Can Glass Conduct Electricity?

Most people would consider glass to be and electrical insulator... but what would you say, if I told you that glass can be made to conduct electricity? A while a go a made a video on Nernst Lamps. It is possible to make an incandescent lamp from a heated ceramic.. it turn out that when you heat zirconium oxide up enough.. it start to glow, white hot, and conduct electricity. Is it possible to do the same thing with glass? Can you make a Nernst lamp from a piece of glass? We will find out in this video!

That's pretty interesting . I wonder if you will get more stable results if put some p dope or n dope Chems in the gap . Maybe borax etc

I was thinking of something like alumina next... or possibly more exotic materials....
