Impressive especially on the exhaust clamp bolts, seen many of them turn to dust at the site of a socket. Had no idea it existed. I live in a'rust belt' area, the land of continuous rain, as Billy Connolly once said "There are two seasons in Scotland, June and Winter", rust is everywhere.
I just got done with a front end job on my car and this tool would have done so much for me! thanks for the video man, I think I’ll look into getting one.
@@MrSubaru1387 Yeah, a few months ago I finally gave in and got a Milwaukee impact atleast because I couldn't take it anymore! Now Im onto the next thing on my list. Lol
just got one to work on my subarus ! and found you, subscribed! also : Dont ask yourself if its worth the buy, its a clear yes. No flames, Pinpoint Heat Edit : and no wire burn, only heat ferrous metals
Problem is I've already suffered through so many rusty bolts that I refuse to buy anything within 300 miles of where I live because it's all rusty junk... it's worth it for me to get cars from down south and Fluid Film the underneath every winter. So far so good on my '13 Crosstrek that came from North Carolina! No rust yet! Again, thanks for the videos, I've saved thousands of dollars doing my own maintenance.
Have you had any luck at all using this on bolts seized in a bushing sleeve, like in a lower control arm? Or has it helped on those stubborn Subie LBJs? I finally just ordered this, been a long time coming.
A neat tool, but probably not suitable for me as i live in Australia and we still have rust free cars from the 80s and 90s still XD Crazy to see 10 year cars nearly rusted out
Brilliant video thanks for taking the time to do this as very helpful to me I hope ..Going to have to get this as I need to get my 61 Cadillac Coupe Deville original headers off as they are cracked and the bolts are notorious of snapping when undoing so hoping this will work, even though it’s expensive to buy in the UK😄🙏have great day
I'm wondering... Does the induction gun work on non ferrous metals like aluminum or something like that? I'm guessing not since it works off magnetism.
So pretty impressive until you said propane torch, already bought this, it’s been on the wish list for a long time, pull the trigger no regrets already paying for itself
@@MrSubaru1387 would just need the extra long coils so they could be bent at a 90* and the gun would clear everything? It gets really tight on the jdm cars with the brake/clutch masters right there. The amount of down pipe studs I've had to snap or cut from the nut stopping half way off is frustrating, especially with a bell mouth downpipe since you have zero access.
At 11:59min why would he push down hard to tighten knowing is wrong way n then push up n loosens quickly 🙄. Can’t even advertise with honesty. We know that it works all induction heater tools but why the deception

You're welcome 👍🏻
It could potentially clean up my vocabulary when under the truck... I'm not sure how I feel about that. 😂
😂 😂 😂 😂
That would sure come in handy up here in Nova Scotia! You would have a much easier time finding test subjects around here😄
Even though im in Florida where I have no rust, this is a cool tool dude.
Im in Illinois and one of these is definitely on my Christmas list
I bet!

that was cool, I never knew they made induction heating coils for this purpose
Wow...Science! That can certainly save a lot of time and potential damage around more delicate parts!
Definitely a great tool for dealing with rust! 👍🏻
@@MrSubaru1387 I'm up in Eastern Ontario, Canada, and we get some ugly rusty undersides. I have a 2012 Forester X and dread looking under it.
Very impressive video, thank you so much for posting it.

Mag torch, PB blaster, and fluid film run in my blood here in wisconsin. Need to give this a try itll probably save me plenty time.
I fluid film under my 2011 Subaru outback to keep the rust at bay. I'm in NW Wi Sawyer county.

I'm really impressed with this tool. Hi from Spain. Cheers
Great tool. If I ever escape Cali I’ll have to get one!😂😂
Run while you can! 😂
Run before the wall goes up,
I’ve been eyeballing these for awhile
Definitely a solid tool.

I thought the coils aren't supposed to touch the surface?

Yeah. Honestly don't get much rust here in the south. Unless cars migrate this way. Lol
thats awesome
but you guys have flying spiders so im still staying away

very nice and impressive.....great tool!
Wish I had one. 😂
I need one of those Venom HD ..what's the cost...of that. I live in NY so rust is a problem lol
Links are in the video description. 👍🏻
i wonder if this could help with the ball joint pinch bolts!
It definitely does.
Even ball joints in general you can heat the stud up and helps break the rust bond for sure
I'm wondering... Does the induction gun work on non ferrous metals like aluminum or something like that? I'm guessing not since it works off magnetism.
No. Has to be ferrous.
@@MrSubaru1387 What I was thinking, but thanks for the quick reply and love the videos!
Should work well on a ferrous wheel 🙃
Is this tool safe to use around alternator for example positive stud?
That is awesome
💯

How well would this work for AVCS cam bolts?
lmao u forgot the gloves for probably the hottest object in the video
My boss just got one off the snap on truck
Nice!
12:02 You really did sound surprised!

Love it!!
If it doesn't fit around the downpipe for the nuts I don't care. Those are really the only fasteners that give me troubles
Definitely would work for downpipe fasteners.
