Simon is just being honest and frank in his words I do agree with his actions speakes louder and his words are more clear and more louder. I do like his Frankness.

I always have loved Simon (I am 76 and could be his gran). Simon was always truthful in his remarks, though he had a bite to the words. He has mellowed since he had a son. He smiles more, to the eyes, a good sign. What not to like? The white undershirt as daily wear. With his personality, it fits. I find him fun, opposite funny. My family considers him “mom’s boy”. Thank you for being you.
He's NOT mean... he's bluntly truthful, which people mistake for mean. He's straight forward which I respect totally, you can't sugar coat success or give false hope to the contestants that they may actually be able to succeed, when they shouldn't. Simon's that Guy to let them know the harsh reality & truth!
He really is a true music producer/magus. He can see the potential in an act, the future direction of the acts abilities, the talent's learning curve and passion. And his bar is high. If you're not ready to step up to the plate (or don't have IT to begin with) don't waste his time.

No, instead he picked himself up, dusted himself off and started again. He has earned his success and deserves to be respected. As for his reputation as being rude, hurtful, mean it can be summarised in one word - honesty. Do I have any personal negative criticism? Yes, why is there no mention of charities or organisations he is affiliated to. I know he loves dogs, so do I but does he support RSPCA or humanitarian societies. This is not an attack on Simon himself but I would think it worthy of a comment as much as his possession of luxury cars and a personal jet.

I believe he is excellent at what he does. As a child singer and actress in the 50s and 60s I was auditioned quite a number of times. Sometimes successfully sometimes not. The manner of those who auditioned me was not dissimilar to that of Simon. In fact he ofter is nicer than some that I met. What I do see is that he is scrupulous in his judgement. Looking for, not only his own taste in music but keeping a firm eye on his audience to see their reaction. Because of his background as an A and R man and producer he knows what will be successful and what won't. He is fallable But is professional and I admire and respect his work.

I think Simon has a finely tuned ear when it comes to marketable voices, and just good singing. I've often agreed with him, though not his manner of saying it. His brand of honesty does cut people. Maybe he'll understand it someday. But he's not mean minded. There have been many moments when he has displayed emotional maturity and empathy. I like it that he has the courage of conviction.
Brought up in west/north Europe I was 15 & a half when I had my final "official"Exams.(Most kids start/go back to school late August,being born in October I was one of the youngest pupils in class.)June 02,still 15 & officially done with school.Now you can basically do whatever you want.Most teens will have another 3 yrs after the summer holidays. (There are several different schools to choose from but you have to apply & to get accepted by the best schools you'll need good grades) You will get a scholarship for books & so on,but some youths don't feel ready/are fed up with school due to bullying or other issues so despite being under age, no parents(Or anyone else) can make you go to School.3 yrs-3 yrs-3 yrs.And I'd highly advice most teens another 3 yrs.Every European country has it's own school system though.
