      @@ajitd1521 The size and thrust of the Williams engine is made to fit in the plane. It would be impossible to replace it with our homegrown HF25 engine. The power difference is quite much. Also, I am sure Tata don't want to spend more money on re-engineering an already very well performing jet.

    First plane was built in India, was flown near Mumbai in 1895. the whole concept was stolen by an american company and the man who built was eventually killed after some time. then that design went to lot of companies and people in US. but no one could built the exact same as that plane was wireless and ran on "mercury vortex engine" which no could even built today

      +Leo ybrv Foram usados os 2 combinados - o chamado carbon fiber composite, e juntos aumentam a rigidez, pois apenas a fibra de carbono, apesar de leve, fica muito maleável e frágil.

    I disagree. Producing expensive premium cars is what will save jobs and production in Germany. You produce almost 6 million units a year, half of which are BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Porsche. European countries that mostly produce small cars will have to shut down several factories.

    • @miles2378

      Honey-comb material is a complimentary material to Carbon Fiber.

    • @1596357martin
      @1596357martin 8 років тому +1

      +Leo ybrv Honeycomb is used in combination with carbon fibres to build a so called "sandwich" structure. this is more stiff than a pure fibre shell whilst the core adds only a little bit more weight. in the video the fibres are missing in the shell. what you can see is the honeycomb layed in the mould for demonstration...

    Dr. Hans von Ohain was the inventor before Frank Whittle and his engine with multiple compressor is the one used in almost all engines today ..Frank Whittles single compressor engine in long history..

    carbon fibre cant hold its wealth creation like lithium metal alloy can so the economy is useless and one scratch and your grounded plus resale value falls like the space shuttle and so your not realy getting value for money with these miracle fibres as well the new 130 nose spar swivel angle rule and the lift centroid creation forward of the c/g is absolutely esentual to know or else you have a divergent aircraft under high stress modulus rules .. give me metal any time .. skeatesy

    I am an Engineer who worked with Porsche and did airbags for all of Europe. Interned at Porsche.
    Father was a Professor of economics.
    Cipfalco has is right. I found that a Mercedes engineer was worse than a GM engineer. The only engineers that were "good" were Porsche's. Their Mooney airplane engine was a total failure.

    about Indian contribution ? u have no idea bro. you might wana study some history books about the plastic surgery's invention, body surgery etc etc. ancient Indians did all that. about this plane design it was flown in 1895 chaupati beach near Bombay. the reason they couldn't preserve the records is bcoz British were ruling that time. people were killed, slaved, tortured brutally. so pay them some respect. if India didn't have knowledge then why all ancient universities in India were burned ?

  • @rahulchawla4415
    @rahulchawla4415 11 років тому

    first thing only say when u know. u said wrights invented first thing airplane wasn't invented, it was made. second if u have any knowledge, Brazilians made airplane before wrights. you can find numerous records of flights before wrights. FYI the aerodynamics of wright plane is considered as worst that's why they couldn't fly their design. it was just a design not a flying aircraft. if these kind of designs are first aircrafts then u might wana go back to 300 BC bcoz attempts were done then too

    If you want performance you need new aerodynamics and engines. Nothing really new here. Just more expensive chariots for the elite. Nothing cost effective. Nothing useful on a daily basis, just more mindless use of a material on old designs. Time to move on.
    What is possible? 2 cents/mile with four people, roadable door to door. No more hired pilot. All this carbon stuff is very expensive. Can't see out, hard to fix and on and on. Useful? No.
