This is great. But I'm simply using my insta360 (OneX) camera as a multi angle camera. This means I'll not be exporting it as a VR render. I'm sure these settings will work with my workflow just fine. But I've run into a major issue. The 360 video is not showing up in the preview window. And the movement controls are bot working in real-time. Nor are the transitions. I'm only experiencing this with 360 videos. PLEASE. How do I fix this?
How can I place a rounded logo at the bottom of the 360 Video in Premiere, so that I can see the logo if I look to the bottom. I tried to put it in, but I only can see a small piece of the logo.
I thought I followed all the steps correctly but when I tried to up load my 360 footage to UA-cam it was just a curved square video surrounded by black outline. What did I do wrong?
Good tutorial, but I have a problem this tutorial doesn't answer, I need to set a default "zoom" starting point. You demonstrate the Rotate Sphere effect where you can pan / tilt to a starting point, I also need zoom. I have a GoPro plugin effect called "reframe" that does exactly what I need, but it only works for normal video, not 360 video. Any ideas????
I don't know if it is solved or not but you need to use VR Rotate sphere. Switch on the keyframes for X, Y, Z axis and then set the starting point. That will be the default view for the viewer
If I swith to the VR modus, it gives me a square view and not a 16:9. As well a question... Can I mix regular video with 360 in one edit? I use the Gopro FUSION. Thanks for any answere
Click on the little wrench icon an go to "VR VIDEO" then to "settings" from there you can change the monitor view on the horizontal and vertical. Hope that helps!
The black dots means that your exported video is not perfectly 'equirectangular'. The frame ratio needs to be exactly 2:1. Fix that issue and the black dots will disappear :)
good stuff but why didn't you explain how you downloaded the video into premiere in the first place. just mention the camera used and if the file was stitched by camera. many of these Adobe tutorials dont explain how you started the project in the first place. please fix this.
1:03 - we get a square while you see it the way it should be.
How do setup the preview so its like yours and not a square?
This is immensely helpful, thank you

When I go into vr view in the editor I just get a bitty screen of my footage instead of something as big as yours.
Is there a way to make the logo follow the users vision throughout the video ?
Great lesson. What about the mettle software?
Adobe acquired the Mettle SkyBox plugins, they have been renamed though. Those are what are actually featured in this video. 👍
The Immersive Video Effects are plug Ins that you install separately. Who makes them???
What if u use PlayStation VR because I made a yt vid on it but it went all..wiggly? Idk how to say it
