. Look on the left for the new notes in the tab below: a - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - E - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - C - - - - 0 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - G - - - - 0- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - D - - - - 2- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A - - - - 3- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The chord looks the same, but it's being played 5 frets higher. Now, the lowest note of this chord is C, which means that when you put a capo on the 5th fret and play a G chord shape, you're actually playing a C chord. :-) Re the other 2 chord shapes, if you move a C chord up the fretboard 5 frets, it becomes an F chord, and if you move a D chord up the fretboard 5 frets, it becomes a G chord. So, if you put a capo on the 5th fret and play G, C, and D, you're actually playing the chords C, F, and G. Now, if you know how to play an F chord, you could drop the capo and just play C, F, and G. But the idea for this video is to just use 3 chords. Just remember: pay attention to what the root notes are, and you can quickly figure out what's what when you use a capo. And remember, you can move the capo to any fret you want, for any song. It comes in really handy if you sing, or if you play with a singer. Because sometimes when you try to sing a song, there will be a note or two that are just a little too high (or too low) to sing. When that happens, a capo comes in handy. For example, if the song is too low for you to sing, try putting the capo on the first or second fret. You can play the song exactly the same way, but now everything's raised up a little, so your voice might fit the song better. Hope this makes sense! :-) Just wanted to give a heads-up, if you want to play new songs faster, write better songs, and sound more authentic and musical when you solo, make sure you check out Steve’s new Ultimate Song Bundle → www.guitarzoom.com/ultimatesongbundle/promo/ …and check it out soon because it ends soon. Same he's awesome
excellent. so many you tube vids brag about easy 3 chord songs but usually end up with a few sections with hard chord progressions so you end up with bits of songs. great job.
Steve, I think what you have illustrated here is that, in the case of these simple three chord songs, the music is really made with your strumming pattern and dynamics. So this is more proof of the old adage that says your left hand shows what you know and your right hand shows who you are.
This^ Would have been ideal to indicate strumming patterns. Songs are nothing without proper strumming.
I sure hope my right hand never shows who I am... It's got a lot of dirt on me...
Need strumming pattern for sure please

Steve, I thank you for you"re help I"m just beginning and you"re a good teacher the way you break it down really has helped me.
I'm glad to hear that, Dave!
i know many channels on youtube, but when i see your videos it makes me put my game-controller away and pick up my guitar. you are a good inspiration for me and motivation.
Glad to hear, Emil!
Awesome, Colin! Thanks for watching, and thanks for sharing your progress! :-)

Steve Stine,
I've been looking at quite a few Guitar Teaching Videos on UA-cam and yours do feel very much like the Best Ones.
Thank you bro. Teaching good! Hugs from Mozambique ( Africa) :)

Wow. God bless you for this.
Steve thanks again
The elves song when you change the Keys
What's is that ,another dodo question
How do you know, when ur gonna
Use . And on what fret.
Highly appreciated
Thanks again
Steve.
Thanks for watching, Kris! To answer your question, first let's review what's happening when Steve puts the capo on the 5th fret.
First, let's look at a G chord. The tab below is for a guitar with no capo, just playing a G chord:
e - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
B - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
G - - - - 0 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
D - - - - 0- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
A - - - - 2- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
E - - - - 3- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The root note for the G chord is G, and you can find the lowest G note in the chord on the 6th string, 3rd fret.
Now, let's look at that chord again with the capo on the 5th fret. It looks the same in the tab, but all the notes are 5 frets higher. Look on the left for the new notes in the tab below:
a - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
E - - - - 3 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
C - - - - 0 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
G - - - - 0- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
D - - - - 2- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
A - - - - 3- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The chord looks the same, but it's being played 5 frets higher. Now, the lowest note of this chord is C, which means that when you put a capo on the 5th fret and play a G chord shape, you're actually playing a C chord. :-)
Re the other 2 chord shapes, if you move a C chord up the fretboard 5 frets, it becomes an F chord, and if you move a D chord up the fretboard 5 frets, it becomes a G chord.
