Just viewed this excellent footage. Thanks for making this terrific video. Although capturing the Queen Mary's graceful lines, your video also exposes the neglect that stresses urgent attention. It appears that the most urgent work is inside the hull (bilge, power, etc which Alex the Historian covered in his latest engaging documentary), your video shows the extent of lifeboat, deck, and paintwork deterioration. Essentially, the City of Long Beach is facing a monumental bill to keep the Queen Mary "shipshape" and one can't help but worry about their pockets being deep enough. Empty, yes, crumbling, yes, however, please don't perpetuate the term "haunted" as this adjective has nothing to do with the Queen Mary.
One of my favorite ship wish she could be back to her Fame Glory. Still wish she was took more care of. Long live the gueen. She will always be part of us no matter what.

Long live the QUEEN MARY, my late Grandfather joined her in 1936 at her shipbuilders John Brown & Sons at Clydebank Scotland and my father joined her in 1953. I like my predecessors joined the Cunard Line in 1983 and I have had the opportunity to visit the QUEEN MARY at Long Beach, California on several occasions and I have taken my father on one of those. The story regarding the QUEEN MARY being "haunted" is just a myth purely for publicity purposes. As normal people would agree upon, ghost's don't exist in reality as they are just a figment of one's personality, just like God is.

For example, the Long Beach officials visited the ship in April during a consultation with the health departments regarding the possibility of using her as a hospital ship. The fact that you wrote that "Not a human being allowed on it since covid. Simple" is factually incorrect. I made my comments before even viewing your video. I then watched the footage purely based on the fact that I have strong links to the ship. Your title is pure click bait. The footage was excellent but it's fairly obvious from the title of the video that it's totally incorrect. The QUEEN MARY may well be deteriorating in many areas which is to be expected from a vessel that is 84 year's old but in recent years she has been totally repainted and externally she looks the best that she has ever looked since her initial transformation into a hotel/museum ship in the late sixties. I'm sure that you will get the likes that you are looking from those that are uninformed or read the title as it is.
@@jeromesevy1112 The Queen Mary like many other attractions will eventually re-open once the Coronavirus pandemic is fully under control but that obviously won't occur until after Dictator Trump loses the election. There's absolutely no reason for the Queen Mary not to re-open. Due to the layout of the ship and the amount of people that it attracts, social distancing should not be too much of a problem. Your obviously believe in conspiracies, I for one don't engage with those that engage in ridiculous conspiracies. I won't be responding to any further comments from yourself.
I wouldn't say crumbling. When it comes to paint Sea Air and conditions even in port tends to ravage paint horrifically no matter what you do. I Know the video title is click bait still the fact she was repainted recently does help keep her intact longer. Hopefully when Covid is over the Queen Mary's current owners will try to do what they can to encourage customers and the state and city to take better care of her. Giving a history lesson doesn't work. (that much last year was obvious) Encouraging them of a future however does work. One that involves something that benefits them. Like say restoring a old ocean liner so it attracts more customers to a certain city in California or improving the area its into something better. (they could have had that for Disney Sea -_-)
