I really don’t understand how you cannot love this smell I have the EDT and the PARFUM and they bring me a lot of compliments they smell sweet but not agressive and people around me love it and I do too
These scandal fragrances are beast mode, like fill up a room. I ride scooter around the city wearing a jacket, I don’t spray it on the jacket and people would still smell it on the street. They are so strong that you are nose blind 💁🏻♂️ They are young clubbing fragrances, they do not mean to be serious. You are old so you don’t like it for sure. I am young but I don’t like them either but for clubbing, they do the work! 🤭

The EDT is a popular club scent here in Germany. Although longevity and silage could be better, it still lasts and projects whole a lot better than most of recent releases of the designer fragrances in my opinion.
Totally agree with this review, tried a sample of the EDT and did not enjoy it, so synthetic, tacky and soulless. To me it smells like the target audience are those who have not experienced real perfume before and also think that this line won’t last -sorry is you like this one, just my humble opinion 🤷🏼♂️
I love them both... I live in Ohio and got a lot of compliments with the edt but the le parfum has a tad bit smother smell yet don't project nearly as much as the EDT
Seb another excellent review. Both are good mass appealing, EDP is a bit smoother. In general JPG fragrances are head and shoulders compared to other mass appealing designers scents. Recently bought Armani Code EDP, and in my opinion it is not an EDT it is some sort of unrecognizable watered down version of 2004 OG. Shame.
Seb I strongly agree with everything you mentioned very boring not worth the prices. The house released much better fragrances in the past like over 10 years ago.

I just got a 20ml bottle of Rokka by Antonia's Flowers. Have you ever smelled it? Do you have it in any videos? I smelled it and I think it's light, and has a nice powdery soapy smell.
JPG bottles and adverts are great, however the fragrances are not. None of them work for me. The worst one is Kokorico, a bitter smoky coconut concoction.
I totally agree with what you are saying. I love scents and worked my way through to niche over the last 2 decades. Sadly, in my circle and work environment no one really appreciates niche or the depth nor the ingredients in a perfume. Some even think I smell overpowering at times, or medicinal. But when I wear a generic perfume, they give compliments, which I appreciate once in a while. 😬 Maybe I need to find new friends...

I recently purchased the EDT, 100ML at Discount site, Gift Express ! I like the EDT better than the EDP version. Very nice scent, Longevity it decent on my skin. I have a decant of the EDP dont care for it!
Just to guage my experience I wear "Mancera Red Tabacco" as my daily go to but did blind buy a refillable bottle EDP when 1st released(thought it was good value for reill 200ml)...I found my bottle longevity actually beastly AF ...**conclusion gives me worst headaches from so syrupy sweet cant wear....Mancera Red Tabacco all day everyday 🤙
It’s corporate style perfumery. They had little to zero input on creating this fragrance. Jean Paul Gaultier told them “Hey you see these fragrances that are selling well? We want you to make something like that”

Yep we can’t win them all. I am pondering over your review for Grand Bow. I really like the other two, but not sure about the stepchild. On another note, I am always more interested in Niche fragrances, even though I still love a few designer ones, but they get fewer all the time.
I haven't smelled either of them because they're not in stores in Montreal. I refuse to blind buy them, too. So, unless they decide to send some to stores in my city, I won't be smelling them ever. l don't understand your reviews on JPG HOUSE and ARMANI. I have them all, over 250 other fragrances including all of the PDMs. Scandal le parfum is an absolutley amazing strong fragrance that lasts the whole day on you. Sorry Sebastian but l think you must have some personal reasons against JPG & ARMANI.
Well I defintiely know to skip these now. I get rather bored with designers now anyway, they all smell the same to me. I did try the JPG Le Beau a while back because I got a sample with an order I made. It was better than I expeected ( a nice beachy summer/island vibe) but it didn't blow me away. Regardin what I would like to see more of on the channel, my vote goes for more lesser known brands. I'de like to see more indie stuff like January Scent Project, Rogue, and Darren Alan Perfumes (he makes excellent vintage style scents, his two chypres and his iris called Sweet Repose are stunning.
You might well have hit the nail on the head that these scents might well be designed for the less experienced nose, teenage, tweens etc. and maybe priced for that market too 👍🏻

1) As far as refills goes, how many do you know in the wild community that even make a dent in a bottle, let alone finish one?! 2) I'm not a fan of refills because it's too easy for them to be tempared with, especially if buying from a discounter who gets their bottles via the grey market. I'm surprised you don't have Ultra Male or the two iterations of Le Beau. Don't you think that it would benefit The Perfume Guy, the El Exigente of the perfume community, to have all the flankers from JPG for clients that come to The Perfume Guy Studio?
I don't buy the refills, and I don't like the idea of refills. Why would I want to wear that much of the same fragrance? It'll get boring and I'll miss out on other stuff As for the reviews, you can go whichever way you want. I get decants of most of the new releases for both the major designers and the luxury niche stuff, so I'll keep watching and commenting with my thoughts either way

My husband love the EDT and I steal some spray from him. It smell good on me too. The caramel is bomb. But too light. I want stronger.

It was so subdued in regards to the EDP. I prefer the EDT between the two! :)

I have 150ml EDT. It's nice, I don't wear it often.
Maybe a monthly roundup of the supposed best-of-the-best designers the other channels have been hyping

I tested this collection and didn't like it.
I don't know how these smell. But I do love the female offering of Scandal - thay thick honey is so cozy.
I found the Edt really dull and tedious. Not tried the Edp.
Not impressed with this series. I respect your opinion and I won't be checking out this collection.

Try Le Male Le Parfum, Le Beau and Ultra Male. They're all beautiful scents, as is the original Le Male.

This was a hard pass for me. I hated both. Poor performing garbage in my opinion.
I just found out they have discontinued ARMANI CODE PROFUMO. How about a Top frag discontinued list i.e worth hunting down
