- Hello all,
Thought this a perfect time to sit and stitch Andromeda's skin 1 over 1 and chat with my lovely Flosstube friends to make it a little less boring stitching one colour.

Hi ...fab stitch along ....get better soon ....you are doing well with your project ...happy stitching ....xxxxx
My daughter went to Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena California. She had a small apartment and loved it. Of course I visited often. Who else would do her laundry and take her shopping lol She excelled there. After she graduated she moved to San Francisco and worked at a 5 star Michelin restaurant. To say I was proud is putting it mildly. She was a pastry chef and did all of the fancy sugar sculptures. She moved back home when she was 23 to save money while working in Pasadena at another 5 star restaurant. She was planning to get married to her boyfriend of 5 years when she passed away at 25. Your daughter sounds like a lovely young woman. She will find her way. My Kaitlin did.
Hi Laura
I’m very sorry for the delay responding to your message I had surgery so have been a little off the grid. Thank you for sharing your lovely memories of Kaitlin. She sounds like a wonderful talented and loved young lady. I am so sorry for your lose - but love how you share your beautiful memories of her. She was a very lucky girl to have you as her mum helping her so much like 💕
Speedy recovery. Take it easy and just take care of you. We miss you but can wait. You come first.
I do hope you get better soon. It's very frustrating when you are so ill and nothing gets done. That is when one seems to notice all the mess and chores that need doing😣 Spent one day last week sleeping close to 17 hours and dam it's amazing how much 2 other people in the house can create work. Loved stitching with you today.
Teresa, sorry to hear about your health problems. Its tough trying to get up and motivated when you don't feel well. You achieved more than I could of. Lovely to hear you did well with your dancing. Well done. I have a son whose 18 whose quite happy at home. He doesn't feel like he needs to leave the nest anytime soon. Nothing like his mother 😃 Your podcast kept me company while I was hand stitching so it was nice to share a bit of time with you.
I couldn't believe I'm sitting here just listening to your video while I'm getting ready for the morning and you started talking about dancing at Blackpool because my hubby and I were dancing at Blackpool in May! So hello from another stitching dancer!
Oh wow 🤩 another dancing stitcher lol! I’m not very good yet as I’m new to the dancing lol - what category are you in?
Teresa Little Stitcher we compete amateur in the seniors age group for both ballroom and latin. It's just amazing to dance on the floor in the Winter Gardens!
Enjoyed stitching along. So sorry you have been feeling unwell. I hope you will soon be feeling better. Just out of hospital myself and totally exhausted. It's comforting to be able to stitch along in complete calm and listen to someone else. Many thanks.
Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well but best to get it dealt with before things get worse. I was feeling not so well, tired, stomach upset for months, eventually I knew something was wrong but put off getting it seen to. I ended up thinking I might be having a heart attack so-called for an ambulance. It’s a good thing I did, my gallbladder was rotten basically, they said if I hadn’t gone then I very likely may have died, gangrene had set in. It was amazing how much better I feel now, I didn’t realize how miserable I had been feeling for ages, it got bad slowly over time. Hope things work out well, and you feel much better so you can enjoy your summer in the garden. Congratulations on your dancing, it sounds like a lot of fun though I know it’s hard work too. 🙋🏼
I do hope your feeling better sweetie! It pays not to leave these things - I have learn't my lesson in the past too lol!
Hi Teresa, I Love Stitching along with You! I pray that You get through the illness soon and that any treatment You might need won't be too invasive! Your Miriabella is Looking Fantastic mas All Your Works are! Happy Stitching!

Hoping that you will feel better soon. I will keep you in my thoughts and hope you get good news next week. Glad your mom is doing well. Your daughter sounds like a mature young woman with a good head on her shoulders. Congratulations on doing so well at your dance competition. Love your videos! Good luck.
Praying you get better soon. Love your stitch alongs and the one sided conversations.. Have a great day/evening. The best to you and your family..
It's usually a sign of a very happy home life why kids are in no rush to leave home. Well done on your dance , bet that gave you a bit of a lift after feeling poorly x
Hi Teresa. Today I had a new start: Giant Harry Potter and stitched along with you. I know you’re not a Clouds factory fan and actually I’m not much of one either, but I’m a huge Harry Potter fan - Luna actually - and I just couldn’t resist. I hope your tests go well and you don’t need to have more surgery. Hugs from Arizona.
Hope everything works out for you and you will feel better soon. Love the 1 over 1 skin, but so much more work and as you say the outcome is well worth it!
I liked stitching with you today. So sorry to hear that you are ill. Prayers that you don't need surgery.
Hope you feel better really quickly. Congratulations for qualifying. As someone permanently on sick (for the foreseeable future anyway), its the most boring thing in the world and so frustrating/depressing. There is so much that should/needs to be done and no way of doing it. People think its an easy life.
Thank you thank you thank you, I understand doing skin 1 over 1 now! I have Mermaid of Atalntis sitting in the wings and now I am feeling far more prepared to start! I really hope you are feeling better soon and that all your apps and scans go as well as possible 🙂🤞💕
Omg. I just got this today. Ordered all the floss and beads. Hope it come out as good as yours
I loved this video, very relaxing. Remember we are stitching and counting too, Is it your shoulder again? Isn’t that how you started stitching to begin with? Whatever it is I hope you feel better and are not in any pain. My daughter moved out when she was 25 and I cried like a baby. She is married and lives 15 minutes away now and I think it is too far! 😅
Hope everything goes well with your health. Get well soon. I really like hearing you talk.
So very sorry to hear about your health I sure hope that it improves very soon. Happy stitching, hugs Patty BC Canada
Sorry to hear you’re poorly, everything crossed hoping you won’t need surgery xx
Hi Teresa. Hope you feel better soon. Mine moved out to uni etc., and now one of them is back at the age of 31 and the other one is threatening to come back home after uni ... they are both home birds.
Feel better. You’re in my thoughts.
Sorry to hear about your health problem😐. Congrats on your dancing success☺. I'm pleased that your stitches went faster doing the video. There was nothing wrong with this video. Take care and good luck next week x
Really enjoyed this one 😘 hope your health improves x
Beautiful!
My kid moved out at 38!! When he had two collage degrees I said honey I love you with all my heart now get out. He finally did. At first it was had but I got used to it pretty quickly. Hope you feel better.
Congrats for the dance :)
Love your Andrómeda.
There is something I would like to ask you. Can you show your stitching setup? Your Millennium frame and how you put your chart on the fabric. I would love to see it.
Hope you're feeling 100% soon. Hope your appointments next week go well. You made me laugh with your daughter. It's not getting rid of them that's the problem, it's when they want to come back again and bring their girlfriend/fiance with them so they can get some more money together for a house deposit! Especially when you've made their bedroom into your sewing room, lol!
Well done on qualifying for Blackpool as well. I don't know how you do everything you do - Wonder Woman!
Your determination under the circumstances is amazing...you are an inspiration. I can not do 40ct even in my dreams. May I ask what your job is? I would have a hard time dealing with a 2 hour commute on a daily basis. I can understand the difficulty dealing with an illness and feeling the need to attempt normal life. I will be praying for you ... take care!
Was just thinking of you and wanted to come on and say I hope you're feeling better and that your appointment goes/went well.
Sorry to hear you have been poorly! Did you know Lakeside are going to be stocking the Annie's floss storage system soon? I have linked your brilliant review on the Lakeside Facebook page xx
Beautiful work! Do you do a full cross stitch or half when doing the over one? Will be starting the Raven Queen by Mira soon 😊 I hope you are on the mend and back to full health soon!
Hi Trish sorry for the delay in getting back to you. So if the skin is a blend of 2 colours I stitch half in the darkest colour first then the second leg in the lighter colour. If it is one colour then I will stitch all four squares in full cross and mark the chart 😉
My daughter and son are still at home, 22 & 17. My daughter is just the same as yours. Spends a lot of time gaming and studying. She is looking for a local Uni or an apprenticeship. My son has nearly finished an apprenticeship and has been offered a good job. Both mine are homely. They will move out when they are ready. Society is a lot different than when we were their age. More crime etc. and my kids I feel are scared to go out sometimes due to this. So sad really.
I hope you feel better soon. I have questions about stitching skin. Do you do full crosses or half stitches? Do you stitch all of the stitches in one square at a time? I am trying to figure out how to keep track and mark off the stitches and on the pattern.
So sorry for the delay in responding to your question so I usually stitch the time row full cross then come back and do the bottom row so that would count as the full cross on the chart then mark the chart 😉
Teresa Little Stitcher thank you!
Hi Teresa. Hope you get well soon and it is nothing serious. When you have combined threads in the skin, how do you stitch these with 1 over 1 stitching. Thanks.
Hey Tracey
Good question lol! Well I do the darker colour and do the bottom half leg in one colour and do the top stitch half of leg with the lightest colour 😉
I have a question. How do you enlarge the pattern as it is very hard to read the symbols. Are you using two over two with one over one for the face? And what material fabric are you using. Many thanks for your help. It came with a 32 count fabric
Hi Salina, I scan the chart into my goodnotes reader and do it on my Ipad or if I need to have paper I scan a copy and enlarge then reprint. The fabric I'm using is 28 count lugana for mine. I am stitching all the skin showing 1 over 1 and everything else 2 over 2.
Teresa Little Stitcher Thank you so much. I hope you are feeling better my prayers and thoughts are with you. I have gone a little cross stitch crazy and bought five different Mirabilias!I hope they come out as well as yours. Happy stitching, be well, Salina
🤩🤩🤩🤩
Pretty random question but can you remember how long you had to wait for your millennium frame x
Hi Joanne
I’m sorry I have received them as gifts so don’t know when hubby ordered them to know how long he waited for them
@@TeresaLittleStitcher that's ok I'm just not very patient. I want every thing now. I've been binge watching all your episodes from the beginning, I love watching you, I've almost caught up, keep up the good work
I hope everything turns out to be minor.
I don’t like stitching skin either!! Yuck!
