- I had the opportunity to build out this truck for a friend of mine. He gave me the go ahead to "go big" and that's exactly what I did.
Triple Bypass from King, Magnussen supercharger and much more.
This thing drives as good as it looks and now has the power and suspension to deliver.
Stoked to be tackling some unique projects with the additional shop space!
please go check out realtruck.com for everything from bumpers to tires

That’s a rad taco! I really like the labeled heatshrink. Keep the killer builds going 👍🏼
You, your work, your build & your truck is truly amazing. Someone like you who knows what your talking about, deserves a truck build like this!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I appreciate that!
Many would love to see some 2011 to 2013 Suburban builds. They’re the ones that came with the all aluminum 4th Generation LS motors, 5 link rear suspensions and struts up front.
Hmm. If I could get my hands on one!
Merricks Garage The Flex Fuel ones came with the bigger injectors, stout fuel pumps and can run race gas as well as E85. :)
The Marlin Crawler IFS kit was just coming out when you built this, it moves the WB forward 2" and has a bomb proof steering rack / RCV axles warrantied to 40". Only weak link now is the yoda hub bearings over 35"
Great fun!
SWEET!!!!!!! as always. 👍
But you haven't started on my 87 k5 yet!!! Lol
I'm glad things are working out for you; your builds are awesome!
As a Toyota guy that loves your channel, LOVE IT! Also, we refer to the current V6 as the 4 point SLOW! haha
i think the old ford rangers/explorers are the OG 4 poinnt slow
tell him to also check out YotaWerx Tuning for a tune for that Magnuson SC
My girls 2010 Dodge Nitro uses that same "large balls" joint on one side of her front drive shaft.. They call it a "prop shaft" or Propeller shaft; when it uses those type joints.. Many different vehicles use it; it's almost as common as the standard U-joint
I know them as Birfields.
@@MerricksGarage Interesting. I've literally never heard a name for them before. Cool.. you learn something everyday.
Nice build. I'd love to see how you wired up your cyclones under the Burb. Saw the pics on your IG. Thinking of doing the same on my truck build
What state r u in now? I'd love to get ur advice on a 3/4 or 1 Ton truck to pull my family's camper to do volunteer work and my suburban. Hoping to get them started soon so hopefully we can pull out for disaster relief work and stuff like that. We want to make sure we build them up a little to be safer with our children. I like the Toyota stuff as well man keek it flowing.
I am in Cali
Where do you get the labeled wire terminals or is it the heat shrink?
I use a label maker and then then clear heat shrink. Works perfectly
I need to do a video on it
Great Tacoma 👍
Are you going to take us for a ride? Just on the streets? Did you do a before? so we can feel or see and tell the differences with power, suspension and switching?
Thanks for sharing 👍.
👌🏻✌🏻🙋♂️🌤 🇨🇦 😎.
yea, I am wrapping up some electrical on it right now. The difference is substantial. I need to get another video together when I have the elec done and give you guys some feeback
I should buy a Toyota now.
Ha ha. This one is rad
I recorded this video showing how to remove the CV joint from the axle without having to hammer on it or cut the old axle off. Hopefully this helps: ua-cam.com/video/0gSjbDewBGM/v-deo.html
That knuckle is forged.. and Unfortunately, you may have actually made it hard and brittle now by welding it. lol.. Metallurgy is a tricky thing.
It’s actually not forged. I checked
i just wish pickup trucks were still pickup trucks you know 2 doors not cars with a bed on back. if i wanted 4 doors i would buy a suv not a truck. i just love my 1994 ram 2500 5 speed standard cab. you don't have to haul the whole neighborhood with you
I can’t disagree. I kinda feel the same
Its all just nuts and bolts
exactly. I also like to think if it was designed by a human, I can figure it out!
What's wrong with American made trucks. why are so many people in this country buying trucks and cars from China. Don't you like supporting your own country ,?
Made in Texas. Do your research brother.
Pretty sure many current "American trucks" (ie Chevy, Ram, Ford) are not made in America either. Toyota is the largest automaker in America.
Oh, and Merrick's garage is about 99% old American made truck content, so...
