I became a Tom Hanks fan after Forest Gump. But I apologize that up until this video, I have missed many of his great works as I never watch TV and rarely go to the movies anymore due to living on a fixed income since my retirement from the Fire Service in 2013. what about the show, bosom buddies? around 1980. that was a fun show and i was asked to be in the show but didnt want to fly to ca alone, as i was just a teen then and my mom couldnt go with me. his coworker/cast member, Donna Dixon lived near me in Lorton, va (at the time) and her dad Earl said that he wanted me to do one show. i was honored, but again, passed it up but who knew that Tom would be one of the biggest names in history and i blew my chance to act with him and them.
Great video presentation, My favorite movie would be Sully only because i worked in the Airline Industry for 25 years, but lets face it all of Tom Hanks movies are great. A little fact about Tom is that when he and his wife were here in Australia filming Elvis on the Gold Coast they both contracted Coronavirus and were separated into different hospital rooms at Gold Coast hospital. I believe Tom Hanks is one of the finest working actors in Hollywood today. He is warm and generous to his fans and seems to make friends where ever he goes. In my opinion I believe he has stared in many more films that deserved an Oscar Awards besides the two films for which he did win.

Look at the late Robin Williams, he had everything going for him in life, but because of the onset of a disease, he choose to leave on a high note. We lost a good person, actor, husband, father, friend, but I assume he felt the rest of his life would be more of a burden to his family & so he decided it was time to go home. Forest Gump made a huge impression on me. I have watched this movie about 8 times. The strongest motivation to not give up and love. Love relatives, your soul mate and just live.
The video didn't mention his TV series. Of course, I could have just missed that part. My favorite Tom movies are Big, Forest Gump, Sulley and the entire Dan Brown series. Too me, he is the best actor of our time. I appreciate that he does nor act like a pinhead like the rest of Hollywood.

I love him as an actor but the support he gave to his wife when going through a trying time makes him the epitome of a truly loving and devoted man. He's just awesome.
