A home coming for this lovely backdate, it's amazing to see Sam really enjoying the #911sm and it being properly driven. We definitely have a soft spot for this car.
Stunning car Sam.
I will always have a soft spot for the older 911's, my uncle had a 71 911T, it was white with same lights on it, he and my father auto crossed it in the Porsche club of America events in the 70's, I remember my father made some straight pipes for it, theres nothing thats sounds so beautiful. Every time I see your 911 it takes me back, thank you for keeping it alive, cheers sam.
What an awesome memory to have. Happy to keep it going 👍🏻
I miss videos like this
A very special car, thanks for the video, please do more on this one
Thanks, will do
I really appreciate this car 😃
Nice classic
you sure have fun with the car and take care of it.
Very much plan on doing so 👍🏻
what size is the wheel? I'm using a 400 mm wheel which I find much more enjoyable than the previous 350 momo.
What is the newest model you can back date to this look. Love it! Would like to do this kind project one day..
That is a very interesting question. I think SC to get this style, otherwise you are looking more like the singer
Nice car! A bit safe on the interior for my liking, but very well done and each to their own. I defintely don't own one and accept i'll most probably never have the pleasure!!
You have put together a great channel Sam. Thoroughly enjoy your context and delivery.
Thanks, appreciate the comments
I owned HMY3K chassis # 0138 for a couple of years. lovely to see its sister :) Autofarm you put a new oil tank in my S for me and a very nice job you did too.
Awesome, great to hear from owners of these cars
The car looks great, I would add a dovetail if available...
Duck-tail grasshopper
They look great parked up together... anymore shots?
Couple at the end of the vid. Have to do something with them another time
u r lucky..one of the best shops around...is engine stock besides muffler set up?
No, quite a bit of work. S cams, 3.2 barrels. Webbers. Gearbox pulled apart and refined
Which model was at the beginning ? Couldn’t catch it...
A '78 SC. In my opinion it should have stayed that way. (Not that it's bad in it's current form).
Fod a backdate like this is it easier on a 911 sc or a 964 ?
I don’t think you could make a 964 look like this generation and doubt panels etc would fit.
@@sammooresphoto yeah, This was my doubt. On the other side the 964 is a more modern car.
Is Autofarm still a trusted garage after so much time ?
Some vlogs are 5 years ago ..
Still doing good work
@@sammooresphoto tks
Will be there soon
@@sammooresphoto have you done anything to the steering or is stock ?
Andrea M. Steering is stock, have a smaller wheel that the original car
What color is your car? Signal?
Yep, signal yellow
sounds like a tractor from cold lol
Surprised you don’t do your own work and have to hire it out. Your missing out on half the fun. Your car does not look to be signal yellow, but the car that is being assembled next to it does. I have a signal yellow 1973.5 911, and looks just like the car that was next to yours. I thought it was the lighting, but yours is definitely some other color.
I bet his 911 is Speed Yellow...Ferrari color. He doesn't quite get it.
fucking show the car more
