Man, I'm in a tough spot! I saw your review on the days and im stuck between getting the Benkei or the days in the 70X version. Which one of the two rods did you like most or recommend? they both look good and everyone online has only good things to say about the two rods. Thanks man!
BOTH! 😁 Seriously, both are great rods. Tough, reliable and darn pretty. Price tho. Benkei is almost half the price of a Days. IIRC Days is lighter than Benkei. Either way you're set with either rods. Good luck! 😁
Benkei's travel series is a good buy. I heard a lot of good stuff about it but I'm not a big fan of any rod that's beyond 2 piece but that's just me. Depends on what you're catching. Bass in open waters with a 10-12g crankbait? Absolutely. If you have to yank it out of vegetation, I highly recommend you get MH at least.
When ordering the 69MH did you order the 1 piece or 2 piece... sounds like a dumb question, but some JDM 1 piece rods still come as two pieces with the handle being the removable portion.
2 pc with the segment in the middle. I think you're referring to them butt-jointed sections. True, some Asian brands come with those so you really need to dig deeper about their specs.
Hello brother! I have yet to get a 2.7mts baitcasting rod. Once I do, I'll let you know. :) I hope this google translate is accurate: Hola hermano! Todavía tengo que conseguir una caña de baitcasting de 2,7 mts. Una vez que lo haga, te lo haré saber. :)
4pc rods are good if you travel a lot and you catch sizable fish every time. But since you fish for catfish, you might need a more solid rod. Like a 2pc H instead of MH.
It depends on how you do your math. If you want performance but price and portability is an issue, Go get the Benkei. Helios rods have pretty much the same specs and are all 1pc rods as per Okuma except for the ring guides. Benkei is using Fuji guides and reel seats. Okuma is using their proprietary guides. Benkei is approx. $110 USD vs Helios' $150> price point.
I respect that, brother. Each angler have their own experiences with brands. So far Majorcraft haven't not failed me yet and I kept pushing their limits to this day.
@@cohatch1 To each his own, brother and we must respect that. I think MC is a great rod brand but some of our fishing brothers and sisters have either different tastes or got the shorter stick.
Hell yeah, thanks for this review man !
Thank you for watching! Glad you like it :)

I can't find any video about Benkei travel casting rod. Would you recommend 6'6" M/M for cranking?

Then travel rod is your go-to rod. IIRC Benkei travel rods come in UL-MH ratings.

Benkei 704h travel rod... details
I'm looking to purchase one, but is this saltwater rated?
No it's not. I have fished with it on brackish waters though. Probably you can use it on salt as long as you rinse it with fresh water afterwards.
This Benkei what year product?
If memory serves, 2015-16 ish. :D
How heavy can you go on this rod? Is it actualy 1 oz or can it go a bit heavier?
I tried 30g on this for flipping. I'm way to careful with my rods.. 🤣
Ang dami mo talagang rod boss ganda nyan

Major Craft makes one of the best rods in the market but their rod mottos are ridiculous lmao
XD agreed. I have no idea who makes their rod mottos.. must've been drunk when it happened. LOL
Sorry for my opinion but Major Craft are the worst rods i have ever seen in my life.
