Damnit. I was laying down and choked on my own spit of laughter when "The guy from Fortnite" popped up on my phone. Good stuff. I watched it a couple of times during the event and absolutely loved it. I won't spoil it for anyone though but my rewatch fix isn't satiated yet. I eagerly await for the UA-cam Premiere Mr. Gilded!

One of the things i love in this animation is how the father just throws everything at gildedguy.Even a literal golden house.Showing how he doesn't care about these things. Money or material things don't compare to how much he loves and cares for him. Literally wasting it all just to keep his son and make sure he gets a stable life in the future
I read it as a personal story between Gilded and his actual dad - figuring the dad wanted to provide for his son, leaving him a business, a house, general stability and the money needed to properly provide and support for the geater joys in life - like raising a family of his own.
But much arguing about inheriting the family business finally lead to the dad admitting it's jut not what would make his kid happy and paying - at least in part - for him to go to art school to follow his passions.
You can also see that gilded worries the work makes his dad miserable, but later you can see that to the dad it's just something you get through to enjoy his time out of work and with his family.
And as a result, gilded (the artist, not the character) gave his parents this animation as a thank you.
Personally I'm just happy to see a father depicted as adversarial but not evil like so much other art. He's not a bad guy, he just disagrees with his son.
It’s deep how, despite abandoning the future that his father set up for him, Gildedguy still used the welder’s helmet from his work as his first set of adventure armor. And even though he resisted his son’s dreams, the father’s gold still served as an invaluable protection for GildedGuy in his battles (even if over time the original gold was being slowly replaced due GG having to patch up his broken armor). So in reality, Gildedguy’s own power is the neon ink while his iconic armor represents his father’s legacy.

I think it's quite beautiful how despite his father not being able to see the star himself, he sees it in his son's eyes and that's enough to convince him that he's on the right path.
Are u sure he is GG's father? Im actually confused right now. So is he his manager or his father?
@@pandanarian7625 That guy is Gildedguy's manager and father. The end of the video shown that Gildedguy call him "Pa", and a message "Thanks for watching... over me."
You described perfectly the scene. Take a like
That’s why Gilded keep seeing himself in his place, why the guy tried so hard to keep Gilded on, and why he gave Gilded a silver version of his Foreman hat.
That part hit different
As well as the part where he could see his father unhappy with life despite having all the money he could ever need
(or was it him in the past - painting as well??)
My favorite part about this whole thing besides literally all of it, is that he got the armor because the paint welded the gold together. Super powerful "create yourself" moment. This was so well done & I loved every second of it, the soundtrack fits perfectly!
edit: this animation is the single reason i have Gold Rush on my spotify playlist and ive listened to it about a thousand times by now XD
Same here
The song itself is pretty good though.
That’s something I’ve been kinda confused about. Is the ‘paint’ welding the gold or is gildedguy (who I presume is the son of the business man with gold manipulation powers) just manipulating the gold himself to a weaker degree than his father but enough to meld it to himself… I kinda like your idea more since it leans in to the ‘make yourself’ stuff you were talking about but in other places, like animation 7 where Gildedguy takes his helmet and gloves to put them on the back of his sword to let them fly With it the helmet and gloves kinda morph when they’re spun. Like they change shape and weld together. I dunno, just something I’m really curious on
Ooh that actually never occurred to me, but it is a good theory! ...Maybe it's both?
I really love how gildedguy went from being an amazing swordfighter to a full fledged all rounded character, it makes me tear up when I think about it.
The golden house is such a nice detail, it shows that Pa did not hesitate to throw his entire fortune away just to keep his son with him.
Hell, it's decorated; Picture frames, tiles, a fireplace (I think), I'm willing to bet it's Gil's childhood home. Either irl or just here.

Gildedguy was a man who had everything in his life, a good family, a job with good payment and co workers, definitely a successful life, yet, if he kept living that comfortable and daily lifestyle he'd end up not living his dreams, what he really wanted to do or face the challenges that life had for him.
He didnt have a family he had friends
@@SonicCGames I mean, his mom and dad could be considered his family.
@@SonicCGames he definitely had family. The boss of the factory and the wife of the boss are his parents (just look at the "ma" and "pa" at the end, with "thanks for watching over me"). It's a case of parents wanting something for their kid (here for Gilded to become the new boss of the factory once his father steps down) that, while good on paper, simply is uncompatible with their child's dreams.
@@thorveim1174 Yeah and this techincally means the first oppenant Gilded fought (even through it was less a fight and more resistant vs. determination) was his own father as we saw his father throwing gold to stop his son staying from the path and Gilded fighting though it getting his first gold armour set
@@blackdemonknight the gold armor is more a decision from gilded than something he fights for. basically if he was to become boss, he'll have plenty og gold and makeeveryone happy at the price of being miserable himself.. the gold armor then being a way to still gring gold (and in his book, happiness" to others while still chasing his dream of adventure. (also mixes with what we knew of gilded before, that he wore gold because he thought its a color that makes others happy)
I can just imagine Abigail’s reaction as soon as Gilded launched off immediately
An interesting piece to note is when gilded guy finally escapes the grass, the art style reverts back to when he fought Fry for the first time (notice how the gold is super bright and the lines are sharp). Interesting and beautiful touch to show the new world he’s stepped into
Dang, gildedguys first opponent was his own dad. And it's not like his dad was a bad guy either. It's the situation of family trying to set you on a path they want for you but you ultimately want a different path to walk. Gildedguy would've had it all set for himself but he wouldn't be happy because it's not the life wants.

The paint gildedguy used to leave the paint factory was made by washing the drawings of what he wanted for his future. He used his dreams to attain his dreams, it’s pretty poetic
Thanks for the explanation
I did not notice that thank you!
I used the dreams, *TO ATTAIN THE DREAMS*
People who believe in Working hard to achieve their dreams: NO YOU CANT DO THAT
Gildedguy: I use dream to attain dream
Also, in the bucket we can see a water drop with a red X on it, indicating they shouldn't drop water on it, but that's exactly what GG did, and it created a magical substance made out of a painting (which, like you said, was what he dreamed about)
There's something so absolutely perfect about Gildedguy's dad not being able to see the star himself. Only being able to see it in his son's eye.
To him there's no future in the life his son is pursuing, but he can read, on the face of his child, that Gildedguy does see a future, the point at the end of this road where he can be happy and fulfilled, a tangible destination. In the end, the father must have faith. Faith not in the existence of the star, but in his son's drive and ambition.
Congrats to Rebonkulous, really went above and beyond and worked on all the art teams.

and also GGs mom is just a regular loving wife no super power or anything GG probably created the ability.
@@fakeletobr730 I am more towards the side of him inheriting the power to control gold (to some extent, it was pretty obvious it is not as potent as his dad's), but the essence of his dreams (what I call that green glueish substance) is still his main power that he sorts of awakened by himself. As for the electricity, dude relies on an imaginary power called his dreams to fight in the first place, so what makes you think his imagination, which was part of his dreams, cannot assist in the control of that, since who haven't imagined themselves at least once controlling electricity? Same goes for his suit of Armour, it has some physics defying bits to it too, but given due fact that it was shown to be glued together by his dreams, then the physics defying parts makes sense.

Really gotta love the subtilty of 5:10 - 5:15, Dad AND Mom is more-or-less pleading with their son to stay, pouring money onto him to show there's nothing more that he needs and he has both financial stability and security, if he stays there. Gil even knows it, from a vision of his future; but the only thing lacking is that joy and fulfillment he'd miss out on by deny his dream.
Personally though...I'd probably just let go of my dreams, for the safety, security, and stability that wealth can bring you. Though, with that amount of money, he could always hire a replacement right? Then go about his dreams? Or maybe, he'd be too old and worn out by that time?
I'm also questioning, if that Glint in the sky, is symbolic of Gil's aspirations and dreams, while HE can see, his father can't, because he no longer has any because of his current situation? Kind of like, how children are bright eyed and dream of the future and what they wanna be when they grow up, while us adults who couldn't capture our dreams, and just settled for what we have, and live on day-by-day basis, making ends meet.
A common theory is that the pentagon we see at 6:45 represents the dreams of Gildedguy’s father, but just like how Gil’s father doesn’t see the green star that drives him, Gil doesn’t see the pentagon that represents what his father dreamed of and accomplished.
@victorvirgili4447 That's a really cool theory. Both son and father are dreamers, the difference being that Gil's father dreamed of stability and security while Gildedguy dreamed of freedom and exploration.
Thats really cool, ones more pointy and one’s a structured shape. But both are pentagons.
Aw Gawd is the final shot staggering. Even though he ventured out for a great risk undertaking to what he had set on his heart, he still showed gratitude to his parents. Dis is awesome. It's so heartwarming.
What struck me the most was how you didn't see Gilded Guy's dreams and aspirations by looking at the star he's staring at, but looking at his eyes as he stares. Also how his eyes are filled with dreams and imagination and if you look at his dad's eyes they are filled with gold. Kind of gives extra meaning to Story #5 as well! All of that just from the eyes alone, not to mention everything else!

There's more to it. Old lore about gilded mentioned he wore gold because he thought seeing gold made others happy. And here we see that if he was to become the boss, he could get everything (the girl he had a crush on at work), and everyone would he happy.. except for him, that would feel miserable for having given up his dreams.

I know I have the skills to do it, and I know I love it, but there always felt like something was missing when I drew something, no matter how proud I was of the piece. I think the answer is animation, a single image could never properly express what I want to.
Just realized that “Why would I need gold when I got you” represents how all GG needs is his parents’ support to try and accomplish his dreams
Also could be from his dads perspective, throwing all his gold away at him just to keep him there
I think you guys are looking too much into it and it just means he prefers to use his skills to draw things he likes instead of using those skills to make a bunch of money but still be sad because he doesnt have time to do whatever he wants
I kinda thought that "you" would mean his passion for art, but I can see that too.

Notice how when the father was offering gildedguy the manager and painter jobs the chair he got his son is better and bigger than his. He would've wanted his son to work alongside him as an apprentice then have him work under him as an employee but is still happy when his son wanted to work his way up then be given the job. really shows how much he loves his son and how he puts family above his work.
I also like how he's throwing him endless amounts of gold just to stop him. Like, he's willing to give him mountains of gold to make him stay. And it's conveyed literally and figuratively, that works with the story.
@@jocosesonata I love that symbolism, and it shows his father is a great person, all that gold and wealth is nothing if he can be with his family, and his son

Just to add onto this even though I’m hella late, but he actually stops whatever he’s doing and goes to stop his son. Also during the vision scene we see that GG has a memorial to his father with his watch, showing that while leaving, he was by no means angry with him. They both love each other to death, and ironically, GG acts like his father, placing happiness over money or even his job.

I think this is a direct parallel to gildedguys life. he was wondering what he should become in life and the dad offered up a position at his company. the dad had been hoping he would join since he was a kid, but gildedguy realizes he had a calling for going out there and using a sword and adventuring seeing the world (maybe a direct parallel for guildedguy becoming an animator) but after working there for a long time he got fed up with the same mundane routine and he don't wanna live like everyone else. started to express what he loves to do in the work place by making those nametags for everyone's workplace. he stays late at night working on his craft and working on his dream and he collects all of that in a bucket he uses to paint with. he even rejects the money his father gives him (i think the dad was gonna make him head of the company too with that helmet or give him a higher position)
after some time he charges at the star the battle against his dad is less of a battle and more of gildedguy trying to prove himself to his dad and mom showing them that he can make it in life with his calling and something he wants to do outside of the company, a trial and conversation in one fight.
so he goes at the green star (or his dreams) but his dad is in the way and his dad literally showers him with money showing him that he has everything he need right here and he doesn't need to go and gildedguy almost loses to this ideal but he gets avision, of his dad building his life for the ground up and getting everything a person would want, money, a family, a business and even a cat but you see that the dad had to drop his hopes and dreams of becoming whatever he wanted to be on that paper (maybe an adventurer what gildedguy what's to be now) and you can see empty paint buckets all around him saying he ran out of his ambition desire to become what he really wanted so he had to settle for a mundane and normal life. (you can even see a picture in the back of that scene with a picture of most likely him with the phrase R.I.P. under it probably meaning that his hopes and dreams and ambitions have died.)
so gildedguy realizing this uses the gold to fight back in a way, trying to reach his father figuratively and literally using his talent and skills to reach the level his father is at while also showing the people watching he can do it too with the creations he can make like the bird, butterfly, and horse statue. in this moment gildedguys eyes get stained green with his paint representing that gildedguy can always see his dreams and he is always focused on it and that's why he can only see the green star in the sky. (the star do 2 things acts as a guiding light for guildedguy to follow and it acts as a reminder to him to follow his dreams)
the dad reaches his hand out the gildedguy near the end of the fight just showing again that this is one big trial to show if gildedguy can prove himself. he succeeds in doing all this and you can see right before he defeats his dad his mother looks worried and starts pleading him to stop by throwing money at him and she probably wonders if he's gonna make it but he does it any way. and his dad gives him a farewell sending him off with a reassured look on his face. guilded guy walks of into the big unknown world with some money (obviously), his bucket of dreams and the paintbrush he uses to express his talent, skills, and dreams and he goes into his first adventure.
"A grey stickman tries to paint a golden future" and he's still trying but from the looks of this video I think he's doing a pretty good job
damn it why did i write this I'm realizing that i did all this for 10 minutes of animation. oh well if you read it all thanks. also nice video gildedguy : )
An excellent explanation thank you I always have to read the comments for GG's videos as I never understand them but love the animation
You absolutely right! o.o
I agree with pretty much everything except the vision bit, I feel like that was HIM instead of his father, and in the last picture, that was his father in the painting with rip written on it, and guilded guy as a burnt out old man If he took the path his father gave him, with a picture of what he could have been seeing as how through the whole vision it was the white hard hat that he was wearing
@@floatybluebirdlive2959 I didnt even think of it like that, I like that even more than mine. it means a lot more to visualize yourself going down a dark past than just some symbolism
@@floatybluebirdlive2959 I agree, it's definitely Gildedguy in the visions.
The CEO has glasses and a yellow hard hat, while the vision shows Gildedguy with a white hard hat, complete with the little point that's also on his mask.
Plus, the vision shows him with Abigail, the girl at the workstation next to Gildedguy that he has a crush on. (Note the painting he washes away when he first notices the green goop)
I know I'm a bit late, but I've watched this a bunch of times, and it really resonates with me. Gildedguy's supposed father (the guy who shoots the gold coins out of a bag) wants him to get a well-paying job, and have a 'normal' (in his eyes) life. But, Gildedguy wants to become an adventurer! However, he does like to draw as well, so decides to compromise by working as an... artist? As time goes on though, he starts to dislike his life. He realizes the money he gets from his job doesn't make him happy, and stops hanging out with friends. This culminates in him flying up into the sky on a paint-bridge thing, to break free. His 'father' tries to stop him, holding him back with money. But in this critical moment, where Gildedguy is getting pushed back, overwhelmed, he gets a vision. He realizes that despite all money can give him, he will grow old an unhappy man. So he decides to push through, and eventually, he manages to reach his father. Finally realizing what his son truly wants, he lets him go.
I feel like this story showcases an important lesson that people just don't know. I've heard countless cases of people going into fields or taking jobs solely for the money, or their parents, without thinking about what THEY want. Without thinking if they'll enjoy it. No matter how good your job is, no matter how much money you make, if you waste the prime of your life, doing something you don't like, what's the point? Perhaps comfort and luxury is not what should be valued, but rather long-term enjoyment, and experiences that will last you your whole life. Anyways, to whoever is reading this, thanks for listening to my rant. I just find it so sad that people will do something that they hate for their entire professional life in order to make money. And I feel that this story perfectly shows the struggle of someone trying not to do that.
Jeez dude you are seriously getting to the point where you could have your own animation studio or something. The quality of your work is just crazy.
Had kind of a feels bad moment with the sudden rejection of Abigail though... she seemed nice enough. To nice for that literal fleeing anyway. I get it was kind of a tipping moment where he realized if he got attached to her it would basically mean giving up his dreams forever so it was more a rejection of the idea of living a life he didn't want than a rejection of her but it just kinda seemed like he bolted at the sight of her lol.
My favorite part of this video is the fact that The Dad can’t see the star, and even despite that he believes in his son enough to trust him and let him go.
I think he saw it in his eye
I have a feeling that the star is a representation of ambition. This is why gildedguy can see it and pursue it but doesn’t try to reach it. This is in contrast to the green eyed cowboy who was driven enough to touch it even if he crashed through others works to get to it.
@@gianttacogod He doesnt, when it pans over to the sky there isnt a the green star
The star isn't real, and it wasn't real in the first place, the star is only visible to Gildedguy cuz of the paint in his eyes, the paint created a delusional star for Gildedguy to tell his next objective.
@@ThePROtagonistAnimations
Not necessarily a delusion, more or less a representation of his hopes, dreams and ambitions
It is most definitely real and always has been through the eyes of Gildedguy, it just took some time and consideration for it to be awoken. A “creative spark” to put it simply
But hey that’s just what I think :]
4:41 I’m surprised no one was talking about this was his Dad holding back his tears. He didn’t enjoy fighting or hurting his son, but sometimes you need to show tough love especially for something he thought was right for his son. But as we saw Gilded didn’t have the same passion for his work as his father did. And he understood what was being given to him, a very good job, a possible happy relationship, and overall success, however could you really enjoy that success if it’s not your passion. Also notice the figures made from gold, butterfly, bird, and a horse; these living creatures in one way or another will symbolize life and freedom which I thought was a brilliant touch as being stuck in a routine can make you feel dead inside. Overall this animation was a “GOLD” mine and brilliantly executed I can’t wait to see more.
He was like:

despite everything, dad still picked him up and supported him, so wholesome.
I love the little detail that when gildeguy finally stands up to his father the painting hes painting is pointing forward or up towards his goal and his love interest has a X indicting that he shouldn't but he does it anyway
The amount o meaning you put into your videos is astounding, and that it always fits with the song, it has vibrant and dull colours depending on the situation. You can see so much character, world building, creativity and even the little things where when the dad gives some gold to GG it’s a representation of how he is expecting of GG hopes and dreams. It’s all really pushing the limits of animation to the point where you don’t even have to look to see how much effort and creativity goes into this. You’re a great creator and I hope I can see more content creators like you, Please keep it up.
the "explosion" at 4:56 is shaped like the green star
the attention to detail in these animations are crazy
Also has his dad’s “Pentagon/House” symbol there too.
Also his eye glowed green but in slow motion you could see the star shape on his eye become the explosion

I always feel it, but I think it's worth waiting for this writer's work.
When I look at this artist's work, I also have a desire to produce such a wonderful video.
Thank you for giving me a good motivation!
hi blas!!!
:0 blue glasses
didnt expect you here, blas
Heck yes
Im not expecting ya here :D
Watching these videos over again reminds me that it’s more then a character we are watching, but Gildedguy himself. His life represented beautifully. From how he started, obstacles, and envy. I’m so happy that these stories are more then just fights and action when there’s creativity and cause put in every detail he adds. Love it. 💙
Absolutely amazing animation Gilded! I love your tendency to mesh together different colors and every single time you do, it always looks spectacular! Keep up the great work!
I love how when his dad looks at the sky, he doesn't see what Gilded sees. He can't see the star, and even though at that point he is willing to acquiesce, he doesn't understand what could be worth the safety and security of their home, their community, or their jobs. But then he looks at his son, and he sees how desperately he wants this, how he wants more than anything to go outside and create his own path. Then, he sees the star, in Gilded's eye. He realizes how important it is to him, understands he can trust him, and gives him his blessing to go out into the world.
God, I'm tearing up just thinking about it. He might not get it, but he loves his son and trusts the job he did raising him. He believes in him, even though it's not the path he intended for him.
I also love the end is a mirror of the beginning, albiet more extreme. Guy chose a different career than his dad, and while you can see his disappointment for a moment, he accepted it and congratulated Guy because it's what his son chose. It was a small step that helped him accept the big one later.
also wanted to mention even though im 4 months late, the music stops during that scene when it focuses on the dad, but when it focuses on gilded guy it returns
gilded might be the start.
Why does glideguy lose his gold in the green eyed cowboy and he has lots now also when did he get round armor

Gilded my friend... I have to say... Your animations have inspired me for years now. To outlast sorrow, to be brave to keep fighting on and on and on... But this, this is something special. I'm just purely mesmerized by your talent, with each animation it getting better and better. Gildedguy... If you ever see this comment, I want to sincerely thank you. To thank you for even inspiring me to make a "series", characters, and a story, all to try an adventure of my own. Though millions may scroll by this comment and never see it, I hope this knight in golden armor can just to know how grateful I am to want to animate like this someday. All I would need if the ability to, by someday getting a tablet not just for pictures, but moving pictures. Or hey, 3D maybe. But again, in the slimmest chance you see this man... *thank you for having the courage to share your story.* I hope someday I'll be able to get some tips to start out! Hahaha! Have a great one, Gildedguy. One last time, thank you for being a tremendous inspiration to millions worldwide!
I know im late at commenting and probably soemone already noticed this but i think
I think that this episode is a way of telling his journey on becoming an animator, he had gildedguy as his character or oc when he was a child and he dreamed on becoming an animator which he did but there was one scene where gildedguy was older and still a painter looking sad that might mean that he didn't expect animating to be this hard but he still tries!
If this is the case, then i hope you're doing well dude! We all love your work
Edit:
"there was one scene where gildedguy was older and still a painter looking sad" 4:52

I think a part of the metaphors this world puts forward are helped along, by a sort of magic system, where raw will can be asserted over reality.
Where mind and matter are interchangeable, gildedguy repeatedly fights of impossibly strong warriors with only his willpower and a really long sword to help him.
He only starts to lose when his will is low, and was able to beat bog with only his mind.
In short he is so powerful because he lives where mind changes matter, and where everyone else would revert to instinct or give up, he keeps going.
I love this animation, I can't wait to see how gildedguy becomes more significant in the stickman genre!
The cruder art style at the end makes a lot of sense: it both reflects Gildedguy's earlier artistic style and the style actually used for Gildedguy vs. Fry (although I guess technically in that case that was because it was a speedbattle)
The artistic value and messages in this animations are UNREAL not even joking this animations have been making me thing a lot about what it means and I’m so glad I came to know this channel
There is a leaked Fortnite skin that is glided guy
It gives me epic Mickey vibes
I love the way you showed off being an artist as seeing a star others don't, not many can non-artists can understand that pull from within. Great work on the entire animation!
I like that the paint brush bristles break. It's like his passion began to dry up, break, and lose it's spark. But he still had the sword, a representation of his technique and the hard work and effort put in to master the craft. He was bruised and battered, but it was something he could rely on until his passion came back and the brush was restored.
If you told me 15 years ago that this is what stick figure flashes would evolve into, I would've laughed and called you insane.
You know what, I can't blame you I would have called that a fake and I wouldn't even exist yet
i love how thats why his sword is how it is, it acts like it is the paintbrush
oh yeah, good catch
Welp today is the day I watch your series for the first time. I'm excited about what I'm about to experience

Thats pretty wrong, most duelists have lore.
This actually hits hard for me. Especially since my father is an interior designer. He always cherished me, wanting me to be like him, continue his company and I can attain a wealthy and rich life. But, like Gildedguy, I threw all of that away to achieve my dream as an artist. Somehow I think me and him aren't that different. I too am struggling with my finance (but still manageable). The reason I threw all that easy life was because I just wanted to achieve my dream, and I also knew that it'll be a hard and grueling journey for me. But in the end, I feel fulfilled and knowing that I can grow with each step I take. So thank you Gildedguy for not giving up on your dreams and give inspirations to people like me.

The animation absolutely blew my mind! Keep up this amazing work!
In one of the paintings Michael did in this episode it showed to arrows pointing left and right meaning he doesn't know where to go. But then the last painting we saw was pointing up meaning he has found what he was looking for
I love how the sack of money GG has acts as a makeshift cape, also a nice detail I noticed was when Pa chucked the house GG's reflection shifted from showing his regular eyes to his glowing green ones.

For real, him reaching into the bag and appearing in a shower of gold in an instant is so baddass and smooth!!!
Yeah do wonder when will gilded get some kind of that power since he does need money a little or it's just a trait by being a manager of compact mini earth house he is managing
He's used that power before, like whenever he glows or here where he fused the gold into his painter gear. It doesn't stack up to what his dad can do but it's still pretty neat!
also i like this part 4:15 the way he just looks up and looks at abigail xD
This is a master piece also nice job on this I have watched this nonstop ever since this first came out and it has brought me so much joy

I struggle with this dilemma and I wish I could have the will and courage to follow what I really want. Thank you for being someone I didn't know I related more than I ever thought I would.
We've also seen that in this fantasy world there are bound to be a lot of fights if you go on an adventure (pretty much a given xd) so it's understandable that the parents would be worried. I mean, even in the real world, martial arts carry some amount of risks for practitioners.

Yes fry, his ultimate rival.
i feel this kind of supports a small theory of mine that the green-eyed cowboy is one of guilded's many ancestors and seems to be connected with the green star(and maybe the pen to) that gilded sees. also something else I realized was that the way gilded uses the paint brush to fight is kind of the same way he uses his sword, especially with the large aoe attacks I just find that pretty cool
The animation here is spectacular
