Final track definitely deservers a studio vs. live, as others have said the PALP festival is the one to check out. I already know you'll prefer the live version
Probably the best version of the title track is the one from PALP Festival from last year. It is worth watching and listening, because the views are wonderful and the song is played fantastically.
Its right in that 60s short song feel this one, love it. Cookie's a big fan of Paul McCartney's bass work so imagine the Beatles had a big influence on this!
I’m going to go against the grain, but go with Live in Brussels ‘19 for the title track, after the studio version. Not sure there’s video of it, but that show was released as part of their bootlegger program so it should be available.
Red Rocks or PALP version of the title track is an absolute requirement for the next video, the studio version is amazing but the jams they do live elevate it to insanity
Perfect thing to start my day with! I love this song, not much to really say. Just a nice 60s pop song, reminds me of some earlier Beatles stuff. Gotta love some Cookie! Final song, the title track, and the first King Gizzard song in an odd time signature (specifically 5/8). The story goes that Stu listened to his car alarm and just got lost in the rhythm, and after he wrote this song he realised it was the same rhythm as his car alarm. Basically King Gizzard became a prog band because of a car alarm.
I think you should do Sketches next. It’s got tons of instrumentals and I think you’d appreciate what Cavs and Lucas are doing. Easily the most dense album and one of the best produced
THE NEXT SONG IS MY FAVORITE GIZZ SONG OF ALL TIME!!!! WOOOOO
Definitely react to the palp festival Float Along Fill Your Lungs for the next one. Incredible song, performed beautifully.

(Lucas did not play any of the bass on Sketches, it was split between Stu/Joey/Cookie/Alex)
