I have a double sleeved deck that I really need to get a better deck box for. so, this video opened my eyes. I probably go for the watchtower.
This is a revelation for me. I too inner hard/dragon shield all my decks, and my only option till now are ultimate guard 200 doubles and I have to take the inserts out to fit the decks sideways.
Now I have to go get a new deck box thanks man...
It has already been ordered 😂 sadly won’t fit in my pirate lab but the extra beauty and function is worth.
The only way to get into our play group is a Gamegenic deck box.
Easily the new standard of deck boxes. The squire holds Ultra Pro Eclipse sleeves, double sleeved with Dragon Shield sealed inner sleeves (essentially triple sleeving) better than the stronghold which was saddening for me to learn

Update from me. I have two of the sidekick 100+ XL and I can fit a deck that is almost 100% foiled out and another that is probably 75% foiled out in KMC's perfect hard inners with Dragon shield outters. In both cases I get most of the deck in the box and then the last few (up to 99 cards) slowly added as a group. With the excess room on top I can either stick my commander card or I have been successful carefully sliding it in the middle of the deck as card #100.

Been using a Sidekick for my main deck for a while now. Can confirm, the magnets hold incredibly well. Good to know that they've upped the size to fit a deck double sleeved in perfect hards! I may finally make the switch.
I still struggle with my sidekicks to fit 100 double dragon sleeved cards in it, and usually have to put 2 cards covering above the deck for it :C

Us too. I (Jim) currently split my boulders in two and use each half to store a deck in a drawer in my filing cabinet. I'm really hoping I can get my hands on like 30 of the trays from inside the watchtower so I can swap them all out. I think it would be really awesome if I could store my decks in trays and have 3 or 4 Watchtowers to pop them into when I'm leaving the house.

I love the UG Boulders but trying to get a double sleeved deck in them is a pain. This might be the ticket.
Ahhh! I just sleeved my Brago deck in Perfect Hards and have been struggling with the deck in 2 Satin Towers. Running to get one of these right now!

The watchtower xl is $15 on Amazon right now just snagged two I’m excited because I’m about to get some perfect hard sleeves for my Ghired deck it just has so much money into it I wanna put it in a safe lol

My only thought with these is how well will the magnets hold up after 1 year or so, especially if it's the only deckbox you'd use. They look very slick though, and i love how easy it is to get the cards out of the box!!!
Oh man I gotta pick a few of these up as I am having the same problem! Swapped over to sealable dragon shields and now my decks don’t fit in my boulders :( do you know if the game genics will fit in a super hive?

Whoa these look awesome! Do you know if these deckboxes can fit an ultrapro minisnap?
They need more color choices. I hate the orange Inner and would prefer a dark gray or black.
A little thing is that unsponsored can mean different things. I would look at Maker's Muse channel for a good example of a review that is not paid for but the product was sent for free.
Can't wait to see some more content and make a few review videos from time to time would be cool.

What outer sleeves were you using? Outer sleeves are different thicknesses as well.

The Gamegenic deck box is amazing. What brand were the mint green sleeves for the first deck?
They're Ultimate Guard Katanas! Great sleeves, but really slippery right out of the box.
I tripled sleeved my Hogaak deck just as an experiment and I have to say that most deck boxes do not fit it
so is it possible to make a comparison video with gamegenic squire, gamegenic squire xl and the ultimate guard boulder?
We could for sure look at doing this once we get get back in the studio together. I (Jim) have a ton of boulders kicking around.
@@TheSpikeFeeders sweet this would be amazing! I cant decide which of the three to get especially because I have 3 decks that are double sleeved but not in the traditional way. They have an even bigger outer sleeve sometimes called a character sleeve or guard sleeve to protect a character art sleeve if that makes since. Because of that I don't know if I should grab only squire and squire xl or if the boulder is enough for most of my decks and squire can handle those oversized sleeves or stuff and also size matters lol.
Anybody try these with dual matte sleeves plus inner sleeves?
My deck is double sleeved with dragon shield inners and outs, and it didnt fit in the squire deckbox (the normal one, not XL) so i had to remove some of my inners for it to fit. My question is: has anyone had this issue? Is there some brand that i can use in order to fit my whole double sleeved deck? Thank you for your help. I bought the normal one cause i wanted to match box color with my sleeve colors.
Are those dimensions on the sidekick and the squire with or without the magnetic flap?
Hey, I just measured the Sidekick for you. The measurements include the magnetic flap. It appears all the measurements (which we got from Gamegenic's website) are of the closed product. - Madison

I have tried fitting them in my arkhive, and the sidekick did not, but Bills Squire did fit.

Pokemon cards are the same size as Magic, so they should fit the same. Yugioh cards are a bit smaller, you would see more gapping in the top so your cards would move around a bit.

Is there really not other good options for fully double sleeved deck? I personally have been using some 150 card see through card holding cases, it does the job when you put the cards sideways, but I thought there were other options too?
Edit : Forgot the name, I'm speaking of UltraPro 150 count boxes if anyone's interested.
Using regular inner sleeves, most regular 100 card deckboxes like the UG Boulder will fit. Rigid inner sleeves severely reduce your options because they add a lot of height.
@@TheSpikeFeeders I have found one other deck box that can handle 100 card decks, almost fully foiled and double sleeved. The Boxgod Titan line.

Edit: Just shoved the Sidekick in my arkhive, I'm going to go with no. Because it's wider to accommodate the thick double sleeves, it doesn't fit well. Gamegenic does make a product similar to the Arkhive though! - Madison
Bill just tried the Squire, and it does fit in the Arkhive. 3 should fit in there with a bit of space left.

I love gamegenic stuff, but my only problem with them is their own deck boxes won't fit in their 1100 card box dungeon. Wtf come on.

@@TheSpikeFeeders I am a bit surprised that you are trying to convince me with a snippet out of the YT guidelines, which in themselves admit that sponsoring in front of the law might have a different meaning.
In addition to that point, this video both fits the description above for "paid product" as well as "endorsements", which would lead you to believe that we are in the same ballpark of content anyway.
Lastly, I would like to add that according to the Cambridge dictionary, who could be seen as a guide on what the meaning of words colloquially means "to sponsor" means:
"to support a person, organization, or activity by giving money, encouragement, or other help"
I don't doubt that Bill likes the deckboxes or that he didn't say his opinion on them but what I want to express here is, that you should not say misleading information like this. Because even if YT might be fine with how you phrased it, your viewers (at least me) does not understand it this way and even the law might have a different understanding (which YT felt responsible to specifically mention themselves)
