Since Ho & Pringle Productions make the hippest vids I will present my idea for a "new" move here. The jist is instead of maneuvering in, around, and through the lip (dancing around the lip) the surfer instead seeks to impact the lip in full force with the impact power of the lip blasting the rider in the air, forward towards the shore in which survival tricks are employed (sticking the landing). The powerful lip strikes the board and surfer center mass on the board bottom (crouching, gripping the edges of the board) and the surfer goes flying through the air landing in the wash. Well that's it. Doesn't seem safe really but wow if someone could stick it just right it would look cool.
Is this not just an air? Think Matt Meola does this manoeuver pretty well.
