2005 baby here, I frequently sing 2010's songs to annoy my siblings, so it's pretty well-known in our house 😂Songs like that were all over The Pulse radio back when we lived in the States haha
Syrups like that can spoil and much quicker then you would expect. I use Monin, actually I am sipping my coffee with it right at this moment. The label says to keep it in the fridge, I notice you don't do that. I understand cause lots of people and even businesses don't keep them cold but I noticed that it really helps to extend it's shelf life.
It seems like your coffee could have been the syrup, but maybe your Keurig also needs to be cleaned or descaled? Sometimes when my coffee tastes off it's because of the machine itself. I am dying over the Carly Rae Jepsen panic. You are also making me feel so old because I was in my freshmen year of college when that song came out 🤣
The Carly Rae Jepsen thought spiral is relatable😂😂😂 My initial plan was to write YA, but it has taken me a long time to develop my writing skills and I am now more comfortable writing New Adult/Adult so I went ahead and aged up my characters.
Research has been conducted! A teen born in 2005 knows the song Call Me Maybe and they loved it when they were younger. ❤ But as Robin said, it's considered a throwback 😅
I was in high school in 05 and started dating my (now) husband in 2006. He teaches band (in the school we attended) and it is quite upsetting that babies born then are now his students. I’m not even 35 yet 😭 close but not yet 😭
If it helps: my sister was born in 2004 and she does know and like call me maybe. I understand feeling old thinking about this though: I was born in 1997 and experience this on a daily basis now
If you’re into k-dramas, I’m sure you’ve watched this already… but Boys Over Flowers is a classic. It’s your classic bully romance with a reverse harem feel though the MC only ends up with one guy. It’s older. But it’s one of my favorites. I want to read a book with this vibe now that I’m talking about it. Or maybe I’ll rewatch it again 😅
I loveeee her private life and the love contract. They are my fave kdramas butttt I’m watching my secret romance and while I was like eh at first, once you get to about ep 8 or 9 (I know) it gets soooooo good. There are like 14 eps I think.
I feel your worries on Heavenly Idol, I'm not mad at it but it won't be going into my top 20. I'm watching Delivery Man about a a taxi for ghosts and it's so fun, I can't see how it's going to end, there have already been some twists. About the song, there is always that teen that knows songs "too old for them" I think it works for the conversation you teased in the clip.
My ID is Gangnam Beauty was pretty good :) not my favorite but it was entertaining. The male lead is a little….unemotional? Lol idk if that’s the right word but the actor’s emotional range in this particular drama feels limited
@@starrynightfall00 That’s true! It’s just interesting because he’s been in other dramas where he’s much better so idk if ID Gangnam Beauty was his acting debut and maybe he just grew as an actor after that lol
I’m on episode 10, so it’s definitely going by fast, but my biggest thought is DANG they break the episodes at such lame spots 😂😂😂 episode 9 ended at “don’t let another guy carry you home.” Like you could do a LITTLE more swoon 😂 I feel like his character in this is definitely a little bland compared to his other roles. I feel like this is his True Beauty role just a blander version lol

I'm a 2008 baby and I love that song it used to be my favorite.

It was the whole Carly Rae Jepsen clip for me LOL

My daughter is 13 and she knows it and loves it. it was her favorite song as a toddler.
This makes me so happy, haha!!
My brother was born in 2005, and he does know Call Me Maybe!
I don’t know why I went into a Carly Rae Jepsen spiral but MAN, the amount of relief this gives me 😂😂💕

In the last clip, I think your hair looked adorable. I actually liked the extra little poof it had.
If you feel old, imagine how old I feel writing YA when my teen years are about your lifetime away 😂

They probably consider it a throwback song 💀💀💀💀
AH NO

Call Me Maybe is in a gum commercial right now. :)
I am a 2005 baby from a non english speaking country and call me baby is iconic here!!!! along with a ton of throwback songs
It could be your coffee filter that needs be changed, that happened to my mom 😅.
Def recommend Weak Class hero k drama!
Would recommend to see if you can return the syrup.
My teenager knows Call Me Maybe. I think you’re good.
Haha PHEW!!!

Yeah, for me, definitely not my top. The ending just felt SO rushed! And OOH, I saw a clip of that and it looked fun-I’ll have to check it out!🤩🤩
Carly Rae Jepsen still makes music and it's so good!! But she and I are both millennials so I can't say if teens would know any of her songs 😬
Yes kids still know Call Me Maybe
Have you watched You are Beautiful? It is my all time favorite guilty pleasure drama.
Ooh, I haven’t!!! Putting it on my list!🎉
So... did you put in more sugar or more creamer!?
i think I did both LOL!😉🎉
@@AuthorSarahSutton The right move!
Will there be a writing spirt?
Not tonight-my dad finally has a Friday off from work so we’re hanging out as a family. Next weekend, though!🎉

Lol I know exactly what you mean. Probably because Cha Eunwoo started out as a kpop idol instead of an actor, I guess 🤣

@@AuthorSarahSutton hahaha I totally agree! VERY much the watered down version in this drama lol
maybe u need to clean ur coffee maker. run with vinegar n water then run it with water twice to rinse...
I second this.
I actually just cleaned it before I moved-it was definitely the spoiled coffee syrup haha. My coffees taste yummy again now that I got new syrup
