Those flowers are gorgeous! Your mom did a great job picking them out. Spring Montage is really coming along. It looks great. Yes. that was the bag I screwed up to begin with. I've had it done since January. I had trouble finding the right size box/envelope that wouldn't ruin the vinyl, so I included a few other goodies that I thought you might like that kept the vinyl from folding in on itself. I have the same French General bag and love it. I drape it over the arm of the couch so everything is accessible and then fold it up when I'm stitching away from home. I put a piece of quilt batting in the needle holder because I thought the felt was too stiff. I'd love to see how you use yours. Have a wonderful week!

Ha ha! That's what my mom kept telling me! Apparently you have to water plants - who knew??
@@czookstitch488 I was replying as I was watching Ronny and Gary and then the video stopped and I lost my response...lol. Hahahahahaha I know right....who knew?....LOL! I have an iris plant (I think that's what it is) and it keeps growing leaves but no flowers...there were flowers when my nieces and nephews gave it to me for Mother's Day about five years ago. I'm not sure what I'm not doing....LOL!!! It said to water once a week so I picked Thursday as a day to remember it (Thirsty Thursday....LOL!!!!). I kept it because it kept growing something....leaves....hahahahaha.

Hint on watering your plants. If you have chlorine in your water you'll want to put some water in a pitcher and let it set for 24 hours. Some people catch rain water to water to water their plants. Hope this helps. Did your mom say how often to water them?
Thank you so much! My mom read your comment and then texted me that I should follow your directions. :D She said to water daily for the ones in pots (unless it rains of course). Especially once it heats up, but I'm watching them closely!

I'm doing "Beautiful Things" over 1 on 28. I was struggling, until it dawned on me that I needed a bigger needle. I'm working with a 24 now and I'm having a great time .
That's a great tip and something I hardly ever thinking of (my needle), but is so important!

Hello and welcome back my sweet friend! Your coleus and flowers are beautiful. I recognize most of them but what kind of flower was the one you showed after the begonia? It is a pink and white flower if that helps. Bless your mom for planting your flowers for you. So glad you enjoyed your visit from your parents. You are so blessed that your parents are able to help you up so much when they do come to visit. I won't get much stitching done over the next few days I am sure. I have Walter starting today (Saturday the 25th through about 4 p.m. Sunday, then get him back Monday afternoon until after family dinner on Wednesday night so that Kristal can work the special election to earn some extra cash. This grandma is going to be wiped out by the end of it. I am already so far behind, as you can tell from my timeline in commenting on your floss tube, and will only get further behind with Walter here so much. I love the fact that you are Superior Mother and took the title to heart in the challenge. I am done with the bonus challenge technically but want to finish up the last thread of what I had cut off. Beautiful Girl is coming along nicely. I love that piece so much already! Spring Montage is growing beautifully. I love that you are filling it in so the piece is filling in nicely. Great job on hitting 5%. Your Hummingbird Garden is turning out very well. I worked on mine this month and am struggling less with my fabric so got some decent progress. I am still struggling with finding a good rhythm with it though. I am sick yet again with mucus, sinus drainage and coughing. I am torn between refilling the antibiotic and letting it go until I go see the ENT specialist on 6/4 at this point. Just so tired of feeling like pooh! The flowers are lovely….i was in the garden yesterday working on the planters I got for Mother’s Day and like you, had little time to stitch. 150 exams are on their way to me with a two week turn around time so the rest of May will be a blur of bad penmanship….does no one know how to use a sharp pencil these days? But then I have money in the bank to spend on stitching so all is well. Take care.
