I was under the impression that the M96.05 engine also had the larger, non-servicable IMS bearing. This was not mentioned, am I wrong? Was this an "AI" production, or was a human involved. It sort of just sounded like a computer talking to us. Thanks, -Tom.
The M96.05 engine, if built during the 2006 model year or after, can indeed have the larger, non-serviceable bearing but there are some for sure that can be serviced. We do use an AI voiceover tool as none of us like to hear our own voices in these videos, but the content itself is created by either Charles Navarro or Jake Raby based on the questions submitted to us.
@@aboyandhisdog Your 2006 indeed will have the larger non-serviceable IMS bearing. In your case, you will want to have the grease seal removed out outlined in our recommendations for the 06-08 models: lnengineering.com/products/the-definitive-guide-and-faq-for-porsche-ims-bearings/my06-08-porsche-cayman-boxster-911-ims-bearing.html

@@lnengineeringllc Thanks a lot! I have an '06 C2. Is there a way to tell from the VIN or engine # which bearing I have?
