As a teacher, I can't begin to tell you how heartwarming this particular video is. Sometimes, the Nathan's that frustrate us to no end turn out to be our richest blessings. Dr. Barkay's story is tremendously touching. How his father used to bless him in Hebrew, and the Lord led Dr. Barklay to find the 1st temple period scrolls inscribed with the priestly benediction in the oldest Hebrew form is an awesome work that ONLY GOD can do. This video brought me to chills and to tears. It is by far my favorite.

"The name Nathan doesn't seem to denote something that is given (as NOBSE Study Bible Name List suggests with the meaning of Gift), but rather an active form of the verb: He Will Give. Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads Given."
I met Dr. Gabi Barkay in 2005 when our oldest daughter studied for a semester in Jerusalem with The Master’s University during our visit to see her and tour the area. Dr. Barkay gave a talk on the silver scrolls excavated in that region. Every day there was so fascinating. Our daughter was featured in a photo during her archaeology dig on the front cover of an archaeology magazine. Our entire visit only lasted 12 days, but it was a trip of a lifetime.
I'd give anything, except my soul, :) to visit the Holy Land!! You are truly blessed! To be able to visit the all the relevant places mentioned in the Bible, and to walk in Jesus's footsteps! WOW!!! All the shops in the old part of Jerusalem look so intetesting!interesting!! God Bless you!!

The fact that Nathan or the full name being Nathaniel meaning Gods gift was the name of the boy who found the only un robbed tomb in the whole of Jerusalem is a miracle indeed!
Well, it's now been robbed and looted.. and we literally learned nothing from it. Did anyone doubt that Jews worshipped God in Jerusalem in the time of Jeremiah? He did the same exact thing he complains about people doing in ancient times. He desecrated graves for fancy trinkets. It makes no difference that he has the title of "Dr." to the people who wished to be buried with those items for eternity. I am surprised the Jewish government allows this type of thing to happen to the graves of their own people.
I’ve watched every biblical archeology tv documentary I could find over the last five to 10 years here on US tv. How has no one ever done a documentary just as you have done on this discovery. What an amazing story. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Now to dig deeper with your book and videos.
Hi Scout ~ There have been a few. Recently, there were 3 new online and TV shows depicting a discovery of ANOTHER metal scroll found by a combined team of archeologists. The Head of this discovery was an American who lead a team with a number of Israeli and foreign scholars over a several year “resifting” of dump piles at a well known excavation site in Israel. They uncovered an incredible number of artifacts with the use of new technological methods. One such episode was released by “Unbelievable” …an UK UA-cam channel. Another was released by FIRST CENTURY FOUNDATIONS…a Canadian online channel. It was also documented on ONE FOR ISRAEL…an online Israeli channel. All of these are great CHRISTIAN UA-cam channels - offering skeptics, nonbelievers, and Christians alike, interesting topics. If you are searching for a TV option…Associates for Biblical Research (ABR) has likely offered a TV episode about this latest discovery of which I speak, as the Head/Lead of the excavation is both a part of ABR and an American at a seminary in Texas by the name of Dr. Scott Stripling. Dr. Stripling and ABR offer the public some amazing BIBLICAL archeology shows, of which you may enjoy. I hope this was helpful! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your Love Ones!! ☃🎄🇨🇦🎄☃
The reason no one did it before now was because before Trump, telling whopper lies to people was generally called out and proven false right away, but since Trump, Reality does not matter, facts do not matter, what matters is how far you can push your insanity to live in an alternate reality. The psychotic break from reality is accepted by tens of thousands wholesale now, so putting out lies no longer matters! That is why all these AMAZING stories that no one ever heard before are coming out NOW! If you do just a LITTLE research, these have been around since 1979, and MOST archeologists date them to 100 to 200 BC, not 700 BC!!! Look at images of the scrolls, side by side by what these people are claiming it states, and the characters are NOTHING like what they claim! They are not even close, and where they repeat words, the scrolls DO NOT!
It is because respectable news media requires evidence and not just a mere claim. Claims are not evidence. Besides, the guy didn't even receive his PhD until 1985 (six years after the so called discovery). Dr. John Bridges in 1587 first stated, "... a fool and his money are soon parted."
@@erniebell1858 Why do I keep finding you in these threads? You acknowledge he has a PhD. Who cares when he got it, it's irrelevant to this finding. Do you have evidence to dispute when and where these things were found, or that they've been wrongly dated, or anything at all, or are you just trolling?
Yahweh? Haha. The god jews believe in has nothing to do with the God in Heaven. I hope you know that. Look at Hollywood and today's society and it will give you a clue who the Jews worship.
"The country of Israel"when we all know Israel is a State, not a country. Also we sont say: "the country of France", "the country of Canada", we would say "in Israel"
A little history lesson, not that you can swallow any of it. Originally YHWH meant PLURALITY OF BEINGS, then came the EGO maniacs which turned this cheesy fairy-tale into worlds biggest scam just rule & abuse you. A silly fake story like this brings joy to your heart, because deep down you know its all FAKE. As the scripture tells "TRUTH will set you free". Go check what Dead Sea Scrolls really are, maybe you will actually get someplace. Mother nature gave you brains and things like...curiosity!
I agree that Nathan broke through the floor and brought an artifact to his leader. He's been recognized for this. However, the scrolls were found after searching through and cataloging the position of each piece of artifact. I personally think that the doctor's attitude toward Nathan is a "better than thou" attitude.
I was moved by Dr. Baray's story about the personal impact the words on this scroll had for him. God shows his grace and love yet again. Absolutely awesome presentation, thank you.
The gullibility of religious people who consistently never demand evidence for anything but will so rapidly accept the word of charlatans and even freely give away a lot of their earnings to support these fabricated claims.
@cindybin2001 Conceivably, the individual (or individuals) is endeavoring to get people emotional by utilizing click-bate videos to enhance their viewership. I don't actually know but it is a tactic to get more views on their channel and possible more income. I also don't know how UA-camrs acquire money on their channels. Is it based on the number of Subscriptions, Likes, or Views? Again, I don't know.
@@erniebell1858 "The gullibility of religious people who consistently never demand evidence for anything ..." What about the gullibility of atheistic people who never demand evidence for claims that put Christians in a bad light? Like the false claim that "religious" people never demand evidence for anything? I _frequently_ ask for evidence from critics of Christianity and the Bible, and I _rarely_ get any. "I also don't know how UA-camrs acquire money on their channels." One way is that it's based on the ads that UA-cam runs on their videos. The more the videos are watched, the more the ads are viewed, so the more that UA-cam pays them. "Conceivably, the individual (or individuals) is endeavoring to get people emotional by utilizing click-bate videos to enhance their viewership." Yes, conceivably that's the case. It's also conceivable that they are endeavouring to promulgate the truth with facts and evidence. So it appears that your bias is showing.

Yeah! I'd like to think that documentary work, especially those focusing on the copper scroll at Qumran, would have been enough to bring some mention of this discovery in 1979! First a copper Issah Second a silver numbers scroll from the first temple period. Next, is it a gold scroll, a young boy will find? Makes me wonder...
Fairly well known in the Jewish world, especially in Israel. The scrolls are on view at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. Also the finds from Khirbet Qaiyafa, biblical Sha'arayim (means 2 gates, an unusual feature found there). Finds at the City of David are also very impressive; written evidence of biblical personalities from the reign of King Hezekiah.
Speak of the Bible, about "Father and I are One " If i said my mother and I are one, does that mean I am my mother? No! It means I'm like my mother. Jesus is like his Father, same image. Because in Luke 3:38 it says Adam is son of God. "Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God." In Exodus 4:22 Israel is God's firstborn son. " Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, Israel is my firstborn son " I'm proud to be Marminshael (Believer of El). I love my religion. Come over and see for yourself, It's really interesting and fun and beautiful and educating. For normal Israelis (Jews) who read the Bible not as something ancient and remote - but like everyday newspaper, or history book or law-book -- the language is the same and we read it quite fluently (with the exception of few words here and there that are a little puzzling - but in the end they're few, and the contexts is overwhelmingly well understood) For us - who try to persuade the world that tries to explain to us how "this is Palestine", is just... well... ridiculous. We know the names of each stone there... We wrote this book and never forgot a word of it, and now that we're back on this land, is rings a bell with every step you make. It's home!
You're not a bible is his story. You guys like the dig up the old stuff and look at it problem is. The book is NOT over yet. HIS STORY WHERE THIS WORLD CAME FROM? WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO LIVE AND DIE? STILL TO COME WAITING FOR JESUS CHRIST OUR KING AND SAVIOR FOR HIS RETURN TO MAKE A NEW WORLD. ALL GLORY TO GOD AND HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR KING AND SAVIOR FOR GOD HAS HIS PLAN AND PURPOSE IN WHICH IN HIS TIME HIS SON WILL RETURN. JUDGEMENT DAY. THE END OF THIS SYSTEM..... ALL GLORY TO GOD? ITS A CHOICE JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE MAN DOES AND SAYS.

Please forgive me for reflecting upon sadness. But, oh how wonderful it would be to look back upon an earthly father who laid his hands upon my head and said, The LORD bless you and keep your . . .” Even more so that my husband didn’t know to do this for our wonderful sons. They are thousands of miles away, but beginning today I approach the throne and ask my Heavenly Father to bless my sons and my grandchildren with these beautiful words. Thank You, Father for this magnificent report. My love to all who believe in Him.

@@lshed28 The bible has a character named Pontius Pilate. The description of Pilate in the bible is not accurate at all. The bible gets names of locations correct. That is to be expected. Absolutely breathtaking story. That the discovery of the century had been made by a child sent goosebumps down my spine. The Bible gives a special significance to children, doesn't it? Sometimes God winks at us. And sometimes God gets serious, and this is when an archaeologist makes a discovery of his lifetime and sees the Hebrew blessing his own father had given him - but on a scroll dating from nearly three thousand years earlier. I get something new every time I rewatch one of your videos. What an exciting discovery this was. So touching to see Dr. Barckay talk about it so many years later. Obviously, his heart is still affected by it!
I just read this verse and it seems pretty fitting to put it here: 2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 👌👌
Paul refers here to himself. An earthen vessel. So that what he accomplishes is to the glory of God and for the sake of all who will respond to the ministry of the Good News.
KJV has 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. “earthen vessels” are our bodies where God has chosen to dwell, the light of God in us The meaning comes from the context of this chapter. Those “likes” you got from the people, are those who don’t read the Bible.
This was stunning to hear Dr. Barkay tell his personal testimony about the scriptures. The drone images of Jerusalem give me chills and make me think of Jesus ruling from there. Your drawing of the repository make it all so much clearer. I wonder where Little Nathan is now?
The Jerusalem name is a lie like the name Jesus is. Zion is the true name that was replaced by Jerusalem. Jesus replaced Immanuel as the birth given name.
As the daughter of a Biblical Archaeologist I can only imagine the thrill among alll to come to realize the value of this find. Not only the scroll itself but to incorporate the reality of its preservation over the centuries. Glory to God. Thank you for tellling the story. May more and more finds come to light. PJTB
Wow! This is so personal to me as well. I close out all my livestreams with THAT scripture! And to now SEE it written on a scroll dating back to the first temple is quite extraordinary! I'm in awe. 🙌🏼
I've wanted to be an archaeologist since I was maybe 3-4 years old. I remember people thought it was funny and weird - especially from a little kid - when everyone else wanted to be firefighters, astronauts, etc.. I'm 36 now and I'm a logger with an IT degree but life isn't over yet. Maybe I'll retire someday and become an archaeologist then.
Barkay is a wonderful guy. I spoke with him while he waited for a taxi in Jerusalem one day. He talked with me about the importance including your wife in some of the aspects of your job, so that you two don't grow apart. This guy walks around Jerusalem and sees random things from ancient times in the dirt. He cites the Bible better than most pastors.
Yes, a field archeologist can teach you to see things in the lay of the land, just like field hydrologists and geologists learn to understand small clues in the land, or the currents of water. A good skill to learn for anyone.
I really love your content. I took my family to israel this past year and saw these scrolls with my own eyes. So cool to see them featured on your channel, and seeing the doctor that discovered em. Thank you for sharing!
Congratulations to Nathan for being the one who discovered this!! Some say his name means given by God which adds such a beautiful touch to this story. Christ is King, thank you Father YAWEH 🙏
This video is wonderful on so many levels. Dr Barkay's story telling is witty and well paced. I had to pause a number of times to collect myself from the laughter on hearing his recounting of the events with Nathan. We can all picture it. I think it's so great that they include the children. But the laughter turned to chills down my spine when he read the passage from Numbers. There, in this tomb for 2500 years was this little inscription on a piece of silver with the words that have been handed down to us and now, I can turn in my Bible an read them. Praise God for His word and it's preservation!
I love this, little Nathan, so precious. I learned the Aaronic Blessing song decades ago - Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa used to sing it to the Church at the end of Bible study. I still sing it all the time. I imagine we'll be singing it with restored Israel in the soon coming Millennial Kingdom 🙏❤️🕊️🎶🎶 Numbers 6:24-26
@cindybin2001 Cindy, please stick ONLY to the TRUE WORD OF GOD. The book of Mormon is a word from man. It is NOT the Way the Truth and the Life but another gospel which Jesus Himself warned about. Please please please reconsider where you place your faith.

It's truly awesome that the blessing my pastor does to me and my church every Sunday, is the same blessing that someone in the 7th century BC loved so much they were buried with it in silver. @cindybin2001 you're not "anti" if you sincerely believe someone has put their faith in an error, and you respectfully disagree with them. It would be wrong not to disagree if that is the case. Joel was very respectful in that video. If Mormonism is true it will not fear scrutiny.
Brother Joel, your videos are real inspiration to us. I am a pastor of a small church in the Philippines and there are times that your presentations are one of the sources information in my biblical study. Very nicely done and very nicely presented. Thank for doing the hard work for us! "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."
It doesn't mean these people are Gods servants. God used people "of the nations" to accomplish his purpose in ancient times. Ron Wyatt found amazing places and events from Gods word and its history, but he didn't know God and so it is probable he was not in Gods favor. They are what Second Timothy 3:5, 7 describes. People of the nations may be used as puppets, but Gods people are inspired by his holy spirit and/or All the instructions in The Bile. You all pick and choose what You want to believe, and ignore the rest of Gods sovereignty and authority. Everyone knows Gods name is Jehovah. The Great Tribulation will soon come, and even though the time is shorter than ever, you still have time to find The truth.
@cindybin2001 Because most people, including professors or professionals, don't care. Its a matter of what makes Them feel happy and the support from their peers. I am against the teachings of Mormons, but you are right on your point of principle.
@cindybin2001 1. I am not against Mormons in hateful a way: against their book, yes. God says to hate what is bad and that book does not correspond with nor compliments The Bible as it should so it is bad. 2. Gods word is total, complete, from Genesis to Revelation, so to have a book and say it is from a prophet of God Can't Possibly Be. impossible. The Koran has the same value: none. It is not meant to be offensive, it is from an honest, educated point of view. 3. The Bible doesn't support the book of Mormons. You can bend and twist Gods word in some cases to suit your book, but Gods word can not be manipulated nor contradicted. 4. Ninety nine percent of All religion is false, that includes ninety nine percent of "Christian" religions, too. God can only have One unified religion, as he did in ancient Israel, as he did in the first century AD, so he will have true worship also in the final part of the days.
This was great to see. Thank you for sharing this. I’m very curious what happened to Little Nathan. Did he and Dr. Barkay stay in touch over the years? Did little Nathan grow up to be an archeologist as well?

This is SO exciting, best Christmas present ever!!! Thanks Joel. My heart is racing with joy. Everything hidden will be disclosed eventually. I have to share this
This finding has nothing to do with Christmas. In fact, such an idea goes completely against the word of God. Jeremiah 10:2-5 Thus says YHVH: “Do not learn the way of the gentiles (nations); do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the gentiles (nations) are dismayed at them. For the customs of the peoples are futile; for one cuts a tree from the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with nails and hammers so that it will not topple. They are upright, like a palm tree, and they cannot speak; they must be carried, because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, nor can they do any good.” Sound familiar Christian? And the time to realize this, is now. All glory and praise belongs to HA’SHEM [God]! No other!
@@timothya.olmeda7299 It shows you have no idea what you are talking about. In Jeremiah that is speaking about the pagans and their rituals. They would bring those trees in and carve idols of their gods into them. Also, Jeremiah 44 talks about the asherah groves they would carve and worship the queen of heaven. This has nothing to do with Christmas whatsoever. And the Christmas tree used today symbolizes eternal life; it was used by the early Christians to teach about the trinity.

God and the chosen prophets of God (Joshua-Malachi) explains the circumstances in which all peoples of the nations have experienced, including those whom the children of Israel have either experienced or witnessed from the ways of those who surround them. The warnings, you uneducated Christian, is for all generations, not just the past generations. The fact that you are unaware of this only proves that you are reading your Bible version completely out of context. For example, God forbids other gods, and gives a dire warning to the future generations throughout the biblical narrative. Just one more example? I Kings 19:18 “Yet I have left Me seven thousand in , all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.” These faithful remnant of Israel remained faithful to God and Torah, no matter what the consequences were. Today, the Jesus agenda is the Baal of the past two millennia now. A triune godhead designed to capture your heart and deceive you, and take you further away from the God of Israel. A plan so hidden due to the fact that Christians allow the Jesus agenda to capture their hearts and drive them into rabbit holes until they go into confusion together. But again, what did God warn us about trusting our heart? Jeremiah 17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, YHVH, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.” Who told you that God’s commandments, statutes, and judgments are only for a certain generation? Because as it turns out Christian, the commandments of God are eternal. Whoever is your teacher you need to fire them immediately!

Love that I-ate-crow line: “as it turned out, *he* made the discovery of *my* lifetime.” EDIT: also, the words on the scrolls were in a verse I heard on the radio yesterday, and thought “I’ve read and heard this before, but never remembered it until now.” And I remembered that BEFORE the archaeologist spoke of how these were the first words he heard in Hebrew from his father in the death camps!!! Signs of affirmation? Undoubtedly... And still not the clearest I’ve seen in my life. God is good. Thank you for serving him, sir. Your channel is a blessing.
Yes, Dr. Barkai probably has kept in touch with Nathan for the last 40 years. I can only imagine what their relationship must be like. It has got to humble him that Nathan made the discovery of Dr. Barkai's life..

Exactly the day before I found your video, someone in a community I am apart of online had asked how do you respond to people who wrote books about how Jesus didn’t exist and the resurrection never happpened based on archeological finds and whatnot.

Interesting to note according to Abiram Publications The name NATHAN means "He will give"...Amazing!
From Abiram Publications site for the name NATHAN...
"The name Nathan doesn't seem to denote something that is given (as NOBSE Study Bible Name List suggests with the meaning of Gift), but rather an active form of the verb: He Will Give. Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads Given."
Nathan and Hebrew means gift of God that's so cool
It even sounded like a Bible story.

I met Dr. Gabi Barkay in 2005 when our oldest daughter studied for a semester in Jerusalem with The Master’s University during our visit to see her and tour the area. Dr. Barkay gave a talk on the silver scrolls excavated in that region. Every day there was so fascinating.

I agree that Nathan broke through the floor and brought an artifact to his leader. He's been recognized for this. However, the scrolls were found after searching through and cataloging the position of each piece of artifact. I personally think that the doctor's attitude toward Nathan is a "better than thou" attitude.
Perhaps he will become a Holy Prophet.

What about the gullibility of atheistic people who never demand evidence for claims that put Christians in a bad light? Like the false claim that "religious" people never demand evidence for anything? I _frequently_ ask for evidence from critics of Christianity and the Bible, and I _rarely_ get any.
"I also don't know how UA-camrs acquire money on their channels."
One way is that it's based on the ads that UA-cam runs on their videos. The more the videos are watched, the more the ads are viewed, so the more that UA-cam pays them.
"Conceivably, the individual (or individuals) is endeavoring to get people emotional by utilizing click-bate videos to enhance their viewership."

Come over and see for yourself, It's really interesting and fun and beautiful and educating. For normal Israelis (Jews) who read the Bible not as something ancient and remote - but like everyday newspaper, or history book or law-book -- the language is the same and we read it quite fluently (with the exception of few words here and there that are a little puzzling - but in the end they're few, and the contexts is overwhelmingly well understood) For us - who try to persuade the world that tries to explain to us how "this is Palestine", is just... well... ridiculous. But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
👌👌
Oooooooo amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paul refers here to himself. An earthen vessel. So that what he accomplishes is to the glory of God and for the sake of all who will respond to the ministry of the Good News.
KJV has
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
“earthen vessels” are our bodies where God has chosen to dwell, the light of God in us
The meaning comes from the context of this chapter.
I'm in awe. 🙌🏼
This is just amazing, please keep these coming. It's super enlightening & helpful.
Do it!!! Archeology sounds so fulfilling.
You are so young yet!! Do it now you won't regret it!
Do your thing, buddy.
There are sites to fi d out in them there hills...and you IT degree will help ensure your find does NOT get buried.!
You wouldn't be the first! One of the archaeologists at Associates for Biblical Research did exactly that, I think. I believe it was Dr Bryant Wood.
Biblical archeology is one of my favorite subjects. So glad i found this channel
God reveals Himself again and again and again ... hallelujah 🙌
That benediction is my favorite passage from the Bible. This find thrilled me. Praise the Lord, for he is good! I got teary-eyed.
I love this, little Nathan, so precious.
I learned the Aaronic Blessing song decades ago - Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa used to sing it to the Church at the end of Bible study. I still sing it all the time.
I imagine we'll be singing it with restored Israel in the soon coming Millennial Kingdom 🙏❤️🕊️🎶🎶
Numbers 6:24-26
I know u sing the song all the time I hear u all the time , 1pm ,7pm 12midnight, 2am 3:30am ,5am etc , u need raise the tempo , & melody a tad
@@lennyjohnson9331 The LORD bless thee🎶🕊️
@cindybin2001 Cindy, please stick ONLY to the TRUE WORD OF GOD. The book of Mormon is a word from man. It is NOT the Way the Truth and the Life but another gospel which Jesus Himself warned about.
Please please please reconsider where you place your faith.
I take the REMINDER from you to rely on the powerful blessings we receive in the Catholic Holy Mass ... God bless you ...
@cindybin2001 “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel,
And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
‘I am the First and I am the Last;
Besides Me there is no God.
7 And who can proclaim as I do?
Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me,
Since I appointed the ancient people.
And the things that are coming and shall come,
Let them show these to them.
8 Do not fear, nor be afraid;
Have I not told you from that time, and declared it?
You are My witnesses.
Is there a God besides Me?
Indeed there is no other Rock;
I know not one.’ ”
I so much appreciate the visual aids used in these videos and in the book "Where God Came Down". It is so helpful to be able to envision these sites and finds, to crystalize the reality of the history. What a wonderful story of how a young boy "helped" with such an important find!
If it wasn’t for Little Nathan we would not have made this incredible rare find. God certainly works in mysterious ways, this is obviously the right time for this revelation to be revealed to the world. Thank you for sharing and thank you Little Nathan. ❤
Fantastic!!! I was so touched again by the goodness of God to bring Dr. Barkay's story full circle! Thank you !
I love this channel! Please never stop making these 😊
Good day. I really loved and learnt a lot from this video. I'm watching here in Africa Botswana. Thank you
Your UA-cam channel gives the clearest description of ancient finds. This one is just an example. Great work. Keep it up.
It's truly awesome that the blessing my pastor does to me and my church every Sunday, is the same blessing that someone in the 7th century BC loved so much they were buried with it in silver.
Like, the same feelings of joy, and thankfulness, and of being blessed, that I feel every Sunday, are the same feelings of someone 2700 years ago!
This honestly makes me happy. The Lord truly is great.
Yawah is the name I learned and I'm Irish, I can not stand anybody speaking bad of our Lord, I don't need anything but the Lord in this life because he is the true is all and all of everything the Lord will not stand bye and let anything hurt his true disciples parse to the Lord
I am like a kid on Christmas morning with every new upload from this wonderful channel @Expedition Bible. With such gratitude for all of the explorations, travels and education you share with your viewers. I can not hit the LIKE button fast enough.
As a child, we must approach our Father. 😍
I find it extremely telling that both this discovery and the one at Qumran were both found by male children.
Bless this Archaeologist, Dr Baray, for his humor, honesty and although frustrated His patience with young Blessed Nathan, to find this incredible discovery.
Amen! I agree completely. We must come before the Lord as children in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
What a tremendous find of the name of God in Jerusalem! My heart and soul are overwhelmed with joy for each time that I learn of more archaeological discoveries of the word of God! These discoveries simply increase my awe and wonder at how the Bible and history and archaeology are intertwined. The evidence is unmistakable! Thank you for your works to bring us this revelation!
It's so amazing this little boy, who irritated the archeologist to bits, has now become the ONLY person in the WORLD, to find the OLDEST Bible scripture in history!!
I an SO HAPPY!!!
I hope his name is put alongside the archeologist!! He deserves the credit!!
Good job little man!!!
Joel, I often watch but never comment but thank you for your channel and your videos. The content is always excellent, and I love your passion for the Word of God and its corroboration with archaeology
@cindybin2001 you're not "anti" if you sincerely believe someone has put their faith in an error, and you respectfully disagree with them. It would be wrong not to disagree if that is the case. Joel was very respectful in that video. If Mormonism is true it will not fear scrutiny.
@cindybin2001 he is not wrong about the LDS cult. It is contr
ary to all of God's Word.
What a beautiful story from the archeologist about his father blessing him.
An extraordinary discovery! How did I never hear of this before? Thank you for this amazing channel.
This is just an amazing story in so many ways..I am so thankful that young Nathan was a persistent child🤗Thank You for the wonder work that you do and the details of the Bible you bring.. Many Blessings ✝️🙏🕊️🌿👩🦳
A very interesting & fascinating story.
Hats off to Dr.Barkay for his commitment and dedication in finding this great archeological discovery...
Praise God.
Yes - and to Nathan also.
Amazing. More and more discoveries are being made. Just imagine what is yet to be discovered. Beautiful story of significance for Dr. Barkay.
Aside from the absolutely amazing find, and God's providence in it, the best moment in this video is Dr. Gabi's reaction to the boy at 7:11
"He made the discovery of my life" Wonderful how this man describes this humbling, frustrating event, with both annoyance and Gratitude. Babes, either through their mouths, eyes, or actions.......
Wow, this is incredible, seriously, the coolest thing ever! I am so constantly fascinated by what I learn on this channel.
Oh my, God bless young Nathan, and Dr. Baray, and Joel Kramer, and this channel. Well done.
Little Nathan was hard at work, and a blessing from God!
To a laymen like me, your illustrations greatly enhances the understanding of the story behind the exciting archeological finds....A big thanks!
Had to share this with my Pops. Fascinating and thanks for showing such good detail of the false floor and how it collapsed and covered all that pottery. And thanks for the detail of the difference in the 1st and 2nd temple Hebrew letters.
I have your book and it’s amazing thank you for sharing all these incredible finds.
This whole story gives me chills! ❤
This is SO exciting, best Christmas present ever!!! Thanks Joel. My heart is racing with joy. Everything hidden will be disclosed eventually. I have to share this
This finding has nothing to do with Christmas.
In fact, such an idea goes completely against the word of God.
Jeremiah 10:2-5
Thus says YHVH:
“Do not learn the way of the gentiles (nations); do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the gentiles (nations) are dismayed at them.
Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, nor can they do any good.”
Sound familiar Christian?

Unbeknownst to you Christian, the Bible is a continuum of circumstances that play out in every generation over and over again.
A sin, or disobedience in Torah plays out in every generation throughout the entirety of history, it does not just stop.
I Kings 19:18
“Yet I have left Me seven thousand in , all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”
These faithful remnant of Israel remained faithful to God and Torah, no matter what the consequences were.
Jeremiah 17:9-10
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?
I, YHVH, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”
Who told you that God’s commandments, statutes, and judgments are only for a certain generation?
Because as it turns out Christian, the commandments of God are eternal.
Whoever is your teacher you need to fire them immediately!
@@timothya.olmeda7299 We have to learn how to rightly divide the Word of God, and we cannot group Israel in with the church or do replacement theology. Reading the Bible and understanding it are 2 different things. We who are filled with the Holy Spirit are led to all truth. Of course we have to read and understand all of God's Word, and there are lessons for all of us, but we cannot say all scripture is directed toward us. You are just twisting my words and saying I said this and that when I did not. You are confused and what is wrong with the church these days. Jesus said you must be born again, so I would suggest you come to Him and accept Him as your Saviour before it's too late for eternal soul. And God is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, so take your damdable heresy elsewhere
@@sirkaya1 amen brother.
I found your channel through The Snipe Life who was talking about one of your videos. Exactly the day before I found your video, someone in a community I am apart of online had asked how do you respond to people who wrote books about how Jesus didn’t exist and the resurrection never happpened based on archeological finds and whatnot. It’s amazing that after that discussion that your channel popped up. I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you!
Wow, what an amazing discovery and beautiful story.
It's fantastic to see scripture preserved on plates of precious metal like that, wow!
This channel is a blessing. So interesting. I liked when they laid out on tomb too, it really gave a visual of how it looked like.
what an amazing intro, "this is OLD yo" "We gone see the spot, talk to the finder, and all praise jesus" love it
God bless you Dr. Gabi. Barkay God certainly has you in His heart and mind for bringing you the blessing from the Father given to you through your dad once again. Brought tears to my eyes. God is so great!
Got Me hooked now, commence with binging. Nice articulate straightforward narration. Fantastic good news!
Thank you for doing the work that you do to document these things for us!
That is awesome! Love your videos! I have the book and will look this up! God is so amazing & Dr. Barkay's personal connection made him the perfect person to unearth these scrolls, thanks to the little pest, Nathan.
This is so amazing to me. Young Nathan stumbling upon the treasure of a lifetime. Thank you, Doctor, for your patience with Nathan.
I absolutely love your videos. I'm grateful you do what you do. Blessings to you and your family.
Amen!
@cindybin2001 whats the difference between mormon and christians?
