Holy crap when I lived in Vegas there were like 2 restaurants that had Michelin-starred chefs now they are everywhere!

awesome video as usual derek brother..for some reason it seems to me that ordering like checking off the lil boxes and choosing your food like that is pretty fun..food should be an experience and enjoyable...
Counter Burger has that too if you build your own burger...toppings...sauces...bun choices...cheese choices and sides! Giant English muffins and Hawaiian are 2 bun choices.

Love your reactions compared to the usual ones at buffets. Clearly that you were wowed by the dim sum. It’s a good thing that you ordered pretty much the favorites. Next time I recommend you to try the minced pork over rice. Those are to die for!
Osmanthus is an edible flower and it's made into a jam. It's amazing with steamed lotus.
Food looked really appetising plus the hot mustard expression was funny.

another reason why i love the palms. We have this here in california too, and everyone loves it! i hope they bring back the kaos club , that was a big part of the grand opening of palms .
It's a must try. By the way your suppose to mix that hot mustard with soy sauce. That's why they give you that little mixing dish. Enjoyed the video as always.

At Won KOk in Chinatown LA they have the best BBQ buns for like $2.00 each and they are huge. Pork Chops with special sauce is also incredible $7.99

I had to Google osmanthus as I had never heard of it before. The flowers of the osmanthus are used in teas, as well as flavoring. The flowers look tiny, so that would be the little bits suspended within the jelly. Glad you liked it 😃

Must go to the ones in Hong Kong absolutely mind blowing and cheap. The exchange rate makes US prices too high. Typical lunch is $15 in Hong Kong. Vegas $30-$35.

when i was in vegas in oct was walking to palms from gold coast. part of the sign was hidden and thought they HAD opened a tim hortons! was excited until i saw rest of the sign

Hey Dereck! I was staying at the Palms and in the casino the day THW grand opened. I heard this giant noise. I went to investigate and there was a long dragon making its way through the casino. They were all celebrating he grand opening. It was a spectacle. It was lunch time and as I was planning to go to my brother and sister-in-law’s home for dinner, dim sum sounded great for a light lunch. I only had three plates including the spicy pork dumplings. It was just as you reacted to them, amazingly good. Everything was delicious! Next trip, I’m going back again and hopefully bringing my family to get more variety. That desert one looked amazing. Thanks for your review.
