When I was playing blackout as Zero and my brother was playing as Seraph, we got voice lines with the two talking with each other as if they knew each other. They even mention Blackjack. I remember Zero saying "tell Blackjack that he still owes me 10 crypto"

Yeah, I actually felt like the Campaign is here with us as this story develops, and I like that they're not entirely abandoning Black Ops III's story cause it suffered major flaws, but it's still a narrative worth saving.

Black Ops III's campaign was riddled with flaws but I'm personally quite interested about the lore of futuristic Black Ops (specifically surrounding the specialists) and any campaign based around each individual specialist's origin would please me greatly as the cutscenes in the specialist HQ were really quite fascinating.

Inkslasher, I actually like your theory. There’s one thing that doesn’t seem right to me... Reaper’s involvement in the Corvus Armory. In the mission “Hypocenter”, there are these GI units similarly designed to Reaper. So... going off you’re highly probable theory about Corvus, how about ; Zero, after she created Corvus, tried to warn the other scientists before evacuating herself. If you recall, Corvus released Nova 6 on the scientists, killing them all. Before that happened, Zero evacuated after discovering the Corvus virus. Later that day, she hacked into Reaper to find Corvus and possibly destroy him. Yeah, I’m probably crazy. I actually have evidence, though. I checked in with Reaper’s Backstory/ Audio files and I was astonished at what I found. Listen to it closely. It’s in a conversation between Prophet and Reaper, where Prophet actually looked at Reaper’s wiring. Now, Reaper said there were over 6 million revisions that were “natural”. Now this’ll make more sense when I go further, what if these “natural” revisions weren’t natural and were actual simulations made by Zero to improve Reaper. Now, Prophet goes on to say that the Reaper GI units were built to take commands and directly obey them (as most computers should), but Reaper makes a clear statement that he doesn’t comply. So... this is a bit trickier. Prophet set up a trap for the people that run Reaper, and he found what seemed to be the location of Zero at that time: gambling. “The sums of money changing hands electronically over his body count, were astronomical. Enough to equip a private army”. I’m not sure how that’s valuable, but I have a feeling it is. Prophet then goes on to ask what happened when he got to the server area. Reaper plays an audio file from when he went “rogue” *at the underground facility that developed Corvus.* This can be proven by the Black Ops 3 mission “Hypocenter”, where there were robots, under *Corvus’* control, of the same model. This proves that Zero was involved with both Corvus AND Reaper, and actually survived the Nova 6 gas. She possibly went deeper into the armory to hide or find a gas mask. So, this is where it all fits together. Zero hacked Reaper to destroy Corvus, all the while hiding herself from him. She planted a hidden receiver in Reaper that was almost undetectable to even Prophet, allowing Zero to override Reaper’s initial input, control Reaper to slaughter everyone in that underground armory, and talk THROUGH Reaper to Prophet DURING the backstory transmission while hiding her own location and whereabouts.
It’s a lot to think about, but just listen to the transmission and see for yourself. What do you guys think??

They can be either of the two. If you aren't little kids but have played or seen bo3, you should have noticed the bird sounds. Both ravens and crows make "caw caw" sounds. Before criticizing, think twice.

So, i know its popular to hate on BO4 at the moment, but im really not trying to do that. I just want to know if anyone else thinks it is pretty much expected that we should have gotten a specialist story just like the other specialists with this operation that is named for the character? Like, I just feel like Treyarch can't get an update all the way right. Don't get me wrong. Im a fan of this update's content in the black market pass, but I just really think the cutscenes , bios and tutorials are vital to developing the new character.

I thought so too, at first. But remember how she doesn't leave behind any digital footprints and all that? I think that would be the excuse to not have her backstory? Honestly, I think that it most likely came down to the fact that those scenes are super expensive to animate, so they didn't wanna spend resources on it.

For her Backstory I have a theory to add on to what you said about Corvus. When Zero was making the software to control soldiers and made Corvus,what If Savannah found out and angrily told Zero to use her hacking ability to fix it but then the hacking wouldn’t work. Savannah would then probably have Zero captured and taken away to a far off place as a punishment for what she did.

At 10:08 look at the the subtitle Corvus says ‘I am not a mistake’ and inkslasher said that zero made Corvus accidently bringing an arrogant side to zeros personality showing that she doesn’t like to show when she is wrong and can’t accept herself as wrong perhaps making her look gothic without acceptance of herself.

I like this ever evolving story. Makes me feel the Campaign is here with us, along the way as Black Ops I||I develops in new add ons, even though its gone.
Couple major flaws with this theory.
1. The specialists in BO4 don’t have DNI’s yet because during this time, the CIA was conducting illegal DNI testing in the coalescence facility in Singapore which leads me to flaw #2. Corvus was created by coalescence during the illegal DNI tests as an A.I. to monitor the subjects thoughts, emotions, etc... something went wrong, Corvus gained all the memories and feelings of the test subjects. Including the frozen forest meditation created by Dr. Salim. Corvus then begins infecting every soldier it comes into contact with in an effort to find the frozen forest. Savannah played no part in the creation of Corvus and although zero could’ve had a hand in designing Corvus for coalescence, I’d say it’s pretty unlikely.

At the time 10:07 Corvus says I am not a mistake which makes me believe that zero actually did make a mistake and Corvus takes it personally thus killing the Krueger in the tree.
