I love you man! You have made an impact on the human culture and thereby made an impact on the bees. I live in Albuquerque and have been interacting with bees since 1985. IMO, Les Crowder has had an IMMENSE impact on the sustainable health of honeybees in our unpredictable world.
Amazing. Very smart man. One of the smartest men I've heard, not just in bee keeping but in life itself. My idol. I wish the whole world thought like that.
I've read your book. In my opinion it is the most informative book on bee keeping and top bar in particular that I have ever read. Great interview and superior book. Thank You. Keep up the good work>
Hi Les. Seen a Top bar hive over one hour video few years ago, Unfortunately can't find it. Sometimes I recommend it to new TBH beekeepers. May I have link please.
I am just starting out, I built four top bars out of scrap lumber I like your way of thinking keep posting. Question My first hives top bar is only 13" long, is that ok?
Susan wells I don't know if you have gotten an answer yet. I'm sure you have by now. I believe 13 inches would be too short I wouldn't go less than 15. You would kind of be cramming them in making them more prone to swarm.
what a nice person you are, I love your philosophy,I will love to find some one like you in MA. I want to star my beehive, but some people think is to late to star in July. What do you think?,

Lovely man. An expert. We need more humans like this to survive.
Great interview...sound advice...so glad we are treatment free...
These videos are great! Very educational. For the next round, could you bring up the audio levels? It's hard to hear the commentary.

I'm from the North East (NH). What is your experience with using Top Bar hives in colder climates. I can see how they do well in warmer climates.
