- What better place to chat with the star of A&E's hit show "Bates Motel" than at the actual Bates Motel & Mansion itself? That's just what YH does as we head to the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot to catch up with actress Vera Farmiga to get all the "licentious" dish on Season 3 of the series based on the classic movie 'Psycho'! She gushes about her co-star Freddie Highmore, plus she talks about some strange requests and fan encounters and reveals the inspiration for her take on the enigmatic Norma Bates!

she’s a good actress but wtf does she gotta cry so damm much. By season 2 i could already tell when she’s gonna cry before the scene even starts. Im surprised she didn’t dehydrate through all that crying in the series.
You really don't have to be! Though I understand where you're coming from. As a girl attracted to guys, I admire her so much I almost believe it's of that nature, when in reality, she is just a beautiful person to model yourself after. I look up to her in plenty of ways, it's almost as if she was my mother.
You definitely don’t have to be gay to notice a beautiful woman. Us ladies can see a very pretty lady and say oh my gosh, she’s so beautiful and it only means just that ……a beautiful woman. I love her expressions when she’s confused, or when she’s mad. She’s just gorgeous!

Two years late, but she's phenomenal in the Bates Motel, her Freddie are literally perfect for their roles, I couldn't imagine anyone else playing their roles, they do it so well

"Bates" Motel is one of the best series that I have ever seen, and Vera Farmiga was the best part of that show. That's saying a lot considering all the talent that 'Bates Motel' had on display.

duh, judging by the behavior. lol easy to say 'how' and then be like 'point at sth', but reread my comment- she leaves me with the impression of being a certain type of scumbag, that means behavior in geberal- speaking over the interviewer, constantly trying to change topics, control conversations, avoid answering, buy herself time to make sth up, underhanded comments etc

This was such a great interview! Usually interviewers are just there to ask questions but you can tell not only was her presence enjoyed but she did her research! I love to see interviewers and actresses get along so well. As always, Vera was a treat to see. She is truly such a class act in these times we're living in, at least to me! As a young girl entering adulthood, I can only hope I age as gracefully as her. She makes her life so interesting and artful.

I didn't even get to watch half of this. The interviewer is so annoying and overbearing. Vera Farmiga handled it pretty well; but you can tell she wasn't pleased. I love her acting, and feel bad for actors who have to put up with such annoying interviewers. But then I think of the money they make...and don't feel so bad.
